We live in London, equal distance to both Adventure Bay Water Park in Windsor and Fallsview Water Park in Niagara. We have been to both parks. They are both excellent water parks and worth the two hour drive. I have recommended both parks to my friends who have families. They are equivalent with the exception that the Adventure Bay admission is $20 less expensive. So if you are on a budget Adventure Bay is a better value.
Great indoor water park. They have lockers to put your stuff in. U can buy locker locks at the entrance (the one u use at school with code) for $10 or just buy or bring your own lock.. also recommend to call the park for open hours Bec the one online is not always accurate..they schedule changes when they have special events or holidays. U can also bring your own snacks/food and they have seating areas also on the top area of the park.
I great place to bring the kids didn't chase me this morning until I was taking them The Adventure Water Park
Great place for families. Adventure Bay and Canon Cove (upstairs) are great for kids. Gym and pools on the other side for drop ins and/or members.
Great place for our family to go. We don't have anything like this in our home town so it's great to have this only about an hour away.
So much fun! We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was nice and quiet! Kids could go on everything without waiting! The place was clean and the staff was great!
We have five kids and we love it we're here all summer long even the wife goes in with them summer passes can't beat it.... bathrooms could be cleaner always smelling like pee
Had a lot of fun! The staff are friendly to deal with too.
Great place. Extra safe, but more rules and life guards than customers though. So many rules in fact that it only gets 3 stars instead of 5. Also, I got severe athelets foot in their looker room. Needs a couple hot tubs. Life guards way overly anal bunch of kids. You have to be over 36" to go down the kids slides and 40" for bigger slides. No prorate even when purchasing half season pass half way through there year. No refund. With that said its still fun enough for my two year old that we will buy another seasonal pass next year. Maybe...
Family had a great time, spent over 3 hours there. Staff were nice. Went on Good Friday, not much of waiting lines, especially if you go after 6pm, there was no wait for the slides.
This is the best water park ever!! The big blue slide (the python) and the big yellow slide (master blaster) are a little scary at first but once you get used to it, its going to be the only slides you want to ride. The lazy river, and the wave pool are a lot of fun too, though most of the time very crowded. The hot tub in the very back is very relaxing and great for water polo. But walking up to the slides is very tiring but once you get up there its worth it. This is one of the funest places to go in Windsor!
Kids love, love love it here. Great price compared to Great Wolf Lodge which you have to pay through the nose to go to!! Best attraction for kids in Windsor. Water is warm, lots of slides for all ages ????
My family and myself had the best time ever we stayed for 6 hours and didn't want to leave but I had already made plans for the evening... This was my first visit and I'm so looking forward to going back.
A quick 25-30 minute drive from metro Detroit. Perfect for my kids of 8 and 10 to enjoy for a couple of hours. We love going in the winter time especially.
It's a fun place to go. The water slides are large enough to be fun for all ages and there's lots to do. Wait times for slides on a busy day are about 15 min tops.
Great local place to have some water park fun! Staff is fun and obviously enjoy their jobs, they even play along with the kids and make it fun. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that parking is terrible, but still worth it.
So fun to be with your family and the slides are soo fun also very safe
Great family place, make sure to bring food and eat outside of water park. Cost is sufficient, lots of fun for all
Experienced this FUN and awesome water park a year ago when passing through Windsor!! Sad we were unable to visit this year... praying for this business not to be shut down ???? LOTS of fun for all
Kids absolutely love this place. Reasonably priced day of fun for the family.
UPDATED REVIEW 1 year review the good the bad the fun. The Good: The park is very well cleaned and maintained as best as possible. Alot of the staff are pretty awesome* (see subsection about issues). Water chlorine is at a tolerable level / Wave pool has highest and can sting your eyes sometimes. lots of unique and hard found water rides in Canada. The Fun: Flowrider - standing surf simulation (PRO'S BE AWARE, YOU MUST TAKE A 2 CLASS MIN TO DO STANDING - WATER OF RIDE IS AT VERY LOW SPEEDS 20KPH.) Master Blaster - Very unique and cool ride that shoots you upwards! Python - big tubes and a big slide into a very suprising outside part. Lazy River - usally pretty warm but can get crowded sometimes. The Bad: FOOD PRICES: price to quality is sub average but if you need a snack or pizza for the kids its there...I guess. Issues with Staffing: Dont get me wrong I LOVE the staff here most are really awesome and helpful or just high energy to get you pumped up. My only gripe is that some staff are either not trained adequetly for specific rides ( looking at you flowrider) personally I think staff who operate the Flowrider need to be more trained as to prevent injuries but also understand that this is a ride about skill, alot of the staff do not understand or have proper knowledge on the sport that is waveriding a high trill / skilled based ride that only works if its oprated properly and have an open mind on tricks as this is what the machine is made for. Not to mention the savings in cost of having to buy new boards every month because of poor trainning. Overall I love this place the staff are awesome the food is expensive buts in the end you leave feeling like you had lots of fun and meet lots of cool people,,sometimes.
