The speech brings back a lot of memories from when I was a kid. Surrounded by grassy steep hills, the sandy beach and swimming area is clean and perfect place to spend the afternoon and a hot summer day.

Nice beach. There's lots of space and a cool island you can swim to. It's not too far from shore; as someone who's not a strong swimmer, I didn't have too much trouble.

Haven't been to Kalmo Beach in 30 years and forgot how how beautiful it is! Showed up a few days ago @ 5 am with a temp. of 0 degrees and the views made it worth while.... If you've never been there, it's a must! And if it has been years, it's a must!

This spot has a wide sandy beach with lovely shaded grassy hills to rest on. The water is not too shallow for adults but not too deep for children. Public bathroom and change room available, and lifeguards on duty. It also offers an interesting collection of painted wood carvings, including some on a small island that is close enough for a confident swimmer to reach.

Went to find a clear dark place to watch some of the meteor shower, so I was here in the evening. I just parked my car and watched the sky. There was a security car that was checking the area out, that was nice to see. So it turned out, it was a nice place to watch the sky over the lake. No light pollution. And there were other people that appeared to be doing the same thing.

Kalmo beach is clean, not crowded, well shaded. Lifeguards were present tll shortly after 7PM. No leaches or blood suckers. Everyone enjoying this Sunday.

This beach is located in valley east. It is small and the sand is not very nice. The water however is clear and is great on a hot summer day. There is no place to purchase beverages or ice cream.

Nice place enjoyed the day waters clean and warm not to deep enogh for adults but still great for kids one section is a good dog beach and other is for family's to enjoy nice wood carvings grassy hills and sandy beach sand is coarse so I'd recomend some water shoes rather way it's perfect in the valley area easy to get too.
