This is the only large downtown church which did not flee to the suburbs. The congregation is committed to the inner city and their pastor was probably appointed with this in mind. If you are looking for a country club atmosphere mixed with the prosperity gospel, you'd better fire up the BMW and move on.

Calvary temple has a nice atmosphere. Services are very encouraging and worship is very fulfilling in both traditional and contemporary services. They have different activities to complement personal growth with Jesus. They have 3 services in Sunday so it is super convenient in case I miss one. 100% Recommended.

✝️ Pastor Bruce and Mrs. Martin ???? are the most wonderful people ❤ they have a great Church family! Great programming also; Yolande's Single Mum's Group, Alpha, W2W (*Women to Women Christian Mentorship), Wednesday Nights Bible Study, the CSB for the boys, and loved the singing Sunday evenings also!! I definitely miss it since moving out of Wpg., but thank goodness everything is online! My child loves the Big City Avenue Sunday programming, she looks forward to it every Sunday, and her most favourite is the game of Kahoot! at the end (*she wishes it would run a half hour or hour longer *)!!!! Looking forward to seeing their Summer programming return!! ????????????????
