From the marina at Blaine to the Semiahmoo Spit is about a 20 minute ride on the oldest operating ferry. It only $5. per person and well worth it. The captain is charming with his able first mate. The ferry runs every hour from noon to 8pm from Blaine and on the half hour from Semiahmoo till 7:30pm. Beautiful scenic views across the bay! Mt. Baker, White Rock, Canada, lounging seals and nesting sea birds are some of the highlights. Semiahmoo Marina offers gift shop, lunch options, seating on the marina, beach area, meandering piers and a free telescopic viewer that brings the mountains or city right up close! A fun diversion for an afternoon!

This is a charming 20-minute ferry ride from Blaine to Semiahmoo, $5 round trip. You can see harbor seals, seagulls, and cormorants, and kids get a chance to drive the boat. Well worth the hour.
