There was after several months where my friends and I partied at night goes without saying but how much fun we had partying, and then we got back to our cars drunk and barely smashed. Lol I had to say it because each of the times we went there, we entered the site very simply to get to the devil's hole ???? but the return was really like a Rambo mission ait we dispersed then we ran into everything the senses continued by the agents and security… it was really very very funny but it was just a bunch of young teenagers… after of course as an adult I went back but it's really winter in snowshoes that I had fun in love and with family. In short interesting (Original) C’est un très belle endroit à voir, pour ma part beaucoup d’expériences différentes à cette endroit dont lorsque j’étais pas très vieux à l’adolescence après y avoir été avec différents services comme l’école où terrain de jeux. Il y a eut après plusieurs mois où mes amis et moi ont fait la fête de nuit vas sans dire mais combien on as eu de plaisir à faire la fête, et ensuite on revenais à nos voitures bourrées et à peine défoncer. Lol je devais le dire parce que chacune des fois où nous y sommes rendu, on entrais sur le site très simplement pour nous rendre au trou du diable ???? mais le retour c’était vraiment type mission Rambo ???? on se dispersait puis on courais dans tout les sens poursuit par les agents et sécurité… c’était vraiment très très drôle mais c’était juste une bande de jeunes ado… après bien sûr en tant qu’adulte je suis retourné mais c’est vraiment l’hiver en raquettes que je me suis amusée en amoureux et en Famille. Bref intéressant

Due to its small size, you can walk around it in about 45 minutes or longer if you like to take your time and stop here and there. Below, there is also a view of the Mauritius River, - if you like history, you will see some explanatory panels on the history of this site, which was once the place where the iron industry in Canada (the forges) began. Apart from the white house at the entrance to the park, all the old buildings have been destroyed. We can also see in some places the remains of old buildings. An interesting point is the building called the "blast furnace" whose building was destroyed but whose shape of the building was reconstituted with a metal structure. You can also climb on the platform of this metal structure which gives you a point of view on the site. It seems to me that during the period outside of Covid, you can visit the interior of the blast furnace (which seems to be partially underground) but not during the Covid period. In the White House, a film is shown on the history of the site (at certain times of the day). I couldn't see it because you have to register and it was full at the time of my visit (the number of authorized people being restricted due to the Covid). The restrictions brought about by the Covid take a lot of the interest of the site if you like the story. Until these restrictions are lifted, it is always nice to go for a short walk. (Original) Ce lieu historique est ouvert uniquement en période estivale. Il a 2 volets: - vous pouvez le voir comme un parc pour y faire une balade. De par sa petite superficie, on peut en faire le tour en 45 minutes environ ou plus longtemps si vous aimez prendre votre temps et vous arrêtez ici et là. En contre-bas, il y a d'ailleurs une vue sur le fleuve Maurice, - si vous aimez l'histoire, vous verrez quelques panneaux explicatifs sur l'historique de ce site, qui fut jadis le lieu où commença l'industrie du fer au Canada (les forges). À part la maison blanche à l'entrée du parc, tous les anciens édifices ont été détruits. On peut d'ailleurs voir à certains emplacement les vestiges des anciens édifices. Un point intéressant est l'édifice appelé le "haut fourneau" dont le bâtiment a été détruit mais dont la forme de l'édifice a été reconstitué avec une structure métallique. On peut d'ailleurs monter sur la plateforme de cette structure métallique qui vous donne un point de vue sur le site. Il me semble qu'en période hors Covid, on peut visiter l'intérieur du haut fourneau (qui semble être partiellement sous terre) mais pas en période Covid. Dans la maison blanche, un film est présenté sur l'histoire du site (à certaines heures de la journée). Je n'ai pas pu le voir car il faut s'y inscrire et c'était complet au moment de mon passage (le nombre de personnes autorisées étant restreint en raison de la Covid). Les restrictions apportées par la Covid enlèvent beaucoup à l'intérêt du site si vous aimez l'histoire. En attendant que ces restrictions soient levées, il est toujours agréable d'aller y faire une petite promenade.