Best water park I've ever been too. We live in the States but drive the hour just to go here. So many fun slides and activities. Definitely recommend!
Always fun. We had special passes to go with the Girl Guides, which made the cost reasonable...otherwise I'm not sure I could afford to take my family.
Great for adults (too) with a lazy river, wave pool, and slides that two-to-four people can go down on an innertube together, on. Highly recommend for a small getaway If you come late (after 6) they Some times give discounted rates!
Water park was great. Food stand was terrible. 17 for lukewarm microwave pizza. 3.75 for hot dog with stale bun. 45 minutes to order and 20 more to get food after cutting ahead of others waiting.
What you get for the cost is hard to beat. Even the canteen prices are less than the typical amusement park insanity. Worth the trip into Windsor for a little family trip! We have been here several times now and every visit is as good as the last. It gets a lot of bonus points for not being very busy, especially when compared to something like GWL.
It's so much fun here when you have younger children for sure. I do have to say that if you do have an injury on this property, your shoulda coulda woulda's, will be met with direct attention without prejudice. There is are many programs and support available and information is widely available. Inquiries can be made by the staff there with direction. Also this a place where your children are safe though you do still have to be responsible and respectful when visiting.
Really nice water park. Quite clean. I recommend packing for a picnic just outside the park. The food was quite pricey, next time we'll only buy snacks.
We've always had a good time here. My kids have attended from the ages of 3-9.. there is something for everyone really. Its a clean, well run facility. Patrons and staff are always friendly.
It is a great family place, clean and well staffed with plenty of lifeguards on duty. Kids up to teens frequent here and they all have a good time. Make sure to bring a lock for the lockers and come early as tables/chairs are extremely limited. Last, I highly recommed that you do not purchase your food here as my experience has been undercooked items, tasteless fries, cold and even half frozen hot dogs, no condiments available and all very expensive; plus very slow service. I would downgrade from 4 to 3 stars because of the food but given that the focus is not cuisine but rather the waterpark, I will leave as 4.
Great place to enjoy some water entertainment and slides with the family or with kids. The one-time admission prices are cost prohibitive, so buying a year's membership makes much more sense if you plan on going more than a couple times per year. The place has a lot to offer.
Nice water park! The outdoor pool is great! Washrooms/shower room/change areas are clean. Convenient if you are staying at Sheraton because of the walkway. Would recommend!
Rides are fun and all, fun trip with the kids, but it's very hard to breathe and humid
Such a great place for kids of all ages. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff too! Great way to spend the day with the family.
This place is amazing and worthy of a trip in and of itself. They need to advertise more outside of Windsor... I live in Waterloo and only heard PDF it because of my parents. Meanwhile I get Great Wolf Lodge info all the time. We spend > 4 hours each time we go.
Pros: Nice waterpark Lifeguards on duty Opens early, at 10am. Friendly staff Great for the kids to burn off excess energy Cons: Paid parking, if you can find a space. Very overpriced. Even worse if you dont live in windsor Also the slides are not open until later in the day. If you watch for cheap days, come early and can get parking, its worth it.
We went to adventures bay only because the hotel is next door and the hotel itself didnt have the greatest pool. At first going in to the building and "on deck" the place looks awesome! Cool slides for the kids and just a great looking place..for a child. As a parent it was a little different. First of all I went to the family bathroom with my youngest and there was fecal matter on the ground by the toilet!! So gross!! The tables were filthy! Why have the option of eating "on deck" seems messy and clearly to much for the staff to hand even during the slow times! You want to eat, leave the deck! Second the chlorine is so high it left chemical burnes on my husbands legs which is why we left! Actual open wounds! My older child had a rash on their upper back and my toddler had a rash on the water diaper line on their back! So many great alternatives instead of chlorine these days that it would be a great idea to think about, not only for the paying customer but for the employees that work there ALL THE TIME (lung cancer in 5 years??). Lastly the slides are awesome but when you finally get up to the top after the hike up and your child is told they are "to short sorry" it makes it confusing when the time before it wasnt questioned at all. Why not measure and put a coloured wrist band on at the payment and entrance kiosk instead to start with. Less confusion and heartack. Adventures bay you can try a little harder lots of potential you just need to clean it up!!
Great fun but gym membership is kinda expensive but all In all the surfing an swimming pools a awesome
Clean, well equipped, great value against the fee, especially there is a discount if you are coming with Windsor residents.
If you love to slide, it’s a must-checkout! Last time I went to a similar place was ages ago so it really brought me joy, almost zero complaints. Bring your own lock if you carry anything valuable or just leave it unlocked in the locker or whatever.
