It's a nice little park in White Rock. I was definitely annoyed to see that they charge for parking. It doesn't seem like they are charging much. We were there on a weekday evening and it was charging a buck an hour. Despite this it was a nice little stroll.

Honestly favourite park in white rock. Its a 15mins walk from my house and i walk here all the time. Its got a really nice trail down the ravine and i'd 10/10 reccomend anyone check it out!

The park is not big but beautiful. Going down along the steps, it is easy to approach the coast leading to the pier in White Rock town.

Ruth Johnson Park is a heavily wooded park, with pathways, trails, ravines, bridges, with some steep hills. At the bottom of the park there are nice views of Boundary Bay & Semiahmoo Bay, thru the trees. There is a large elevation change between this parks views and White Rock Promenade, along the water. Park hours remain unchanged, dawn to dusk, approximately 7:00 am to 10:00 pm depending on the time of year. Thanks for this ......

This trail system has the potential to be so great and probably was at one point in time. At the moment it is a neglected pitiful disaster waiting to happen. The decked trails (see photos) with rusty nails sticking up, boards missing and broken, hand rails that are non existent have nothing to do with slope erosion that took place in Jan 2020. What a joke, surely some of the high taxes dollars collected from white rockers could be spent making this space safer. The city of white rock should do the right thing and fix the fixable and most dangerous areas that have nothing to do with slopes and geotechnical engineers. We started at the top behind the Rec Center, pay parking here which is an absolute joke. There is not one sign at this entrance explaining the dangers on the trail just a lightbulb stand lol. A good quick workout to/from the beach with lots of stairs but enter at your own risk.

Walked the Durpez Loop trail today. Nice somewhat but somewhat hilly. Pretty easy but does have lots of stairs. You can walk from 16th (North Bluff Road) down to Marine Drive through the woods. ???? with some nice ocean views along the way. There are spots to sit and enjoy. Also a picnic area with a few tables.

On a sunny day when you're inside this park you're liking a little mini rainforest. You can't even tell that the buzzing Metropolis of White Rock is all around you!

Well maintained stairs and wooden structures that provide access to an otherwise inaccessible urban forest. Great place for a walk or jog.

The wooden stairs here are perfect for hill sprints!! Love it! The whole park is actually well connected and maintained. Nice walk or running for sure.

Loved the shady playground! We enjoyed the newly built slides, zip line and many more that we had to extend our parking fee for another hour.????

Small park, but nice walk going all the way to White Rock promenade and ultimately to pier. It was nice to get ice coffee on a hot day. On the way back, it was quite steep to walk to our parked car but gave us a nice workout for such short outing.
