Went there at 1am...awesome beautiful night pier is amazing well lite made this guy who cant swim comfortable...great locals playing some music great environment..
A really relaxing place and such a nice view
Went here on a beautiful sunny day...3 star rating. Could use more areas of shade, but all in all a good experience.
A good place to visit. The view from the dock is beautiful. We could see mountains on one side and the city on the other side, which was a special sight to see.
Great tourist or day out with the family location. Lots of accessible parking and bathrooms along the beach. They have COVID-19 measures in place that are for the most part followed along the sidewalks and paths. Vendors are out currently too! Only sketchy part was the pier where people were not social distancing.
The view on the white rock is amazing and I suggest coming here when night falls
Beautiful scenery, great restaurants, I want to live here.
Always a pleasure, great spot for locals and tourists alike in either rain or shine!
The longest pier - it's a nice walk even on a blustery day. You can see the white rock and read a lot of local history along the way. We did not have time to walk to the rock.
Nice lights along the pier. Great place for a walk!
Super nice. Just sad that the white rock was vandalized:(
Wonderful place to just relax and walk around
Loved it here so much. The atmosphere is beyond beautiful.
Beautiful town on a beautiful day. Teenagers diving off the pier, bars and bistros open and welcoming. Fine place to visit.
An amazing walk during any season it's beautiful
Love to walk around this area and view of sunset is stunning here
This is a city that leaves you with the sense that it's a coastal village in the winter. I imagine in the summer it would be complete chaos, but in the evening close to winter the foot traffic gives you the sense that a tiny village dwells here, the people smile and walk casually never seeming to be in a rush, while the store fronts are open and inviting. The traffic in the summer and warmer months must be ridiculously hectic! But our day, a few days before christmas this oceanfront area is very welcoming.
The rock itself is... well... it's a rock. The view of the ocean on the other hand is great and is a great place for both dates and family adventures! Make sure to walk down the pier
Nice section of stores. Lots of pay parking. Good beach and long pier.
Beautiful and very long (longest in Canada as they say on the sign) pier. Worth a visit. Lots of little shops too. Very close to the US border with beautiful views of Mount Baker.
Great place to walk around and a bunch of nice shops and restaurants.
Beautiful place to visit, any season, no matter the weather.
Lovely place and such cold breeze ????
White Rock is an iconic place and a must visit for anyone visiting the Greater Vancouver area. It has amazing restaurants just beach facing, where you can dine in during normal times but even during COVID restrictions you can takeout food and then eat it alone on the beach or public seating places.
Love this city so much. its becoming so busy so many sky rises yet the same infustructure and emergency services. The beach is amazing the restaurants that have stuck around are the only good ones.. all the others are garbage.
Beautiful place so many things to enjoy and look at I highly recommend. Very nice tourist attraction
Great beach area, lots of restaurants and shops.
A beautiful city to visit. Enjoyable beach, quiet sea, amazing views. Great food also, many different options to try. Love this place!
Lovely place to chill and watch life go bye
Went for a beautiful walk down by the big white rock masks on as always skipped a couple rocks on water for fun saw some cool things along the way
Words can never describe the sheer beauty of White Rock. The pier was so amazing it's was breathtaking. The beach and surrounding area is clean with large sidewalks for everyone to enjoy taking in the ocean right before us. The huge "White Rock" that sits just off the shore was pretty neat. We are so lucky to live in British Columbia it truly is one of the most beautiful places on earth. If you are travelling to BC this is a place you should put in the agenda to at least spend the day you won't regret it.
If you are in White Rock, go check out the actual white rock. The pier is open again after being ravaged by a crazy storm a while ago, which really just goes to show that you should not take ANYthing for granted!! Grab some fish and chips, chill and enjoy!! While me and my lovely mummins were here, there was some sort of celebration of life where some peeps waded out into the water and lit off some full-moon fireworks. Truly. Magical. #synchronicity is REAL!
Lovely spot with a great view day and night. Also a lot of nice restaurant around.
When the sky meets the water. The sea inhabits the land of calm. Find yourself a time of rest and relaxation in this place
One of the best placea to visit. Had very less time but still went there. The bus services are a bit slow but you will still enjoy being there. Walked on the beach and spent time there. You can also collect shells and pearls there. A lot of places to eat nearby. The view is beautiful and must to visit place if you are tourist in British Columbia.