So much family fun to be had here; with friendly accommodating staff and plenty of variety of activities for all ages! Happy to recommend to anyone. Also the prices of both day pass and membership are very reasonable!
We were there mid-week and found it to be great fun! It was cleaner than most water parks and the slides were surprisingly entertaining even for 4 teens! Very good value as well.
Great destination place for kids. Right across the road from the river, though parking can be limited. Pricing is comparable to any other waterpark.
It's ok, there are only some slides and some places to go. I have the year pass and it gets kinda boring after the 2nd-3rd month... Please add more stuff...
Great place to take your kids. Even your husband if you want to watch him try and surf!
Very fun for the kids!
Fun, family time. Lots of "rides" and sections. But options in terms of "things to do" are limited, and hence the 4 stars. Has lots of potential to be more trendy and happening, while being kid and family friendly. Must visit though, especially for kids
Is starting to look run down. Raft lift wasn't working. Unrepaired baby swings, bathrooms/ change rooms were filthy, yet the price has gone up. I couldn't believe how much it cost for myself and my two children.
Food was good, but the portions were a bit small. I ordered a fish-only dinner (no chips and no salad) and the piece of fish I got was pretty small for being $13. It sure was tasty though. Not a lot of batter, and obviously fresh.
The surfing is really awesome! The instructor was fantastic! The water park is fairly average though and I wasn't always comfortable with the cleanliness level.
Awso.e place would recomend to anyone with or without children only gave 4 stars just because I'm not really all that big on getting wet lol
Im very disappointed at this pool. There is no recreational swims during the summer. I pay for a swim pass and adventure bay should be included in the recreational swim pass. isn't that why they wanted to close all the pools and just have this one in the first place? The temperature of the water of the pool is nice, and generally staff is pretty nice, but I was highly disappointed at the fact that they do not have recreational swimming. The last time they had it in 2017 was amazing, you should bring that back.
Great waterpark. Our favorite was roller coaster slide. But food service was horrible. I was waiting for hotdog and fries for over 30 min.
Kids love coming here. Looking forward to purchasing the summer pass. Only down side is there not available until July 1st
Great time! Our kids from 3 to 10 had a blast. Clean facilities, friendly staff.
Lots of fun for all the family. Splash pad and water slides. Be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs. Totally worth it though.
Very fun park with many water activities for all ages. The Wave pool was nice and warm. The waves were pretty big and fun for my daughter (2) and niece who is 5. There are lockers and life vests there but do bring a lock. Many lockers are damaged unfortunately, hopefully they can repair that. The water slides were fun and they have some for younger kids as well. There were a few bandaids floating around as well in the pool... Many in front of the life guard; maybe they should have someone check every few hours and pick them up for sanitary reasons with some gloves.
i like this place ive been to this place and its fun highly reccomend it!
Expensive, especially the food. Luckily the son really likes the ball/play set "Cannon Cove" which is $5 and we sneak in beverages. Clean facility.
Great place but far too expensive
We were there for 5 hours with a grandma, 5 year old, 3 year old and an Aunt. Everyone had fun. Great place to visit.
It's really fun I go with my dad and my cousin and I like swimming there they have great food and great service I give this 5 stars
It's a nice indoor water park for little ones, teens, and adults. The wave pool and multiple slides keep the kids entertained. Lighting could be better but certainly not a deterrent to visiting.
It’s the wonderful place for all water fun one can think of.
My kids love coming here. We come over from Detroit pretty often. I like that it is not overwhelmingly big. I feel like I can let my kids wander yet still see them. The lifeguards are very vigilant in their duties and look to take their job seriously. The concession stand is reasonably priced. Lots to do for the big and little.
Food was good but a bit over priced, fries were $4.00 and tasted like they were cooked yesterday and reheated today, hot dog was decent wasn’t the best but still tasted ok. A lot of water slide so the kids can enjoy But overall experience it was good for an outings with the family.
A fun place to bring your kids for a couple of hours. Lots of table available for parents to sit while kids run around.
Great fun for the family, but must comment on the subordination on behalf of the select few employees, by completely neglecting to intervene and assist in the ceasing of line-cutters. It was really an issue I must admit and hopefully is addressed by staff in time before I possibly return for a another visit.
Great water Park, its very cool for kids, My kids enjoyed a lot in this place so much fun here very well setup!! Nice
The water park is new and modern looking but there is no parking included with your visit which is downtown location. So u can park on the street and feed the meters. I put in $4 which maxed out at 2 hours. With the time it takes to change and dry off a family - that's pretty tight on time. So of course when we got to our car 20 minutes after the meter expired the city was kind enough to have a parking ticket waiting for us. ????
Staff are great! The place is a blast too. Not too expensive. Kids and parents had a great time!
