Great place to come for a walk or bike ride along the ocean. Lots of sea birds to see too.
Nice place for a stroll. The only drawback is the highway noise. Take the paths further away from the road for best enjoyment. Note that it's a popular biking trail, so keep your eyes open. Sometimes they sneak up on you because of the highway noise.
Nice view if water very close to the highway
Initially we got lost trying to get to the park, we took wrong parallel route. Finally we reached there, except for the noise from highway which goes away as you walk towards the bay it was a very calm very different from the city’s hustle bustle. It is a good spot for daytime picnic. We went during evening, saw the sun set, there are a few benches there and a few cute spots for a cheap date. Towards evening you may come across some people who get their dog to walk and don’t pick up the poo poo which is gross, so watch your step during evenings. The place has a lock down time as well which is different through summer and winter, so watch out for that you don’t want to be stuck.
Amazing place. Great diversity of wildlife.
Really nice spot for couples.
Beautiful place to get away from the city bustle. Especially in the summer. So close, yet you feel you're in another place.
Small park but connects to a long path that goes by the boundary bay airport. A bit out of the way to get here. Seems like the is a bike path to the park though. Flat easy walk.
Most of it is right by the noisy highway. Constant traffic sounds sort of ruin the peacefulness of a nature walk in my opinion.
Always a great place for a walk
Need more Garage Bins.
My favourite bicycle path to Tsawwassen ????????
Great area to visit. You can ride your bike or go for a short (or very long) walk. The best area for a walk though is this Mud Bay Park (the trail essentially becomes a dyke trail and goes all the way West to Tsawwassen). Parking is good (dirt) and there is a washroom at the trail head. A bit of noise from the highway but does not sour the great views of Mud Bay.
One of the best bike trails anywhere!
I love the walk along the ocean and see the eagles in the trees.
Beautiful waters. Noisy highway.
Great place to go for a walk. There's a short loop or you could walk all the way to Boundary Bay. Better take a bike ???? though. 4 stars ✨ only due to the fact that it's quite open is all.
Beautiful place to ride bikes, great gravel and scenery. No cars!
The gravel trail allows for a scenic and breezy walk or bike ride.
Quiet, great place to walk, sit and relax, enjoy the view. Lots of waterfowl when the tides in, Hawks cruising by looking for a meal.
Do not go If your plan is to take the kids to see the water or play with sand... There is no water for miles, bees will be around you, mud is everywhere, no shade, no place to wash your hands, no place to seat comfortably.
Nice small walk around the circle. A little noisy by the Hwy but quickly quiets down on the trail.
Great place along the water to take your dog for a walk!
Awesome bike trail and great open space.
Easy walk along the shore. Beautiful views on a sunny day. Shared paths with dogs, bikes and runners.
Peaceful. Short oval path available
Beautiful trail with view of the ocean and mt. Baker for 17km
A quiet area that not many people know about. Beautiful views!
Beautiful spot for a walk or bike ride!
Great place to walk or bike, on sunny days be sure to bring a hat and sunglasses. Also bring water as there isnt any access on the trail.
Beautiful sun, water and life going on around you...
The trail is gravelly and pretty flat. It's a bit narrow given the fact that it's used by cyclists, people with dogs, runners and regular walkers. There's ample parking space but it can quickly run out on good sunny days. Many sections are pretty close to the main road and with the traffic noise it feels you're on the road instead of on the trail. We saw a couple of eagles and other birds. So a good place for birds watchers. Overall a good place for a long walk amidst nature.
Benches need repair, a little difficult to get to because often a train is blocking the only exit in or out
Nice place to walk with family.
Bring your camera. Loads of wildlife!!
Great walk and views. Parking is not the greatest when nice out.
Good place for a walk or cycle. Bring sunscreen there isn’t much shade.
Great local park. Can be more of a bike and dog park during the summer time
Well maintained walk/strolling and biking area. Beautiful lookout to Boundary Bay. There are little poems along the path around Mud Bay that describes the region and seasonal changes well. Great place to bring kids who love nature.
