A great vista of oceanside natural beauty. A place to enjoy the wonders of the wild so close to a large population

Very nice park, great for a walk or picnic

Really beautiful spot.

You will enjoy this peaceful lookout which encapsulates vistas towards Vancouver and Vancouver island. The park is quite off the beaten track and this means that it isn't too busy. Plenty of parking and picnic tables. You can then walk along the cliff path and take awesome photos. Good for kids too.

Better come early in the morning, it was busy afternoon when we left, great trails for walk and picnic, giant rocks and cliffs to climb.

Love it here even if it's raining did some rock hunting.

Amazing views! No dolphins on this trip! Maybe next time!

Amazing views and great place for some chilling moments. The cliffs maybe dangerous for smaller kids due to no enforced rails.

Excellent view, worth the detour. If you're lucky and early, you can grab the picnic table at the top.

Nice place to watch sunset or kids play in playground or climbing cliff and watch stunning view of ocean.

Great views to have a picnic at

Great place for scuba diving, hanging out on the beach and for taking scenic pictures.

Lovely location but not much activities in this park other than looking at the rocks

Beautiful view, awesome location

Beautiful views

Such a peaceful place in fall. There were many people there but we still enjoyed so much. Not a stroller friendly place.

Perfect park for golden hour photography, enjoying views, watching dolphin pods swim by, spot seals, etc.

Was here to practice long-exposure photography. There's a rocky shore looking out to this tiny island with interesting coloured patches of growth on its surface when viewed at low tide from a distance.

Bring your binoculars. There is lots to see. Nice walks over rocky shore. See the ocean; touch the ocean.

Always nice. Rain or shine!

Bettet bring you shoes cuz there is lots of rocks to climb around here

One of the filming location of Sci-fi series Travelers, where the main character Grant MacLaren (Traveler 3468) met his wife.

Nice cliff, not too busy

Great place. Usually quiet. With wooden benches along the path.

Enjoyable for climbing the rocks and the lookouts

Great location for chilling with large groups. The view is fantastic from the top, absolutely lovely.

Nice trails but the beach is only accessible in low tide

Scenic for sunsets and tides. There's a little island you can walk over to in low tide. Rocky pebbles than sand. Lots of logs to sit on. Picnic areas up on top by the parking.

The weather is pretty cold and dim. But it’s really Nice view.

Sweet Place. Parking can be tough, make sure to park in designated stalls - Police frequent this park and a lot of tickets are handed out for both parking and open liquor. Once you manage to actually manage the zoo that is parking there's a wide variety of spots you can go to. The grass near the parking lot is great for BBQs and the beach gets good sun through the day. The island is accessible at all times BUT once high tide comes the rocks become submerged so make sure to keep an eye on the tide if you're on the island. Better yet check a tide chart because otherwise you'll be swimming back.

Love this spot, good old days and great memories

Beautiful place.

Beautiful as always. High tide, so access to the rock island was covered. Lots of great viewpoints along the paths over the rock cliffs. It's easier to walk in running shoes than sandals, because of the surface of the rock, but it's manageable as long as shoes aren't smooth on the bottom. Great playground and picnic areas. Parking is usually limited but this time the area was pretty quiet. This is highly frequented by locals.

Truly a beautiful place.. We stopped by here quick after our trip from Nanaimo.. It was a cloudy day but it cleared up

Beautiful, scenic and breathtaking views. We were lucky to see a few scuba divers!

Gorgeous scenery. Pebbly beach. One picnic table close to the beach. The rest are higher up with water front out of sight.

Beautiful place to take anyone to have a picnic. Fantastic views of the ocean and the cliffs and apparently you get to see seals there certain times of the year as well to. Always a good time even in the rain.

Best views of Horseshoe bay. Trails are not as well signaled as other BC trails, but no trouble finding the trail anywhere

Amazing view!!

Great place for meditation or for taking nice photos

Awesome!

Awesome view! Definitely one of the gems that you can find in West Vancouver area. Good for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and they do cliff dives and scuba! Or you could just simply sit and relax the whole day watching the beautiful view.

Lovely place. Getting hard to find a spot free because the parking is busy during the weekend.

Simply beautiful

Beautiful place! Best sightseeing and picnic ???? spot!

I recommend anyone driving by to at least stop in for a few minutes. It's so gorgeous. Wish I was there right now lol

Nice park for small walk and ideal spot for Scuba Divers. Bowen Island looks so close - just a stone throw away distance (but is not!).

Serene ..peaceful...beautiful

Beautiful park, lots of people come here to dive. Its great for photos and beautiful scenery.

Long walk from bus stop or harbour but worth it if you are a keen Walker. Great views.

Nice place, children like here. Clean water that can swimming

Great park, good parking and a short walk to the water. Excellent choice of seating and many locals!

Great park. Sometime Orcas are spotted. Great diving spot too.