We represent Ready Set Go drop in center for families with children 6 and under. Our families had a wonderful time. Many of them had new been there and were sure they would return. In fact I can’t wait to go back with friends and try the monster slides!
Tons of fun! Many slides for younger children and 3 larger slides for older kids. Lazy River, Wave Pool, they even have one of those body surfing places! I do wish we didnt have to wait as long for tubes for the yellow slide, but overall, this place is fantastic! I recommend this place for toddlers to teens (teens should bring a friend, there isnt much to do alone).
Lots of fun. Its just as good as The Great Wolf Lodge in Niagra Falls. The body boarding is awesome and easy to get the hang of. Its just as fun as skiing or snowboarding but much cheaper. The earlier you go the smaller the lines. Mid week is better too. If you live in Windsor its extreemly afordable but still not overpriced if you dont.
I love this cozy waterpark. I've been working here as a lifeguard for just 3 weeks and it's really awesome. The decor is really sweet and tropical themed. It's very well taken care of too; the attractions are always being checked and maintained. And it has a Flo Rider! Which is really cool and fun. Love this place.
The facility is clean, tidy and affordable. The option of using Canon Cove is great especially in winter months.
Honestly in general Windsor may seam to be a quiet town but it’s actually a really chill place to visit with Family. I love coming here every time really enjoyed the Waterpark if your into that cool theme park. Highly recommend the Water surf thing. ???????? There’s probably more kids than Adults tbh.. but all in all a really great experience to take family.
Great place for kids to have fun! As an adult you can have fun by going on some of the bigger water slides. You should also try body boarding at the FlowRider surf simulator. The one thing I hate is the chlorine! The smell and chemicals really bother me.
Fun indoor water park for a cool fall day. It's just big enough that my 9 year-old goddaughter did not lose interest for the 2 hours we were there, and there was lots to do in her age range with other activists that would be more enjoyable for older and younger children. She especially enjoyed the large yellow water slide, which we could go on together on a 2-person innertube, once she worked up the courage. I feel like you could spend the whole day there and be very entertained. We went on a Sunday morning and almost had the whole place to ourselves. Make sure you bring a lick of you want to use a locker. I did not realise they had switched from the key system and had to but one there. It's also nice that they sell for right in the park. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There were a lot of life guard on duty, so it is very safe.
Had a fantastic day there. Lots of fun for the whole family. I just wish that we didnt have to carry the large rafts up the flights of stairs. Kids would have gone on the yellow slide about double or more the actual times they went but i couldnt carry 2 rafts for the 3 of us up the stairs anymore.
Phenomenal indoor water park. Very well kept, lots of enjoyable water attractions. Perfect for younger kids with at least half the park dedicated to kids under 12.
It is one of the best place to spend some quality time for family. People working there are so friendly and cheerful.
You're getting charged for full month place is closed at least few times a month . Worth it if U live close by not worth the drive . It's pretty clean , friendly all around .
The water slides were great. We had fun
Staff are friendly, water is warm, place is absolutely clean, prices are affordable, worth it for season pass. Good job "City of Windsor "
Taylor at the front desk is *Borat voice* "veryyy niceeee". Great addition to the front desk. I'd also like to say thanks to Shane the life guard for being very accommodating. Good couple dudes , I'd come back for sure
My son loves to swim they every time we go he improves on his swimming they have a lazy river as well as a wave pool and a regular pool with three slides and a surfers ride and u can say there is more a couple tube rides and a hole play ground with many things my son loves to run around even a cannon ball play ground it's the dryest place around and a cafe my son love to swim
Cool place, nice pool, they have the Flowrider thing (it's not for everyone). It gets hot and humid inside the pool. Two floors, diving towers, 3 meter, 10 meter jumps, multiple swimming lanes, equipped to handle Olympic competitors, cameras, events, ceremonies. Located in a nice quiet area close to downtown Windsor. I don't think you will be disappointed, so check it out.
Wow this park, I was looking to go to great wolf lange but this is still good too just like Great wolf but no hotel I wish they added a hotel and better food quality but good job for now
Took my family and had a blast. Surprisingly priced fair and had fun all day long. Will be back soon.
It wasn't too busy on Canada day and the price was great. Although most of the lockers were either bolted shut or had a zip tie thru them.
It's fun and all but the water is disgusting and it breads infections. i got some of the water up my nose and in my eyes and the NEXT day, i started experiencing symptoms of strep throat and pink eye. Never going here again. also, sorry for my display name and the account picture. this is generally the account that i use for commenting on youtube videos and stuff like that
Decent place to spend a few hours. I thought it would have been bigger than it was, everything was crammed in. Washrooms/changing areas were freezing. Water was warmer than most pools which was nice. Unfortunately many of the patrons are rude, and oblivious.
