However, if you have enough time to get out and check out the park while you're waiting... You're probably not too happy about the wait times to cross...

USE THE TRUCK ROUTE / BC-15! AVOID THE BC-99 AT ALL COSTS! But seriously though, it’s so much faster to get to van using the other route. The BC-99 is a joke, who builds a highway that merges two other highways into one lane, goes into a tunnel, then throws you out onto a city street?

In my 42 seasons on this great Earth, I've seen many signs. Stop Signs, Yield Signs, Bathroom signs, and yes other Welcome signs, but all pale in comparison to the glory that is the "Canadian Border, Welcome" sign. At first it looks like an average sign but when you really inspect it you are transported to a far away land where elves, dragons, and unicorns truly exist. It's a very welcoming sight sure to delight the heart and calm the minds of both man and beast. 5 stars..

The Canadian Border, Welcome Sign is on the north bound lane, driving toward the customs check point to Canada. It's the big wooden sign & is located in Canada. The Canadian flag flowers, between the north/south lanes, near the Peace Arch, are not the welcome sign. This "Flag Bed" could be a welcome to Canada Flower Bed (S'il vous plaît) if you please.

2 hours to get across border and back into the US. Totally unorganized...stay to the left for it opens into 6 lanes and right goes into only one....then they make that one lane a nexus line and force you to the left. US Custom agents were rude.

It's a nice welcome sign but it didn't shoot at me or scream at me to, 'get off my land!' or dispense 50# bags of pork rinds. I was kind of disappointed.

The Canadian border officer was extremely rude going to Vancouver. We were to the point of turning around and doing something else. When we told him that we would just turn around he let us pass. No need for him to be so darn rude!!

Traveler, if you see that sign, your hardship has an end. You will enter a country where you can live freely without being bombarded by fake media to believe the earth is only about 6000 years old, that lowering taxes will help the poor, that state-governed health insurance is an invention of the devil and that selling automatic guns to everybody makes supermarkets, schools and office buildings a safe haven. Booze is more expensive, yes, but, well, there must be a downside.