World's Longest Pier, great place to visit. Great view, relaxing, enjoyable, scenery, peaceful, dinning, eating, street vendors, sweets. #WorldsLongestPier #WhiteRockBeach #WhiteRockPier #Pier #Sunset #LowTide #Crabbing #Food #LocalBusiness #LocalBusinesses #Ocean #PacificOcean #BC #BristishColumbia #Canada #YourCanada #MyCanada #2021
The white Rock and pier or a wonderous landmark of White Rock, the city by the sea! Enjoy walking along the beach, walk the promenade, and enjoy a stroll on Canada's longest pier!! Take in beautiful views and the sweet salty smell of the ocean. Plenty of eats to enjoy for the foodie (whether your a sweet tooth, comfort foodie or prefer the savory), gorgeous spot for beach goers and relaxing meditative spot for your walk or run. Also where the Polar Plunge is held each year this year having marked the 50th anniversary! It is a place that will give you memories to cherish each time you visit, and keep you wanting to come back!
Very cool place for walk along the sea ( on pedestrian sidewalk)!
Definitely a place to go when passing through the area, lots of history there!
Beautiful place to enjoy sunsets.....
Really the ideal place to go in fancy dresses in the middle of the night to run down the stairs and walk the pier. Feel like the main character again. Pier gets really slippery when it's cold, but that's okay. I haven't been during the day for years, but it's nice then too. Pay parking only takes credit card or cash ????
A friendly place to go for a stroll, enjoy a meal or a snack, or grab a drink and relax. Too many excellent icecream and gelato stores to mention, excellent for keeping the waits short.
Beautiful backdrops for pictures. Pier is damaged because of the recent ferocious wind storm. Many boats still washed up on to the beach.
I've been climbing this rock for 40 years and I can still do it! Woo-hoo.
Awesome place to go for walk that offer spectacular view of the ocean. Good for kids and family. They have public washroom, picnic tables and benches. At the pier area is quite busy. Everywhere on the area is pay parking. Great place to catch and enjoy the sunset. ????????????
This place is a great walk along the beach. Lots of room. To walk off the path and enjoy some great ocean scenery. Will always go here for a walk rain or shine.
I love love love White Rock! Beautiful walk near ocean, pier, birds.. restaurants... day or night, it's amazing especially because of all the lights.. and I believe this is a place to show off if you have a cool car.. like a car promenade.
Great place to visit, lots of fish and chips, shops and long board walk. When the tide is out. You can play with the kids on the sand. Paid parking. So bring a blanket and pinic lunch.
It’s a rock ???? and it’s painted white. There is an interesting information panel explaining the history of the rock. Otherwise there is not much else here at this section of the beach. It’s easily accessible from the White Rock promenade. There are washroom facilities available nearby.
It's worth the trip if it's just to see the iconic white rock, take a walk out on the pier, hang out on the beach, take in the beautiful scenery or walking the strip ....it's just a beautiful place to visit
This is a great place to go for a walk with your family, by yourself or with friends. Also, there is the beach!! A fantastic place too! The walkway is approximately 1.5 miles long. The pier is being recorded as the longest in Canada. There is plenty of green areas to rest en enjoy your time. Also, recently added more picnic tables, some of them near the train station, the others set along the way. There is plenty of parking. (Pay parking). Wheelchair accessible. And wheelchairs parking available. Public washrooms available. While walking - during the weekend - you will find a few food vendors; hot dogs, Mexican Tacos, ice cream, and mini donuts. Yes mini donuts!! Also. You can enjoy many restaurants throughout Marine Drive. Cousin from India, Vietnam, Korea, Canadian of course. Japan. Yes: fish and chips. Different stores: clothing, souvenirs, and many coffee shops. The local bus stops right by the old train station - now a Museum. Safety information: the walkway in White Rock is parallel to the Rail Road train tracks, so be sure to look both ways and to keep a considerable distance from the train stop barriers located throughout the walkway. Certainly is a wonderful place to spend the day at the beach. Have fun!!
Visited Vancouver for a very short trip and White Rock was on my short list, so glad I came! It was chilly that day but I could not resist walking the length of the pier, and along the water. Beautiful and exceptional views, a calm that surpasses understanding and great, friendly people in the neighbourhood!
White Rock is my favourite place to have a good walk after some awesome food from various restaurants right opposite the beach. This place is full of life and the long pier is so amazing. Great place to spend time with family and friends.
I always enjoy walk along the pier with my family.
White Rock, it's a very beautiful place and environment is also nice, I visit a lot of time at The Longest Pier, it is situated near the sea and from there we can see a very great view. There is a old railway track which is still in work, train cross from there, moreover there are a lot of restaurant near this place. My experience is very good.
We had a fantastic time walking on the beach. Beautiful town. We love it here!
This is an amazing walk. I wish they had a placard with the legend of the White Rock near it.
Gorgeous place to go for a walk. Definitely worth it.
We like here for fresh air and the calm ocean view
Nice camping River front close to town
Love it here. The new Pier looks great. Beautiful to walk at night.
Beautiful sunsets. Lovely walks along the beach and streets. Love it!!!
Information signs are great, and crabbers are friendly. If you have a chance, take the walk!
