The Park has a magical way of making you feel 100 miles away from the city of Windsor/Essex area, and your one with nature. On any given day, like today, cold and a bit of snow, you will see all kind of different birds. And, you can even have them eat right out of your hand. For a nice brisk walk and getting fresh air this is the place to be.

NICE PIECE OF ROAD TO DRIVE ON AT NIGHT. IN MEXICO!!!!!!!!!!!

Dom Watts

Awesome place to walk. Our dogs really enjoy it as well and the deer come right up to you too! Be aware of people with off leash dogs here if you bring dogs of your own.

Heather Livingstone

I went here regularly for some time and quite enjoyed myself. The bathrooms are well kept and there are many insects and amphibians behind glass to observe and read about. The trails are plesent and easy to navigate. They did offer some programs for homeschool students at one point in time, but I am no longer sure if they are doing so.

Dave Wood

A complete treasure on the outskirts of town

Yen Le

Amazing stop before getting to Talbot highway from Windsor. Great display or the huge variety of nature in the region, better than a school course definitely. We also enjoyed the walk in the woods a lot and lots. Highly recommended!

Katie Baby

We saw deer , racoons, chipmunks, birds and more.

Milan Ciganović

Nice place to go on a walk of any length or duration. There's always animals to see, and people are friendly and respectful when on the trails.

Mark Nenadov

Great in many ways. One way in which it is very unique (among many other ways) is that it provides a great INDOORS view of bird feeders. There aren't many public places where you can watch birds in the rain without getting wet.

Eric Broughton

Still needs evergreens for wildlife, like cedar as food for deer, etc...

Small informative nature centre. Items for sale are a bit pricey. Good size natural wooded land. Many birds can easily be viewed and animals/snakes/fish in their natural habitat. Nice place to walk. Many people attend several times a week to take pictures. Quiet peaceful place

A large space with preserved wildlife. The natural reserve is abundant with wildlife including both animal and plant kingdom. The trails are rugged and muddy throughout while the difficulty level is easy/beginner. The reserve is easy to explore and deer sightings are the surprising gifts within the park. A natural, peaceful forest amidst the busy city. This place needs to be protected and preserved for generations to come.

Mark Smith

A real gem. One of Windsor's best features. A beautiful oak Savannah setting with a trail suitable for families. Good bird viewing and lots of deer for kids to watch. The centre is excellent with live snakes and turtles as well as other displays for education purposes. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Love the facility. Had my daughter's first birthday party there. Great programs; helpful, friendly and highly knowledgeable staff such as Tom Preney that identifies many creatures to the delight of my 5 year old son. Just this week in Florida, we had to stop to take a picture of some fungus for "Mr. Tom" to see. I highly recommend this seemingly free hidden gem in Windsor. Take a hike on the trails, buy or bring a little bit of bird seed and have birds come feed from your had during the winter. Plus, if you have your own bird feeders, you can buy bird seed here.

It's educational for school groups, there's nature trails, picnic area, inside has snakes and listings of birds. You can observe the birds from the window inside or from outside. People can go for a walk to see the pond and look for frogs, or snakes along the trail, can listen for the birds and might even spot a deer.

Rick Bartel

Nice scenery...lots of wildlife. Wish they had longer trails, but this is an oasis...

It's a simple park, but well kept and full of wildlife. The birds are used with people and if you're lucky they might eat seeds and nuts from your hand. A great place to walk on the trails and sight some animals like, white tail deers, foxes, racoons, groundhogs, squirrels, birds, bats, owls, and more. It's a simple place, but I love it!

Great for an hour long walk or jog into woods with opportunities for seeing deer, and other small forest animals. Close to Windsor via EC ROW, Hwy 18. This is a great natural park area in the Windsor Essex region. Loaded with dear and plenty of other tasty wildlife. Like many parks though hunting and eating the wildlife is prohibited so you are going to have to go the poaching route if you really can't find tasty wildlife anywhere else. The staff at the nature center put on some incredible classes for kids and many of the local schools schedule visits here as well. One of the local gems and a must see.
