Beautiful views of the fractured shale cliffs. There's a nice outhouse. No access to the ocean here, but from the wharf parking lot nearby you can walk out onto the rocks, and there's a great public beach just a kilometer away

Baeutiful park with some amazing rock formations and an unconformity. The views are spectacular. If you are brave enough to climb down on the rocks at the actual point (down go too far) you will see some amazing rock formations. The lighthouse view is wonderful as well, and even higher from sea level.

Beautiful area. They got a grant and did a total overhaul of this historical site in 2018 and it is now very park like and beautiful with an awesome Memorial statue. I highly recommend a visit to this lighthouse and the whole surrounding area as it is quite beautiful and a photographer's dream

The lighthouse and surroundings have been recently renovated. Also a beautiful memorial for the fishermen lost at sea was erected. The sunsets from the lighthouse are gorgeous!!! A must see!

It has been set up for visiting and to have a picnic the restrooms are indoor but outhouse Clean clean and it is a must. Stop before going to the beach at. Mavelette definitely keep your little ones by your side it is roped off but you know. With. Kids..also a shout out to Bobie the local lobstermen. Who gives of his time to care and watch over the area...if your lucky to meet him. Shake his hand. Hes a wonderful representative of the Martime people...such a amazing spot.

A lovely park to visit included trails along coastal cliffs, spectacular bay of fundy views. Parking, and picnic tables, and a viewing scope are provided. The park live streams on Nova Scotia webcams. Has a memorial for lives lost at sea as well as a functioning lighthouse. Located near the Mavilette Beach Provincial Park. Definitely a great municipal park to visit. Amazing sunsets will not disappoint. Well maintained year round, this park is equally stunning during the winter. The park has interpretive panels explaining the history and culture of the region as well as coastal ecology information panels.