The water park is kinda gross. Very strong chlorine smell. But upper dry play area is great. Lots of room for parents to sit, too.
Not great not terrible either. Its fun for the kids not so much for adults, it gets old quick. The food was nice though! we had pizza and it was very cheesy.
Way over priced!!! Coast $50 for me and daughter to get in. The online prices were wrong and did not include tax. Also they closed down the cheep one in the neighborhood and no one who lives need by can a Ford to get in. If you can afford it then expect your car to get damaged or broken into because the kids in the neighborhood can't afford to get in. What is wrong with this city it is like they want crime rate to go up!!!
This is one of the best indoor water park which we have visited as a family. Our 5 year old had a really good time. He insisted us to go again so we went there twice on our three day stay. Such a wonderful place for children to spend 4 to 5 hours easily.
Great place locally to have fun. The water slides are pretty great. The lazy river is quite relaxing to drift around in. The wave pool is about what you'd expect as well. The food could use some work, but other then that the place is great! Highly recommended to anyone living locally.
I really love everything in the water park, except for the Python because I don’t like the feeling of when I go backwards.
Super fun family place! Highly recommend
Such a fun place to visit, many large and thrilling slides, a lazy river, manufactured surfing wave and wave pool, all indoors! You can get a pass to use all of the facilities or a "Land Lover" pass for cheaper if you just want to watch the fam from the deck.
Great place, great price. The staff is very welcoming. The lifeguards are very alert and it was so clean! It runs so smoothly and has something for everyone. So worth crossing the border for. Thanks Ontario!
This is a far more affordable option than going to Great Wolf Lodge. Sure, they don't have everything, but for a city run spot it is great! We made the trip down from KW and thought it was great. Got there at opening and it was dead. We essentially had the place to ourselves. The one issue we had was that someone cut their foot and instead of having the person sit down they pointed out where first aid was... So, they walked -with a cut foot - across the pool deck. The other issue is that they need more tubes. Otherwise a great place.
Adventure Bay is a very fun place to bring children. There are a number of water slides and tube rides. There is also a lazy river and a large area for young children with a wading pool, small slides, and sprinklers. There is also an area which mimics waves allowing for surfing! There is a fair amount of public parking which is not expensive. We paid $5 for several hours. The staff are friendly and helpful. This seems to be an exceptionally well run City of Windsor facility which is worth the trip!
Great family day out! We have been visiting two or three times a year from out of town for a while now. The park has a lot of fun features and friendly staff. It is also heavily staffed with lifguards in every area of the park imaginable. Only beef is that the food is expensive and not great quality for the price you pay. The menu boards are big screen TVs. Which is great... but the menu is a power point presentation that is horribly slow to watch. Just display the menu..
Good place to have some family water fun. The kids loved it.
I don't really understand why it costs so much in a city with a dwindling economy. Maybe make it more affordable, or much larger for the price. Would rather drive the distance to Kalahari and make it worth the cost of admission.
Went here for my son's birthday a while back and thought it was great. It's not cheap to get in but is a quality facility. The mini surf/ body board pool is awesome fun. At times it can be very busy. Nice to have a place like this fairly local |-/
The place is nice and big and lots to do but th Price wow. $ 12-$18 at the most from being under 42" & over 42" tall for prices and it depends on what time period you go there. What is this of charging $5.00 just to sit there and Watch your kids swim from the sideline.
Amazing place to bring your family! Lots to do and lots of fun. Be careful thought, the floor in this place is really slippery. Walk slowly and you'll be fine
Great place to bring the kids especially on a cold winter day. Staff was very nice even when they had to enforce the rules when my kids weren't behaving. It was a little bit expensive but if you consider the cost of going to either Great Wolf Lodge or Kalahari it's just a fraction of that overall great place
Kids really enjoyed themselves today. Only down side was our youngest was 2 inches short for the bigger slides.
For the price it's a great place to bring the kids nice pools and park on the inside
This waterpark is great idk why some people don't like it.
Good family fun. If you intend to use the stand up board for the wave-rider, be sure to visit on a date when you can take lessons (can't ride without it)!
We had a great time at Adventure Bay; however, my $250 jacket was stolen out of our locker during the first evening of our trip. We were not aware that locks were available for purchase at the front desk until when visited Adventure Bay the following day. It is unfortunate that something like this would happen at a family-friendly place like this, but I guess it could’ve been worse. Thankfully, we took all of our phones and wallets with us into the swimming area.
Super fun place and excellent place to take smaller children! Very short walk from Town Place Suites in Windsor! Food is so-so. Acceptable, but not great. Very fun water slides, and great prices for all day entry! Get there early (10am) and have the place to yourself for a few hours!
4 stars because the food took forever and the lifeguards weren't on the same page with the height restrictions. It's hard to explain to your 18 month old why sometimes you can go down the slide and sometimes you can't.
