Great place to walk your dog off leash

Tin can Hill is one of the few legal off leash designated dog areas and the city was given enough funding to significantly improve it and they did not use it. This could be an amazing trail if the city made a few improvements. I avoid it because I'd rather walk somewhere my dogs will not come out of as mud monsters.

Went biking. Saw two men fight, drunk of course! Yellowknifes finest. Broken glass is a natural feature as well. Various ghetto tents are stashed around the local homeless use as breeding grounds. Overall a pleasure.

Great place to take your dog(s) for a walk and take in the YK views. Best to keep to the trail on top of the hill during the spring thaw around Rat Lake

Nice place for taking a walk after work or when annoyed by trivia. U'll meet cute dogs sometimes.

Nice, easy walk. Hard to believe you are only minutes away from downtown! You can kind of cut your own trails wherever and just wander through the park as you wish.

Nice little hike on the edge of yellowknife. Used to be a great toboggan hill. Take the hike when there's some good winds or the mosquitoes will dine on you.

Great off leash dog walking trails or for general walking. Plenty of wild space to admire and stroll around with sufficient squirrels to be chased. Be careful during spring or fall because the trails are very icey.
