Very pleasant Boardwalk but parking is too expensive. Many shops have closed due to pay parking. Most Shops and Restaurants have closed.

Nice walk on the pier! Would not recommend going on a rainy day as it is very wet, windy and cold. Great place to bring friends visiting for a quick tourist stop while getting some fresh seafood, oysters or fish and chips around! Great chill place by the seaside!

Great little place for a walk, good shops and restaurants, when tide is out you can walk on the sand. There are public washrooms. Pay car parking with credit card etc.

This place is my favourite spot in the summertime. It’s a beautiful beach with a vintage feel. There’s lots of great restaurants along the sides of the road, and it makes the perfect place to spend an evening. I personally love coming here in the winter time too, so long as it’s sunny out. Just ensure that you’re well covered because it gets incredibly breezy. Lastly the pier has great parking (which is normally free during the Holidays) but terrible bus connections.

Absolutely amazing historically, never a bad experience there. It gets VERY cold and windy so dress warm or don't plan to be there long, I unfortunately go stand there and look for birds so the cold can get pretty rough! Only complaint would be sketchy is an understatement in regards to covid! If you're immune compromised or without a vaccine, it is not the place to be.

December 31, 2021. Last day of 2021 what a year. We were here in the summer when it was much warmer but this was a nice sunny ???? day even though it was cold ????. Still a great walk even in the winter ❄️. It’s a nice long walk that is wide with lots of room. There are benches to relax on. Love this beach/park. It’s got scenic views, nice walkway and beaches to enjoy. There are public washrooms available. As part of the White Rock area there are stores and restaurants close by. The famous White Rock Pier is accessible from the walkway at White Rock. This is a beautiful setting and you will definitely enjoy coming here and enjoying a relaxing stroll ???????? or picnic or a swim ???? in the ocean.

I have always asked myself, how long is the White Rock Promenade. It stretches from Finlay St. to Bay St. I counted approximately 4100 steps and is around 2.2 kms long, one way. If walking from home, walk the pier and return on the promenade, my step count is over 10,000. Nice.

Such an awesome place to catch a sunrise and walk around. The pier is clean and the lights that change colours on the arches of the pier are fantastic. Can't wait until the construction is done on the walkways (a little noisy), but then again....so are all the seagulls! Lol