Beautiful spot in sun or cloud. Picnics, walks, views and vistas.

Beautiful view. Rocks to climb up on and look at the view. Water life is often visible. Good place for a date or good friends to hang out.

Beautiful all year round!

Beautiful spot to chill and watch the boats go by

Beautiful place. I went at night to make a time lapse of the moon and worth it the whole 6h I stood there! ♥️

It's a wonderful place! Having breakfast and watching some seals and whales was awesome!

This is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful park for any sort of activities, whether it’s a hike, pick nick, yoga time or just a walk for a view. Sometimes, it can also be a really nice spot to watch eagles flying around! Really beautiful!

Great place to be in nature. Love the walk across the rocks/boulders to the rocky point look out. Beautiful park which we took advantage of for a nice picnic.

Went there to watch the perseid meteor shower

Such a beautiful park highly recommend, wear running shoes!

Beautiful!

Amazing view.

Nice park, you can see rocks and water. It can be windy sometimes but sometimes it is not. Lots of houses in this area have nice views of the same point. Place seems clean and well maintained. Grass exhibited signs of high density and deep roots which speaks to the skills of the landscapers and compatibility with external environmental factors.

It's beautiful here. Please respect our environment and don't litter you cigarettes and pack out what you bring. Or just don't come here.

So much fun! The sun was shining, and the tide was out, so we were able to go out and climb. Gorgeous viewpoints with so many benches.

There's a small pull-off about a two minute walk north to park. The view is beautiful, as long as you can ignore the very immature graffiti. You need to climb a small rocky hill to get to the overlook. It's only about 8feet up, and walkable, but not friendly to people with mobility disabilities.

Such a nice and peaceful place for chill, swiming, paddling and bbq ????

Another amazing lookout

Really nice park. Can get fairly busy but still tons of places to enjoy the views and areas.

Great spot where you can dive and enjoy the ocean life of BC

Absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see what it looks like in the summer

Liked it as one of the greatest look out points in West Vancouver

Peaceful and beautiful. When I went there, I could walk to the island.

A little hard to find but nice to spend the day once there. Climbing the cliffs is fun easy enough for kids

Very relaxing place. One of the best places to unwind

Best place to get ocean and mountain view

I love this quiet place. Very restful for the mind ...

This place never changes, always awesome. Parking can be challenging but worth it. Missed orcas by 15 minutes.

Beautiful place.

Beautiful place. Good for family picnics.

You can spot sea lions there resting on the beach! Nice place to be

Beautiful viewpoint on West Vancouver!

Great way to spend the weekend with family

Best place on earth!! Gorgeous scenery

Take your family or significant other for a lovely experience

Awesome Views!

If you get there before high tide, you can get onto the little hill/mountain and climb to the top to get a wonderful view! I saw harbor seals very close, relaxing on the rocks.

Nice views, beautiful for swimming great spot to relax and enjoy the sun ????

Great little beach, but there's steep drop off so mind the little ones.

Nice and quiet place. Nature lots of nature

Amazing beach first time that I saw seals and the landscape is spellbinding

Great views with nice little walking trails.

Absolutely stunning. Rocks are slippy to climb up, but it is more quiet than other typical touristy places. This is not really much of a hike and more of a walk and climb.

As a professional scuba diver, I say this place is incredible. There is lots of sea stars and fish underwater. Kids usually like jumping the rocks up to island. But beware, it's quite deep.

Beautiful place to visit and hiking!

Absolutely stunning park in an incredible location. It may not be easy to park on the weekends so do try and visit at off peak times. Wonderful place for a family picnic and explore. There’s a beach and a concession/cafe.

Lots of great little benches nestled in the cliffs looking out onto the water.

Beautiful British Columbia it's no hyperbole! Lovely place for hiking, picnicking, photoshoots, swimming or just sitting to enjoy the splendid views. I especially enjoyed the winding and sometimes steep paths along the water. It was like a library of flora with hidden nooks and crannies so much so that you can easily feel as though you're all alone in some secluded spot. There were some cliff areas where I'd never take a kid or venture in the dark but it made for a beautiful adventure at sunset

Very nice park! Great for Family picnics

Nice place with friends and family for picnic.

Good place to have a day out picnic. Does not have trails to hike but a nice place to relax the day with family and friends

A phenomenal park! Fresh ocean breezes and beaches and trails to walk along, what else can you ask for? Harbor seals are everywhere (I got to see a seal pup feeding from its mother). Climb to the top of the main rock on the beach and you can see far off into the distance where ferries and and boats are sailing by. Apparently, its a great spot for scuba diving because the park is a designated saltwater marine protected area.

Great place for a walk, picnic, swim, hike. Free parking, snack shack and a a few bathrooms. Rock trail out to small island accessible at low tide…don’t get caught with tide coming in or you’ll have to swim back.

