This is a really cool must see when visiting Sudbury. So happy they turned the old hospital (an eye sore) into something beautiful. Sudbury is so bleak and grey in the winter and this adds a much needed pop of colour!

I know some folks don't appreciate it and yes there are probably better uses for the building. However I give credit for the use it gets now while Sudbury figures out what to do. The parking lot very convenient right beside and the great waterfront park just down below. Very pleasant!!

It's really cool that they took the old hospital and did this apperently it's haunted so they say and that's why construction was halted personally I think it had more to do with cost effectiveness but hey the ghost stories are great.

I drive past this every day and I think it’s absolutely hideous like we could have put a beautiful painting of a lake but no we did this psychedelic toddler art of a job. It would have costed less to just demolish it all.

when I saw this building in the middle of the Canadian shield it was a weird ghostly relic.... but as I began to appreciate it more I hope that Sudbury will discover that is an actual piece of art worth preserving and continue to explore the creative possibilities of this old hospital

The largest mural in Canada is located on paris Street next to Bell park. It is visible from several far off locations. Old hospital building was converted and this mural came into being.