A fun place to go. Slides are a little strict on heights especially when an adult is present, but I guess that's the way of our world now.
Pros: Great for kids of all ages, variety of slides and activities. Lots of sitting areas for everyone else. Prices pretty good. Cons: No mention anywhere or by anyone that you need your own lock for lockers. Some of the family change rooms should be cleaned more often, some are pretty gross
Our boys (1 and 3 yrs old) absolutely loved this place! We'll be back for sure!
Always a fun place to visit. The toddler area was shut down when we were there but the kids still enjoyed themselves.
More for the kids to do here then GWL. Staff and Lifeguards are very friendly and knowledgeable. Pretty clean when we were there. There were not very many lockers available in the Family changeroom.
We had the best time with our toddlers here! There is so much to do for all ages! The staff was very friendly too! My only complaint- you need several high chairs for the food area! It took us a hour to eat because we had to hold our toddlers while trying to eat our food.
It is nice place to visit. It has everything in one location and it's perfect for all family members. It has fitness center, swimming pool and adventure park and some other games for kids. If your visiting Windsor, you have to visit it once.
This experience was epic. We went for two days in a row and coming back for the long weekend. The entire family enjoyed the rides and the lazy river. So much better than the Falls View water park in Niagara Falls....for us.
Great place for the kids obviously, like the lazy river and kids loved the slides. Gave it 3 stars however because they offer no towel services, no lounge chairs and the flooring around the pools was slippery. Almost slipped and wiped out 4 times just walking.
Great fun not as many things to do as you would think ..... busy during the day ......but the height requirements were staggered nicely so lots of fun with my 4 and 7 yr old
The kids had a blast ..although it looks like it's in a crummy part of Windsor but all of Windsor is crummy lol
Great place for a day trip!! My kids had a blast! Just a heads up on a couple of things, parking is 5 bucks and bring a lock to lock your personal items. They provide locks but at a cost, which is great but if you don't want to spend the extra bring your own. Also bring your own towels. Also we did pack our own lunch but they also provide food for purchase. We enjoyed our time there and liked that it was a smaller place for my kids age 7 and 9 ????
It's a great place for kids in Windsor to have a special occasion but a little too pricey for the water park to be a regular family thing.
Not outstanding but fun to take my niece there for the day, not expensive. For the most part clean and well kept.
My husband and I took our 9 year old daughter here yesterday (were not from Windsor) and it was well worth the trip! We went after 4pm when it's cheaper and for three of us it was only $43. 4pm-8pm is plenty enough time to enjoy yourself if you want to save on cost. It was a Friday evening as well and no wait times for the slides! The place is well designed for a water park, very clean, decor is nice and staff is friendly and plenty of them. Lots of different options for all ages. Chlorine never bothered us and it didn't get to hot inside either. There is a snack bar with the basics and we did eat there, the food is nothing special but it got us by while we were there. You have to pay for parking and the lot we parked in was max of three hours but was under $4. We will definitely come back, thanks for a great time!
This was our first time at Adventure Bay. It was a great experience. The place was clean. The lifeguards seemed very alert and they were very pleasant and friendly. My family enjoyed every minute of our stay. We will definitely be returning!!!!
Fun for the kids. A little expensive for a family of four from out of town. They have some new pricing I haven't checked out yet. Supposed to be a little better.
Park was great for our 4 kids age 4 thru 9 and a decent price point. Food options at the concession could be better.
So much fun for the family at this place, make sure to go in the morning before the crowd and the summer membership deal is great
It's pretty fun, but of course there's better out there.
The waterpark was fun. Unfortunately they closed the wave pool for half an hour and that was like the only one my 3 year old wasn't afraid of. We ordered food, it was typical amusement park food but sooooo slow. I feel like a hot dog, pogo and poutine shouldn't take 20 minutes to make. It seemed like they were making 1 meal at a time instead of having a few things going on at once. Maybe hire someone that is better at multitasking
This is an amazing water park and an amazing flowrider. People there are awesome and make you feel part of the family right away. Thank you for the amazing day you gave us.
I spent the morning at Adventure Bay yesterday to attend the river water walk class. Andrew and Sabrina were excellent and the class was alot of fun. I am disabled and required the use of your wheelchair for assistance getting in and out of the pool. Unfortunately I injured my left forarm . There is a bolt and washed near the hand break. Now because I have an open cut I cannot participate in the class.
I love the early birds time in the morning for young kids, quite. Canon cove is a must every time we go to the pool.
It is a great place to relax with your family .kids are having good time after they sleep straight . we liked it .
Great for small kids, but limited slides get a bit boring after an hour for bigger kids. Very clean, and seemingly well run.
