Very nice park. Lots of benches and tables to sit at if you want to have a picnic or just hang out, very nice sceneries with flowers and other plants as well as some statues. My favourite thing about the park is the big water fountain that sits in the river close to the edge of the park that shoots water up into the air.

Now that fall has arrived reham Park is quieter than in the summer. The attraction of the fountain in the Detroit River has been removed for the winter season. The vegetation is also hunkering down for the winter. All that being said, on a sunny day there is still an attractive quality about the park and many people still enjoy the walk and the scenery along the river. The Freighters are also still making their way up and down the river. No matter what the season I suggest you take it in. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I love the gardens and the walk by the water. The parking in the little lot can get busy but the lot just before it is great.love that they have the compass at the park...we sure love pointing out Detroit is North of us.

Gorgeous park. There's a path along the water and along a beautiful garden closer to Riverside. Lots of benches and picnic tables. Open areas are suitable for a pick up soccer game. There is a new table tennis table there, but there is always a breeze, so I'm not sure how that will work out.

Great weather, sunny. Water level is pretty high, upto the sidewalk, though wind is pretty calm. The peace fountain is being installed. Wife and I had a pretty nice walk along the water and thru park. It's pretty busy with people, but not crowded.

Peace fountain, Detroit skyline ,beautifully grommed gardens and ice-cream at the end of the paths. This park has always been a wonderful place to visit. The walking paths are wide and full of beautifully grommed gardens, many varieties of plants to see and more than 10 are even shaped like animals. The water is always so nice to see and very cool to watch boats, helicopters and freighter transport ships go by. You can look right at the Detroit skyline and see all the buildings. There is also nice plaques to read up about the local history of the area. Go for the walk and really enjoy yourself, sit on a bench or even under the shade of some trees for a picnic.