Wonderful wide, well maintained flat gravel pathways which are perfect for walking, bike riding, wheeling & on-leash dog walking. Can do a short loop from the parking lot to the water's edge & back to the parking lot or you can go for miles to the Boundary Bay Airport & beyond.... Wonderful bird preservation habitat!! Great ocean views!! Multiple benches to rest & enjoy the views.
Mud Bay park is a great place for a walk. However, a lot of the path is right beside the highway and has a really high level of road noise. I also would also recommend waterproof shoes when visiting in the winter.
Beautiful ocean view walks where you can also see many birds and other wildlife who make this park their home. looks like you can do a longer walk along the shoreline which I plan to save for a nicer day
Great walking area. Lots of wildlife. They even have an outhouse for your pleasure.
Mud Bay Park was okay it's nice I didn't really appreciate the amount of garbage that I found it in and around some of the wreck looks like somebody's been living in there would be nice if people could keep it a little cleaner
Nice quiet seaside walking place
Mud Bay is a great place for a walk and a foraging dream. It is not a "beach" for hanging out in the sand it wading...it really earned the name. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it's can be a bit notorious for car break-ins. Do not leave ANY valuables in your vehicle here. Other than that, perfect place for a walk or a bike ride (flat)
Nice, short loop. With a view of the ocean. No shade. Lots of parking.
Beautiful
Spectacular trail by the beach. Perfect place to take your family for weekend pre breakfast run or walk
Nice view. bike trail to Delta. Would be nicer when the tide is high.
It was great place for cycling and spend family time. Just there was no water Lear park that was little disappointing. Rest all good nice place.
Flat throughout for nice bike ride by the water. Would be better if it didn't smell like rotten eggs when riding past the farms but can't do anything about that.
Nice for walking
Its nice view but not like a beach Some cases its safe but some cases its not safe for pregnant women and for younger kids overall nice place
Quiet place to go for a walk and a nice place to watch the sunset!
I lost my black tool pouch with a wrench, a allen key set and a screw driver set while I was riding bike around 4PM. Anyone found it, please send email message. Thanks.
Peaceful environment love it, great place to ride your bike
We came here on a nice sunny day. Nice view of Mount Baker with great trails for bike ride. Come here by car, bring your bikes. Great place for a nice lunch break or bring your kids to play in the muddy beach. Cool view of the train passing by.
Good Place to Walk ... perfect route plan
Great spot for long walks or bring your dog. You can see the ocean on one side and the highway on the other. It can get noisy but that is just for a small stretch at the beginning .. They have a lot of wild bunnies that my dog likes to chase.. thats a plus :) And brownie points for spotting the different birds ..
Spectacular waterfront gravel path that is perfect for a bike ride or a dog walk.
Beautiful natural location.
Dog friendly trail park that goes along the beach. Quiet and peaceful
Great place to get over 30k bike ride without leaving the trail
The tide was so low and then the whole mud bay was fill in less time that I could imagine
This is one of our favourite biking trails. A great place to catch the sunset and watch a myriad of bird species.
Busy but good walk for sure!
A really nice walking trail with views of the ocean and surrounding area. You can get all the way around to Centennial Beach if you desire. The start of the walk is right next to the highway so it can be a bit noisy but it's worth persisting so you can enjoy the views. On days when it's windy this area can have quite strong winds so if you are on a bike make sure to be aware you could be fighting a head wind.
I wasn't sure about it at first, but this place really came through. It delivered both mud and bays in equal amounts.
Good to walk with family or to ride a bike. Parking lot is big enough. Even if it is close to the highway it is so quiet.
Nice little walk. Next time we're bringing the bikes and riding to Tsawwassen.
Tranquillity even though it is situated beside highway 10. Beautiful views, benches to relax and enjoy the view and looped to the parking lot.
We were overwhelmed by the beauty of this spot, simple as that. A perfect break before we had to drive back to Seattle.