Wonderful! The kids had a blast!! It was worth every penny. Clean and fun and lost of staff making sure everyone's safe. Excellent. Birthday parties will be held here from now on!
no water park. very disappointed when me and the bois rolled up in speedos without towles but guess what, there was no service towles and I very upset for things and now me and bois very sad. Trash place don't recommend to people under the age of 85.
Taking swimming classes with my daughter and I love it. Everyone is so friendly and kind. I had to miss our last class of the class and they girl at reception wouldnt tell my instructor. Kind of felt like that was rude... she even made a comment to the effect of... I paid for it so it's my own loss to miss the class... I wasnt worried about that I just wanted him to know that she was sick and make arrangements to get her certificate. He was really nice and I felt rude missing the class.
Great waterpark but floors are super slippery! I fell, my daughter fell twice and my son fell down and the life gaurd's response was "yeah, the floors are always slippery"
This place is more for kids but its also not very clean. Been here 3 times and the last 2 were a total disappointment. Once the 1 ride is out of order and someone made a mess in the pool and the last time also someone menstrated in the pool and used it to wash herself and the lifeguards did nothing about it.
It was very nice the kids loved all the different water pools. Only problem is parking. Very expensive to park there and all around on lots. And meters only give you 2hr limit.
The new hours are not convenient because 4-8PM is dinner then bed time when you have a small child. I wish the hours would stop changing, I get that it costs a lot to staff the place but it's only been opened a couple years and already they are cutting corners and closing during the day. That being said, the staff are SUPER and the place is always spotless when it is opened.
Great visit today. Staff went above and beyond to help us out when we had a wardrobe malfunction???? could’ve wrecked our visit before it even got going. Employee hunted us up a T-shirt that fixed the problem. Thank you so much!!
This was my last visit there . Way to much money for a family to afford . No were to sit when you order food . We ate on the floor while other sat at a table with nothing . The water was cold. It is already starting to look run down .
The March break pass is very reasonable! The day pass not so much if you have a big family... but its clean and the life guards are friendly and very aware of their surroundings.. the only thing that scares me is the stairway for the slides is very congested.. too bad they cant divide them in half for designated slides.. might help a bit.. plus carrying up the mats and stuff is so dangerous.. my little one almost got knocked over a few times from other kids trying to push their way through..
Love this place. We come here because of the kids but I have a blast every time. I’m glad we have this here in Windsor
Great place to take you kids very fun would definitely recommend it to everyone the food thare is pretty good to and reasonable prices
We went there 4:30pm. The wave pool was closed as well as other small slides for the little kids. The hotdog was horrible!!! The bread was so mushy and damped. It was absolutely disgusting!! It was $4!! Never want to go back.
My family of six came tonight for the starlight time. Four hours was a perfect length of time to enjoy the park and the price was great. The park was clean and the temperature of the air and water perfect. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that the conveyor for the tubes was down so you had to carry them up the stairs yourself. Otherwise we loved everything. We will definitely be back!
Good Waterpark, but I went to ask for towels and the lifeguard said we have none. So me and all my friends had no towels to use to drive off with. So if your going here, bring your own towels.
It was AWESOME! I've been there 2 times. Once on a field trip at school and a few weeks ago!! :) The best water park I've been in.
All my family was home for the Holidays including 6 Grandchildren ranging in age from 6 to 19. Adventure Bay was a welcome activity for kids getting tired of being in enclosed spaces. A great time was had by all including 4 adult parents!! Some observations and constructive criticisms: everyone found the water temperatures to be too cold and the water pressure in the change room showers was really low making the rinsing of pool chemicals difficult. These issues are minimal in my opinion and this is a beautiful facility and a welcome addition to our area. We will return!!
Thew park is really good but the food is garbage. Do not waste the money buying food.
Kids had a ball at their birthday party here! Rather than spending a bunch of money on food and party favors and renting a room and having a birthday party that no one ever talked about, we came here and the kids had a ball saying it was the best birthday party ever! Food however was limited on the healthy choices (they were out of half the items on their menu) and service was beyond slow (10-15 min for fries). Flowrider was a hit with many along with the wave pool. Will come back again.
Kids had a great time ... Well organized ... Lots of stuff to do ... Great place to visit ... Wave pool .. flow rider ... Rides where good ... Would go back !
The waterpark itself was nice but the chlorine level today was horrific even the kids complained their eyes hurt. Lots to do but would be nice if they made it possible to walk under the kiddie area instead of all that netting. Hard to keep track of young kids on slides having to walk all the way around from the yellow to the purple and blue. The wave pool area's water was freezing cold even my kids wouldn't go in it (other water area's seemed to be fine). On the whole it was a nice place and would consider going again but not on a busy day!
It was so much fun, definitely a family place, every slide is perfect for a thrill seekers and great for every type of person. I suggest the whirring wizard for people scared of heights but, the python is pure fun .
