Its always a fun activity to watch big vessels pass through the locks. Lots of patience required as the locks do take time to fill/drain.

If looking for a quick view of a ship (when restrained on time) in the locks then it works here otherwise lock 3 is way better option

These locks are severely understaffed! You wait and wait for 2 guys to arrive to throw you a line after you've hovered and tried to maintain position...ridiculous!

Not as good as lock three just a 5 minute drive away but if that's where the boats are then the observation deck still works fine, just not as big as three.