Great for walks by the water or biking along the paths. Only negative is..that you can hear and see highway traffic at certain parts of the walk. Still a beautiful place especially close to sun set. Opened to 10 now that it is summer hours.
Pretty nice walk by the shore, bring your own water in hot sunny days.
Easily one of my favourite places for an evening walk with my wife and our dog. The areas that dogs are welcome is seasonal. Once October rolls around, the bay loop is closed to dogs but opens again in the spring.
Calm!!energy
With this area becoming more popular theft has started to happen in the parking lot, make sure you watch out for each other here. Also be on the lookout for the degenerates dumping garbage on the roads leading to the park. I go here a few times a week to run. Beautiful place, only issue is during rush hour you get hit with areas of bad pollution (next to highway). During the winter I see eagles almost every time sitting on the trees as you run under. When you get to the end of the path along the highway you can keep going and follow it along the water until it links up with another trail that also goes along the water (Boundary Bay Dyke Trail) If you see someone running during a storm/downpours without a shirt and in shorts it's me.
One of my favorite gravel rides in the city. you can start out in Mud Bay and go as far west along Boundary Bay as you like. I have personally ventured out on a few 25k round trips but the trail keeps going. Low traffic on weekdays but the trail is wide enough to accommodate lost of traffic.
Do not follow google maps it will take you down the wrong colebrook road. Take the 2nd colebrook( you have to cross the train tracks) then railway road.
Great place for a walk , run , or cycle
Relaxing park right on the sea
Lovely area, nice walkways for peds and cyclists.
Great walk along the ocean. Would be nicer if the highway wasn't right there, but the view is worth it. Nice and flat for biking too. Dog and horse friendly too.
Beautiful, shoreline dyke for jog, walk or biking. This dyke goes all the way to Boundary Bay Park in Tsawassen.
Beautiful scenic beach side walk. Kids enjoy collecting ocean washed rocks and collecting the odd sea shell. Dyke trails are maintained well with gravel. There are tableless benches to take a break or enjoy the views with a snack. Loads of fresh air and sea breeze. Only downside is it gets rather busy.
Nice easy gravel trails with wicked scenery ????
It's a nice walk with a wide path, making it great for bike rides, but I'm not a huge fan as it's right next to the highway.
Good place for a walk .or bike ride flat and near sea
End of the line for the dike trail extending to Beach Grove. Enjoy trails from here to Watershed park.
Went here to take sunset photos. It is beautiful! Amazing trails for bike rides and walks. It's breathe taking during sunsets and early mornings
Very good park. Lots of trails for walking and cycling.
nice park to walk
A great park, designed as a starting point for the walking and cycling trails. Although a portion of it parallels the freeway, it is not too close and most of it is along beautiful shoreline and through farmlands.
A must go place. Very calm environment
Nice trail for walking and biking. The current is out during the day and starts to roll in about 6pm. Interesting to watch.
Nice place to walk, but very busy on the weekends. Try going before dawn to enjoy the sunrise and see the massive amount of bunnies playing!
Awesome place to bike or walk. Can take the path all the way to Tsawassen!
Great spot by the ocean for fresh air,k sunsets, and nature watching. Dogs must be on-leash, don't be one of 'those' people who show disregard for the wildlife this park is protecting.
Very good spot for a long walk. If you go early morning you could spot some eagles resting on the trees by the trail.
It's a nice walk
Beautiful natural scenery. We saw eagles, herons, hawks, and more! Unfortunately there was excessive dog poo left on the seasonal path and in the parking lot. Today we even witnessed human waste in the parking lot. We won't be coming back for a long time.
Lovely walk, only wish it was a longer loop!
Nice trail. You can walk all the way to boundary bay airport. Great for bikes or walking a dog. The view is awesome. Can see Mt Baker and lots of other great views. So makes great sunrise/sunsets
Nice park with ample parking. There’s a short loop you can do, or walk/bike along the whole trail. There’s no shade so take a hat if it’s sunny. Likely more to see by way of waterfowl during the Spring and Fall migrations as all we saw today were crows.