Great place. Enjoyed it very much. But, height policy enforced whenever attendant felt like enforcing it. Son was denied after I witnessed a child smaller than him allowed in a slide. On another ride I asked if I can slide with him, they said no, but once again, about 5 minutes later, I see a dad carrying his child while going down the same ride. Poorly enforced. Not sure what that dad said but his son was definitely smaller than mine.
Had a lot of fun with my kids. If it wasn't so expensive we would go more often.
Fun and exciting attraction for kids in Windsor, we always have a blast when we go. Love the convenience of the two sided food stand as well, opening the option of eating pool side or dried off and inside the front of the establishment. My only dislike is the cleanliness in the locker rooms and pool side tend to be dirty and full of wet food, usually during the busier days so this makes sense as the staff is doing the best they can to keep up on those days!
Very expensive but a fun way to spend the afternoon, kids are 4&5 and we're tall enough for all the water slides except one. The food was not very good though.
The kids had a great time and lots of fun. They were able To do most of the slide, play and swim. After 4pm amd if you are a résident it is cheaper. The family room (shower) are really dirty, they should clean more often ( shower wall black, garbage on the floor)
Great fun for the whole family. Wonderful veiws of fhe river and Detroit. The art gallery and board walk is steps from adventure bay
Love it! Every March Break. We stay over in a hotel one night and enjoy 2 days at the park with the March Break special:)
They need to measure children and have a wristband to show that height. I had one worker say my son was fine to go on the slide then the next time a different worker was there and said he wasn't. Explaining that to a toddler is very difficult. Rules are rules, I get that but just measure them before hand is my suggestion. And warm up the water and heat as I saw alot of parents, myself as well walking around very cold. Food was good but cheese for the nachos was cold, not just "not warm enough", actually cold. Price for everything was very reasonable and we'll be back for sure!! My kids loved it as usual.
It’s a cute water park. Very safe and clean. Kids love going there. However adults have to go in the water with the kids even if they are 9 and good swimmers. The water is cold. You are not allowed to bring food or drinks . Parking is horrible and you have to pay.
I love this place. Doesn't matter how many times we've been, there are so many things that keep my kids enthralled and wanting to go back!!!
We love it. Always have a good time. just don't think adults should have to pay when they are not going in the water and just watching their kids
It was relaxing everyone minds their business the pizza its yummy. it would not hurt if the guards could at least smile ???? front desk are awesome super friendly.
Had a fantastic time there today with my family. Reasonably priced for all there is to do. The kids loved it!
We had my sons birthday at Adventure Bay today. The staff were very nice and accommodating, the facility is clean and we had such a blast!! I would definitely recommend this place for a good time.
Great water park. The concession stand has some of the worst food i have ever had. It's like they don't care enough to put any effort in. Even the pop had no flavor.
The park is lots of fun with plenty to do for kids of all ages. The waits for slides are usually not bad. The wave pool is a good size and fun for most ages. The Surf Rider standing wave is lot of fun for older kids. There are a couple of good spots through the park that are good for parents to sit and watch their kids play and the staff are friendly and helpful.
My family and I love this place. Our family went on the pumpkin event and got to swim with pumpkins, decorate them and take photos with some awesome staff members who go beyond expectations. We had a great experience we will definitely plan another visit.
This waterpark was affordable and the staff was very kind. There's no onsite parking through the park. You can find hourly parking next to the building or there is an adjacent $5 lot. The wristbands let you come in an out as needed the whole day. There was something fir everyone here. The children's playground equipment was entertaining and we loved the surfing experience. Bring your own towels.
Great place, not very busy, even on a Saturday. My only feedback is as follows: the wait for hot food was 15 minutes (after ordering), and although my son is 36 inches (36 1/2) when I measure him, when he stood against the measuring board at the park, it placed him at an inch or 2 too short. as a result, he wasn't allowed to ride the toddler slides (he's a petite 3 year old). I wish they would have measured him at the entrance (with accuracy). had I known he wouldn't be able to ride the slides with his friends, I would have waited a few months before attending.
Great indoor water park! Brought my 2 and a half year old daughter and she loved it!
Wish they'd spent a bit more time making this park the one the city deserved, with very few slides the price tag isn't always worth it. Deals and summer passes make it one of the only things to do with kids. More slides needed. Perhaps a hot tub?
Too expensive it would have cost me $75 just for 4 people even just the party rooms are even expensive! I mean it's a great place once a while.
Decent water park but terribly run. They don’t allow you to bring food into the water park so you have to buy it from the vendor inside the park that only has a single guy running the till. We had to wait in line for over an hour to get food, it was insane. Also, the tube slides only have a couple of tubes so it manufactures unnecessarily extra long lineups and waits for 2 of the 3 major slides. Bad experience all around, won’t be back.
Fun for adults and kids. My daughter has a ball every time we go