We love to be able to get down to the west beach and walk along the shore to east beach and further! My ph died unfortunately so I cant share any of the amazing music that was being played by an awesome guitar player! We had so much fun! If weather is nice again today we will do again tonight but with a full battery!
It is great place to visit. Night view is realy great
A winter storm took out the middle section of the White Rock pier and caused the closure of the beach and most of the promenade. No access to the White Rock and on our last walk near by, people crossed the barriers and the police were called.
It was an awesome experience. Especially when you go outside at night it's a great place to visit for fishing or crabbing. Also for the couples its nice. The bridge, when you go on to after the railway line is the best thing. You can also put your names on the wood for some fees. There were also many names been carved on the wood. Would surely recommend to visit.
A peaceful and quiet small city facing the ocean. I love to live here, no matter in the morning or at night when you walk along the trial to the ocean, you will feel so peaceful and pretty which make you calm down and relax. Each time you come here you will feel different peaceful.
Nice walk along the shore line. Dogs allowed on leash from November to March.
Went here for crabbing, Dungeness crabs in this area, didn't catch any big enough males to keep and parking meter was slow/ didn't work for credit card - bring change for parking but was still a nice area and fun experience
Me personally it's my favorite beach in the GVA. I feel like I'm in the Caribbean sea.????????????????????
Great little town within a one hour drive from Vancouver.... great selection of ice cream ???? deseert and foods... nice board walk along the beach sand.... welcome to Canada’s ???????? longest Pier...... happy travels ????
Lovely day for a walk in White Rock
Longest pier in Canada has done off the best views in Vancouver
Amazing views and beautiful sunsets, great patios to sit on for dinner. One of my favorite places to visit whether it's date night or to bring the kids!
White rock is beautiful tourist town with longest pier in Canada. Restaurants and suvenir shops make this place more desirable to visit again. Can't wait to visit again in spring.
Out of control pricing, any thing you want to buy you pay way too much for it. The biggest gouges are the parking meters. If you go to White Rock you better be prepared to pay arm and leg.
Love visiting the beach here. My granddaughter was thrilled. We had a lovely time even though it was raining, we just dressed for the weather and arrived at low tide
Gorgeous area, my wife is almost sold on moving to the lower Mainland just from visiting White Rock.
Beautiful ocean view, great location to walk ????♂️ any time of day even till late night. There are lots of restaurants on ocean views. You will find all kinds of food. English, Chinese, Indian etc.
A beautiful place to visit and enjoy. Thank you all the great people who care for developing a great community and building the peer . Thankful gasha
Enjoyed the sun and ⛱with my husband and granddaughters.the headed for nochos and drink ????☺fun times. ????.
A breathtaking experience like never before. Inspite of the rain the place was great and worth a re- visit.
Always a fantastic place to unwind. The fresh air and beautiful view make for an awesome day at the beach or walk.
Great place to go for a walk. Great views, flat, level, paved path, lots of (paid) parking (free in the mornings before 10am)
Every time I go to this place, it gives me that warm and nostalgic feeling. I will never get tired of coming to this iconic place.
All the benches are in the open sun. Otherwise great time
Good place to visit people are keeping their social distance from each other which is good
Beautiful place for a distanced walk on the beach at this time of year.
Great beach...clear water and lots of space !!!loved walking on the pier
Fantastic lovely morning walk!! ???? you can't smell the smoke over the ocean....nothing but salty air! Morning folks walking & families having fun ???? there's alot of good energy here. Free parking until 10am
It's always a nice time walking down the boardwalk here. Parking can be tricky but I managed to get a 48 foot motorhome parked in the street. Paid for 3 parking spots and everything went OK. I have to say I allways like being here. With the new water break let's hope it can take a beating and stay around for future generations.
We love this beach. It can get busy and you have to check the tides, but it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Touristy very nice well worth the trip
Beautiful! The lights on thr pier were fabulous, the lights were in rows in arches along the pier... On the bottom side while you walked...they changed colour.. On the top side, they stayed red and white... Only problem...for me...was that it was a wee bit cold... Would love to go again when it is warmer... Lovely at night... Pretty dark at night, but nice to see all the lights...
Plenty of parking and beautiful walks on the beach.
Lovely sand beach and great views! You can enjoy an ice cream while walking down the beach and watching the sunset. It’s usually windy though.
A bit of California just outside Vancouver. You can see the USA just across the water, if you haven't already been.
Nice place for family fun day, romantic sunset walk and dinner or an alone time working on laptop in one of the coffee shop across the street from the beach.
A great place ~to watch the sunset ~for a leisurely walk with your dog ~for a "me time" or to enjoy the day with family/friends Could get really crowded during weekends when the weather is nice and parking can be challenging, too. Parking was free when we went there and we were lucky to find a spot. Don't forget to enjoy a gelato (despite the cold) or a cup of coffee before concluding your visit to White Rock.