Too many people but exciting location...bald eagles and many other birds
That's my favorite place to go walking, running and cycling. I recommend everyone to go there to enjoy themselves.
Great place for runners. Flat with gravel, about 2 meters average width. Can run all the way to tsawwasen. Great views and a good strip to run on. We met a lot of paw buddies on leash. Great place to train for half/full marathon. Expect to see cyclists. The trail is non-monotonous so you wont get bored. Wont recommend headphones in both ears.
Excellent trail for hiking and cycling with beautiful Pacific Ocean view, amazing!
Nice and quiet place to spend on the weekend
Great place to walk, run, or even bike all the way to Boundary Bay. The view is spectacular with lots of birds.
A BEAUTIFUL park. Lots of amazing picture opportunities. Bring your sandels to walk along the beach when the tide is out. Great trails for biking. Lots of different plants and animals to observe. FYI the waterfront trail is closed to dogs and bikes certain times of the year for when the birds are migrating so be sure to check the Surrey parks website
Our starting point to cycle around the bay to Tsawwassen for lunch. Lots of parking. Smooth gravel trail around the bay.
Quiet trail along the highway. Across the water is Crescent Beach and to the right is already Point Roberts. Active train tracks to the left. Lots of wildlife in the area dispute the highway.
It's really good place if you want some peace and nice walk
A beautiful place to be with nature. The mudflats and meadows provide a habitat for birds and animals. The 1.3 km path is scenic and used for walking, cycling, horses. Check the tide timings
From here you can do a quick 20-minute loop or a longer walk (or bike) around the perimeter of Boundary Bay. The parking overflows here on days when the weather is nice.
Such a beautiful trail system for bike riding or walking. Designated parking lot access via service road. Follow signs.
A very fascinating place to go for a walk. Great views across the water and quick tidal changes. Not too busy and a good path. Only negative is proximity to the highway but you learn to block that out ????
It was a great day not too many people hitting the trail. That was a looooonng straight gravel road so get a good pace and you will get a decent workout
One of my favorite places to take a stroll with the family. Beautiful views and easy enough to take a very enthusiastic toddler/little kid on. The walkway by the highway can get a bit noisy (obviously). Great place to take family, engagement, etc. pictures too!
Nice walk and great view. Nature trail and relax.
Great local trail to walk or ride. Go early or evening if you want to avoid crowds. Many nature enthusiasts gather to watch and photograph the many wildlife including bald eagles and owls. Most people are respectful and share the trail but beware of those who are less than considerate. Have fun!
Windy and muddy but gravel path is nice
Nice little loop to stretch your legs and see the bay. Clean and has a bathroom.
This park requires car to get to as it is remote. Parking lot is huge and accommodates probably 40+ cars no problem but it never gets full. It is quiet with a short loop to around around. This is part of the trail that connects all the way to Centinental beach/boundary bay so if you are up for a challenge then you can do that. Along the way you will get some great views of marshland, farmland, and wild life.
This little gem of a park is out of the way and hidden and it's for a reason. Locals love it for the trail walks with views of the ocean and marsh wildlife as it's finest. The local train lines go by from time to time so keep the kids clear of the track lines. Parking is ample but I stress that you keep all valuables out of sight and out of mind. There have been moments of break ins and the police are there from time to time to present a presence for would-be thieves. I've never had any issues myself but I've heard this when I've gotten out of the truck to go for a walk. It's so worth the visit though so don't let this throw you off. Take a chair and go sit on the beach and look at the ocean or catch the sunset from here which is stunning !! The walking trails are clean and there are a few outdoor washrooms. The park times change as the season does so make sure you look at the sign at the front gate or the other one further up the drive to the parking lot. You could end up getting locked in. There is a number to call if you do but hopefully you don't. Take your camera and view the wildlife and the many birds that frequent the marshes and foliage.
Nice walk. Mud as far as you can see.
Beautiful park, can't wait to go back in the spring and summer when the plants are blooming. A little tricky to find though.