Love this place so much I got married here ;)

Beautiful location. Fun drive

Great spot to enjoy the panoramic view of the bay. There's a strip of land leading to an inlet south of the lookout, it's a moderate hike and it's well worth it.

Great park and beach to explore! Popular with scuba divers as it is a protected marine park. Washrooms, playground, and covered picnic area. Parking can be tricky on sunny days, but it is free :)

Whytecliff area is now distinct from Horseshoe Bay. The park, originally Rockcliffe Park, was developed by W.W. Boultbee in 1926, and a private access road was cut from the Marine Drive highway at Batchelor Bay.

Beautiful place to come enjoy the beach. Fantastic views all around, lots of free parking, green grounds to have family time

AWESOME

The best sight seeing if Cliff's island , bc ferries and ocean

Many routes to take for a walk, rocky and foresty. Enjoyed the pretty views!

This is one of my favourite places in Metro Vancouver. The view is awesome and it's great to sit on the benches near the cliffs to watch sunsets over Howe Sound.

Nice place to go with an active partner

Such a nice view!! The climb has lots of rocks, so wear proper footwear.

It the perfect place to take a lunch and forget about all the things in life.

Great view, better taking bus to visit than drive car, no spot in summer time. Sit down and enjoy the ocean &mountains. Only just small space

This would be one of the most beautiful places you can possibly find in Vancouver, and you would not want to miss it.

Awesome hidden gem! Park, playground for kids, trails, lookout point with wonderful scenery and beach! All I need to have a great day out of the city!

Excellent spot to go stargazing on a clear night, we saw stars and the moon seemed so close to us. Very quiet spot with just the sound of waves to accompany you, if you go late at night.

We enjoyed the area and trails, worth a visit

Park is so nice but very limited parking space, I.e. unfortunately about 70% of the parking occupied by diving schools

Beautiful park. Wonderful view. Didn't want to lleave the park ????

Beautiful spot in West Van overlooking the straight of Georgia. Nice place to watch the ferries and boats cruise by. This park has lots of scuba divers on the weekends. Limited parking so best to get here early if you are planning a picnic.

Simply beautiful. Heard from an old coworker that it's packed on the weekends with kids and bbq's and no parking spots left. Which is really not my kind of vibe. But if you can catch this place without all that on a weekday this place is simply divine and a gorgeous look out.

So peaceful and a great flat grass area to picnic or play games with the kids.

Amazing place! Very peaceful and fun

One of the most scenic beauties near Vancouver.

Beautiful place for people who seek peace, away from city life????

Amazing views, good place for swimming, diver's spot

You can have a fantastic picnic; beside, snorkeling and hiking.

Awesome

Great bay view

Beautiful but potentially crowded. Go early!

Very beautiful and serene. have seen Killer Whales swim by and divers explore as well. A lot of action here and easily accessible. Parking is tricky on weekends, so come early!

Beach rocks cliff and island, most beautiful place

Beautiful place, great diving spot

Love the view and the park, better to go during the week, as weekend there is barely any parking and alot of poeple.

Beautiful Views Stunning Park just breathe Taking Clean park great for a picnic ???? family time or just to enjoy the beautiful view ❤️

West Coast beauty. Outstanding views up Howe Sound, Bowen Island. At low tide you can walk out to the island.

This is one of the most beautiful spots in west Vancouver, don't miss it!

Absolutely beautiful!

We grew up in West Vancouver but hadn't been to Whytecliff Park for atleast 30yrs. Still a beautiful place. Amazing views. Benches to sit on and a few trails. Nice beach.

Very nice place I enjoy it wo much my kids love it too . Not enough parking spots. The ice cream shop is a complete scam one scoop size of a golf ball 5$ and ut is not that good .

Beautiful area, was nice and quiet on a Fall Sunday morning.

Nice park with beautiful views. But no parking on weekend. Most of the spaces are taken by divers

Great for fun weekend and with kids and pet

Breath taking

Always the best spot to take a break or a picnic

Parking available right next to the little path walk to the lookout. Always nice to take a walk across to the other side of that little mountain

Excellent ???? Park. We really enjoyed the time and the ambience. We will certainly visit the park again.

Loved this park. Absolutely beautiful.

Fun little park with a lot of different activities to keep a family busy. There is an open grassy area, picnic benches, a playground, a beach area (rocky), a beautiful look out area, and the crowd favorite Whyte Island which you can climb easily when the tide is low (make sure you don't get stuck as the tide comes in). Tip: make your way to Horshebay Bay for lunch or coffee.

Amazing place to explore. Stunning views and great park for kids. Paired with horseshoe bay it is a nice day! Go when sunny and clear.

Always love going there

My favorite spot!! Some small trials to walk, but it's the view of the bay that makes this place remarkable. Many sunsets watched here & on the little island in the middle of the bay!!

Have to see definitely