If you love birds you already know about this place, don't you? Or you can bike the gravel route to Centennial Beach in Tsawassan
Beware! A friend of mine just parked there (April 5, 2016) to do a walk and her windows were smashed and purse was stolen... this is an area where people will sit and wait for you to leave your vehicle and they will take what they can of any value. DO NOT leave valuables or purses in your vehicle when parked there!
I enjoyed the bike trail. Lots of wildlife and beautiful seance ride.
My go to trail in Surrey to walk my pup. It's close by and had a great view!
Very good park to walk your dog. Don’t come during fall and winter because you can’t.
Lovely park area. Boundary Bay Dyke Trail is incredibly scenic, and a wonderful location for bird watching. Very serene, amazing place to watch sunsets.
Nice place to walk
One of my favorite places to walk.
My go to place for cycling. The view and the smell of the fresh ocean makes me feel good.
Flat gravel trails. Frequented by cyclists, runners. Trails parallel to BC Highway 99, view of Boundary Bay. Smell of the sea and car exhaust fumes. Washrooms near trail entrance. Outdoor gravel parkade.
With the recent boats being stranded on the bay shore the walk has become more interesting. The boats give it a cool aesthetic
Good park but need better walk ways & services
It is a beautiful place to hike or to bike.
Great long path away from road noise and with water views
Pleasant walk on the trails. Nice sunrise and sunset views.
Good sunset walks and lot's of birds.
Very quiet and peaceful!
Very nice to ride!!
Great place to go for a bike ride or a walk. You can bike on the Boundary Bay trail all the way from Mud Bay in South Surrey to Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen, Delta. The trail is 20 km (12.4 miles) long and is a wide, flat hard-packed gravel path, a great one to bike with your kids. Along the way you can enjoy the great views of the mud flats, salt marshes, the North Shore mountains. It's also great for bird-watching. Photos © Sanjib Dutta
Nice park with a well cared for trail. Nice place to walk the dog and not too busy. Very popular with cyclists.
Nice little walkpath, long trail starts from here and goes to tsawwassen
One of my other favourite parks in Surrey. Can always count on this place to go for a nice run by the sea. It can get a busy on weekends since whole lot of other folks also appreciate the beauty of this place. If you haven't been, make sure you have been sometime soon!
Fairly quiet dike walk. 1 1/2 km up to 14km to Tsawassen.
Myself, wife, and kids 7 and 10 did the bike ride from Mud Bay to Centennial Beach and back. Nice park, with lots of birds, wild life and interesting points along the way like the heritage airport. The ride itself was pretty boring, long and flat with the sun beating down on you. Cool spot, and glad I checked it out but not sure I would do the full 40kms again.
Nice place to bring the kids for a walk/search for sealife (at low tide) bring water to wash hands (and feet) if needed ????
It's a good trail to bike the only thing is the manure smell so strong
Beautiful views, especially at dusk. Excellent level gravel trail for walking or biking with the family. Trail is very long so you can make it a long day or short.
It's a great walk or jog or bike ride enjoy????????
Easy hike with level maintained path. Saw minimal shore birds, was not a peaceful walk as the freeway noise in the background was quite annoying.
A great trail that runs besides the ocean... see lot of running bunnies on the way and some bald eagles too...
Out of the way, not so busy, but watch out for trains at the railroad crossing. Be prepared to wait a while could have three trains back to back. The positive is theres lots of birds and great photo opportunities. Be sure to make the full loops it's beautiful!
Just a beautiful spot to relax n smoke a joint,have a beer.
We did a 30km bike ride the other day and it was amazing! No hills and a really nice ride as far as you want to go!
Beautiful park and flat gravel trail that’s great for walkers/runners and cyclists. The flowers along most of the trail are in bloom right now (early August) and it makes for great scenery. Start at the mud bay parking lot and turn around when you get tired. (Photos taken in 2 different seasons)
Not too busy. Nice walk
Such a great path for bike riding, peaceful
Peaceful park to walk around and spot birds
Beautiful trail to walk. Always run into great people.
A peaceful place for a short walk by the ocean. Also a good spot to watch sunsets and the tides. It connects to the Boundary Bay dike trail so you can walk or bike to Ladner and Tsawwassen.
Great for walk and biking. It's long and flat so on the easier side. Only problem is that it's not quite, since it runs along the highway you will hear lot of vehicle noise.
Good place to bike: isolated path next to the ocean, but it’s unpaved so it can be kinda bumpy. Great views though!
Beautiful place to go for a walk. Also a great spot for bird watching. The parking lot is a bit tricky to find.
Nice walk or leasurily bike ride.
Nice place for a nice small walk on the dyke. Or a long ride to tsawwassen
Nice walk, some trains going by. This walk can extend to centennial beach. Found all three geocaches!
Mud Bay Park provides access to flat gravel paths for biking, walking, or horseback riding along the water.
Nice place for a walk or Ike ride.
Stunning Natural beauty with peace. I love ???? it.
Safe place to ride or walk with little chance of being turned into road pizza
Good place to get some fresh air. Only bad thing is you can hear the traffic going on too much
Cheap date: 1. Load your bicycles, dog, and wife in your vehicle 2. Go to mud bay park during sunset 3. Breathe the fresh aroma of the flowers and enjoy the calming sound of the water nearby 4. Ride until it gets dark, return to your vehicle, go get ice cream 5. Happy wife, happy life
A park that has easy trails, it is well marked and managed by the City of Surrey, clean, and the main reason I went there was for the Bay views. Lots of birds year round. Some rabbits too. Perfect place to ride your bicycle. Be aware of the new covid19 social distancing rules. They close the gate at 8pm during summers, check on the City of Surrey website about gate closing times.
A beautiful flat walk. Be aware that no dogs are permitted near the shoreline as it disrupts the water fowl in the area.
nice place to catch sunset, not crowded when we went here.
Very neat place could be a super walk
This park is pretty under utilized, which is unfortunate. I took the kids biking here and it’s both an easy trail and quite pleasant. The section along Highway 99 was noisy, but the rest is secluded and relaxing. The mud flats are pretty cool too and the mud feels good in the toes.
Great place to take pics and scope out some Herons.
This is our go to e-bike location in Metro Vancouver. 40km round trip to Centennial Beach and back. Lots of eagles, fresh sea air. Not too crowded. Not technical bit you can open up the throttle and get 35km for significant stretches. Have a RAD time
Parking lot is fairly easy to find and fits about 60-70 cars. The lot is accessed from Railway Road off of Colebrook Road. Nearest transit point is a good 2.3 km walk. There is a toilet facility at the beginning of the parking lot where it meets the Serpentine trailhead and trash bins are available around the 2.7 km loop around the park. The park is dog friendly, but should be on a leash when near other people out of respect for others. From here, you could take the Boundary Bay Dyke Trail which spans 20 km all the way to Boundary Bay. If you wish to take on this trail, make sure to have all the hydration and snacks with you for this long trek. It's a great place to ride your bike or a good, long distance run. At low tide, you will see a bay full of mud and sand. When the tide is high, it's a relaxing spot to sit and stare out into the bay. From time to time, you may spot Eagles and Hawks flying around or perched on high trees.
Love this place for its natural beauty n peace
The park has improved somewhat after the pandemic rush (it was constantly packed when everyone was unable to do other things). It's still very very busy on warm sunny days, especially on weekends. Don't expect to find parking on a hot Saturday in July. But it's a nice place to walk, especially once the trail diverts from paralleling the highway (about 2kms from the parking lot). You can take this trail all the way to Tsawassen on bike.
I nice trail along the water. It's too bad this doesn't extend all the way around Mud Bay from Tsawwassen to White Rock.
Great park, right on the water with a long graveled walking path that winds around. Great spot for taking the bikes out as well.
Great walking trails, but even better sunsets. Can be busy on the weekends so parking could be sparse, but overall a great park.
Lots of mud. Great dyke trail for cycling
Great walk but to many car breakins. Park at your own risk. I saw the teens do it and police said they don't get involved call icbc and put it on your insurance.
Great bike ride for all levels! Ocean views and the smell of salt air, you can't beat it!
Mud Bay park is beautiful and a great walk to bring kids and dogs on. My partner and I go here frequently and the only downside is other people leaving garbage. One day sitting on the little beach we picked up probably a pound of broken glass, and it wasn't nice smooth beach glass, it was sharp and fresh. So, if you're going to go there please pick up after yourself and if you insist on drinking where you are not supposed to at least bring cans so kids and pups aren't risking getting their feet cut.
Nice, local trail with beautiful views. Great for bike rides and dogs as well. Beware: There are garden snakes in and around the trail. They are harmless but some people freak out. I went for a run here and the path was nice.
Great for an easy and level bike ride. Beautiful view of the bay and lots of birds to see.
great walk along the mud flats
It could be nice if they put one or two garbage bin along the trail like beside the bench.
Parking is limited but on a sunny day, what a beautiful place to take in the muddy upper reaches of Boundary Bay. The trail system directly connects with Boundary Bay Regional Park, whose dyke connects with Tsawwassen in the west.
Great spots for walks! Great views and trail.
1-2 walk, excellent for fresh air
One of the nicest place to relax right in Surrey
Always fun but to many bicycles going to fast. No notice
Good place, sunsetting view is very beautiful
Love this place so peaceful. The water , railway track and Beautiful view . Feel refreshed whenever I go there ????
Love this place
Awesome love the view on the water!
Great, but needs a washroom for people walking, biking & trying to stay fit in the great outdoors. Removed since covid. However, that doesn't stop us needing some facilities. Please bring back the go hut at least.
Nice trail for walking and biking. The current is out during the day and starts to roll in about 6pm. Interesting to watch.
The park itself is very nice, and sunsets at this location are near magical. It is also a great spot for bird watching. My issue is during this Covid time, people here did not respect what so ever the 2 meter social distancing.
Free washrooms, and parking. Actually nothing costs money here. Vandlism is apparent when looking at the informative signs about birds. Chill spot. Speed limit of 20 km/h is a joke.
Very beautiful place spoilt for people who threw garbage. Also saw a guy not picking up after his dog pooped.
Good place to ride bike or walk with family, but a bit noisy because of highway 99 right beside the trail.
Beautiful and clean. Parking is a bit small and tight that's the only drawback.
Nice flat trail for walking, jogging and biking. The trail is part of the Boundary Bay trail which connects all the way to Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen - good for a long bike ride or training for marathon. A decent place to watch the freight train crossing the trestle across Mud Bay. The trestle was upgraded to be concrete vs the original wood structure. Also good bird watching especially during the low tide where the water fowls will be out en masse. The park is only open certain hours of the day so you don't want to be locked in when the city park worker locks up the gate.
I love this park! From the parking lot all the way to the delta boundary and then back through the view points is a quick 5.2km loop. I do this walk sometimes right after work. People I meet on the trail are friendly. Cons: Sometimes people don't pick up after their dogs. Traffic noise can be bothersome for some people. But I don't mind it.
My wife like it and it has fantastic views
Previously loved going for walks here. The paths have been taken over by cyclists who are constantly yelling and ringing their bells for you to get out of their way. If you are on foot go elsewhere.
Very calm and quiet place for yoga
Well maintained trails
Love the trail! Be ready for lots of walking! You might see bikes and horses and we saw a coyote catching mice!
Beautiful spot for walks alone or with company and its dog friendly too❤
Great place for biking or walking with a scenic view
What a great place. First time here, parking lot was full, lots of people walking, running, taking their pets for walk. I'm sure on a very sunny day it'll be hard to find parking Great views
Easy walk. Parking lot needs fixing. Too many holes.
Great views and a fun walk. Has a toilet and lots of parking.
Quiet and unique environment.
35 km long. Great for bike ride or long walk, but it's all graveled, so you and your bike will get dusty. No washrooms or water available
Love this park, I just wish those dang teenagers weren't leaving their litter all over the place! Would still recommend to a friend, just bring your long grabbers and a garbage bag!
Great place for a flat bike ride that is isolated from any traffic at all. Wonderful place for kids to learn pedaling. Nice airport to stop for lunch halfway through the ride. Plenty of rest spots along the beach. Can get a bit windy at times but overall great.
Very scenic but very windy during March, and if you're away from the ocean it'll be very loud from the highway. Out houses have no hand sanitation so bring your own
Rode most of the path. There are quite a few pot holes but overall not bad for winter conditions. Walkers were attentive and moved out of the way when I rang my bell.
Great place for bicycling and walking.
It's not a park , it's a parking lot. It's very hard to find and impossible to find without a GPS. As soon as it's dark its closed, we had security show up, gave us 1minute notice to leave or he locks you in overnight. It wasnt anything good or special. Not recommended.
Love it!! Run here weekly. Can't wait to see what the king tide does to the abandoned sailboats
Not too bad or good... but if you coming from far ...not worth seeing
Great place for a walk or bike ride.
The best kept secret of Surrey
I was able to enjoy it during a beautiful sunset. Wasn't busy and a great little path.
Great place to play in the mud, go for a stroll or bird watch. The trail is long and wide great for biking. Only negative thing about this park is the highway noise which takes away from the natural vibe.
Good place to see sunset
Nice, easy trails. Great for a long, relaxed pace ride or walk.
A cool park, but sort of plain. It has a nice view of the water, but otherwise, there's little to see.
Great trail, scenery was very nice. Enjoyed the bike ride Will be back.
If you love bring close to trains this is the place
Nice scenery. Better in the spring or summer.
One of the best walking dike park simultaneously witnessing the slowly setting sun dissappear on the horizon far beyond the sea
Went for a walk here and loved the expansive views. It's just a walking/biking path asking the shore. Many people just walking out biking. Great for getting your steps.
Poorly maintained parking and surrounding areas.
Great trails, ample parking...and bathrooms. Good for a bike ride or walk. Very well maintained. Pay attention to the signs telling you when the gate closes to avoid getting locked-in!
Nice gravel route for walk, jog and biking. Beautiful scenery. Bring your binoculars if you like bird watching.
Great place for walking and biking. Trails are kept well.????
Nice looking trail. Took my wife and spastic dog here. Dog took offense to the thousands of bikes going by, upset the wife, wife wanted to leave, I got upset because of situation, situation got bad and we left. Lots of nice grass and birds and the trail was wide. Would have given 5 stars but the 30 minute drive home was pretty silent.
Not easy to find. Some paths too close to noisy highway. But quite nice anyway
Good place to walk and bike, both has a nice trail. Nice place to have a breath taking by the ocean.
A lonely place, has good beach view. Good for birdwatching, taking dog for a walk.
Lovely beach scenery
Very peaceful walk. But dog owners should clean up after them!
This is a nice flat walk that goes for miles. You can walk, stroll ,jog, or bicycle. There are water views and at about 5km or so on there is a small airport where there are tables and you can sit and enjoy a snack. You can walk 1 hr or 5 hrs 1????????
Beautiful wildlife refuge, but it's a chaim that there is a very busy highway right next to a long portion of the trail. It noisy and the smell of exhaust is overwhelming. At least the parking is free and if you don't mind walking for a while the trail gets away from the highway eventually, only then I was able to appreciate the beauty. The directions on on Google maps is a little off.
Great flat trail
A good place to go biking. Trails are well maintained.
Like the name...when the tide is out it's a mud bay. Decent path to ride or walk. It's the ocean so you can't go wrong.
Good for a walk, not much to do
Good walking area and biking.very level.people in wheel chairs could use.lots of wildlife.
The google directions were not perfectly right as it led us to a private area near the park. Actual route is 127a st off Colebrook rd, then railway road. Its a nice place to walk and jog. Gravel is well maintained.
