Nice place for a sunset

cool place, awesome view

Beautiful view over the bassin and the islands. Good as a resting area and beach access.

Appreciate it being open in the fall. Very beautiful and well kept.

Lovely place Picnicking spot and clam digging

One of our favourite places to visit in Nova Scotia, every time we head up that way we always make it a point to stop here. Amazing view and very clean grounds... other then the washrooms... they were disgusting in 2015 when we visited and again this year. The student hired did not acknowledge visitors well but we understand this site does not have a manager overseeing it. Aside from that we love the place, the first year we dug clams over at the Five Islands Provincial Park and then brought them over to the Lighthouse Park to cook them over one of their cooking stations. Awesome experience that made our trip! There is a water tap for washing, games outside to play such as washer toss. We were very lucky to see the island in person that had the tunnel in it before it collapsed. High recommend stopping here... just don't use the washrooms. Will change to 5-stars if the washrooms are in a better state on our next visit.

It's a lighthouse! There's a beautiful view, and monuments detailing the lighthouse and the property it's on. Definitely worth a stop if you're traveling through the area.

Nice little spot to stretch your legs, let the dog and kids play. There is a roughly 1.5 km loop around the perimeter of the park.

Nice but i lost my drone here in the water while it was battling the winds to get back.

Beautiful little park, nice place for a picnic, and some photography

Spectacular view!

Loved the geocaching that was there and the sunset

Breathtaking view of the "Five Islands" at the lighthouse.. I definitely recommend a quick stop if you're in the area!!

Besutiful views, and fine selection of souvenir clothing. Was cold and windy we visited there in mid august.

An easy to reach, uncrowded and peaceful park with a lighthouse, walking trail, easy beach access and glorious open view of the Five Islands and surrounds. And it's free. Marvelous.

Beautiful place. Great playground for kids in a lovely scenery.

Pitstop for our family always!

Amazing views, nice little nature trail, and a cool playground.

Cute lighthouse. Amazing views.

Perfect place to see the 5 islands. We really enjoyed the beach. Seems like a great spot for clam digging too. Was so gorgeous at sunset. We actually stumbled upon this location and I can't imagine finding a better spot to enjoy the sunset in this area.

Remarkable panoramic views of the minus basin.

Stunning views, nice picnic area.

Love this place very much. So much scenery to take in and WOW...what a view of the five islands. This place is just heaven. There is also a playground for the kids and a lighthouse to view. This place also has picnic tables and bathroom facilities. Just a nice place to sit eat lunch while the kids are playing. And while your taking in all the beauty you can take a nice long walk on a beautiful beach ⛱.

Always amazing views but was extremely cold this day

Perfect rest stop, or day trip.

Beautiful place. Very calming scenery.

Great views of the Bay of Fundy with a tiny lighthouse to climb. It includes a picnic area and rest rooms. Bring your camera and watch for eagles fishing near shore.

Nice picnic park with bathrooms and playground. When the lighthouse is open, you can go up top for a great view.

Beautiful

Great place to relax

Not much to it... quiet little park,

Absolutely stunning view. To my mind it rivals the funny flower pots. Saw it at low tide. We're going to try to come back to see it at high tide!

Really nice views and a great play area for kids!

Amazing

Great place to stop and relax also the best view of 5 islands

Beautiful area

This was a great stop. Lots of picnic tables and open areas. Cool playground and hammocks. We even walked a short grass trail that had lovely treasures along the way! And the view!!

Always stop by on our NS trips.

Beautiful

Impressive to see when the tide is out.

Hidden gem! Beautiful view of the basin.

Very scenic with Fundy Bay in the background. The tides are amazing!

Been here last year but went back again yesterday as part of touring Parrsborro, Port Greville and Advocate Harbour. It is so beautiful. We were too early at 8am but we still enjoyed the place. I climbed up to the top where the light is last year and you could see a view of the Bay of Fundy and the five sisters on low tide. It also has a picnic area.

Vast view and great area for a gathering

(Translated) Super nice park. A must on Nova Scotia (Original) …

Always the most amazing view

Amazing place to play and explore as a family. Beach access loads of sea shells and treasures and a playground. Will definitely visit again soon.

Wonderful drive ocean view spectacular

Wonderful place to walk my Dog, relaxing place to watch the tides come and go .

Five Islands Lighthouse Park is a costal park located north of the Minas Basin of Bay of Fundy. Its main attraction is the panoramic view of five islands namely Old Wife, Brothers, Cape Blomidon and Cape Split and the wooden built Lighthouse which is said to be relocated here in 2008. Apart from that the park offers 300 meters of ocean front and and about a kilometre stretch of gravelled beach. It is maintained by the Municipality of Colchester and it is a UNESCO Global Geopark part of the Cliffs of Fundy. Kids can enjoy in the park a ship like unique playground and an open picnic shelter with fire hearths for barbecue. The accessible restrooms are cleaned daily from May to October. Also, it is among the best places to enjoy the sunset. Cliff edges are shallow underneath because of erosion due to tides so avoid going close to the end of cliff. This costal area experiences world’s highest tides so walking on mudflats to the islands could be treacherous and dangerous.

Great spot to stop and check out the islands. Lots of parking and bathrooms on-site.

Great place, not much to do and dangerous for kids... the mud flats are very silky so be careful... Also the tides come in terribly fast so dont stay out to long, and know your tide times...its a must

Beautiful picnic area. Clean. Playground for the kids. Gorgeous views

Nice scenery

Beautiful view, free access to the top, interesting gifts available for sale on the main floor.

Awesome Place

Nice stop, beautiful view and nice little playground for the kids, nice eating star to get away from the sun

Beautiful area

Beautiful views and location

Views are great and the little gift shop wasnt overly expensive. Lots of Nova Scotia themed items, rocks, shells, christmas ornaments, post cards, etc. The view from the top first starts with a steep climb up a set of ladder stairs; view from the top is quite nice and worth the climb.

Spectacular ocean view as well as history info

I have visited this park and attraction on a couple occasions and love the care and attention put into it by those involved. It is a wonderful little piece of the region’s history, lovingly preserved by many people, which is no small feat considering coastal erosion keeps trying to swallow up the lighthouse. Great for a picnic stop, to see the five islands, experience (and climb) a lighthouse, and more!

Nice view. Not much to do there.

We picnic here on a regular basis. Great play structure, a huge gazebo with picnic tables , and a washroom with hot water. All of that on top of a spectacular view!

Great park for a walk at the beach, for the kids to play at the very well structured vessel, and even for cooking at the shelter. It has a good sized parking lot and decent washrooms. It is very well maintained and a beautiful view of the …

A nice little Park

Beautiful place to visit

Beautiful area. Enjoyed a nice walk along the shore collecting shells, rocks and sea glass.

Such a peaceful unique place.

Very nice view and resting place

Nice View!

Large open views, pic nic and wide grassy field driving access to the shore. Great tide view.

Beautiful spot for a picnic and sunset.

Nice views

Nice area. Very picturesque.

There's no better place to catch a cool ocean breeze and let the kids run while taking in the awe inspiring Bay of Fundy!

This park is the perfect place to view all five of the islands. It's also a great place to stretch your legs and get some fresh air during a roadtrip. There is a play area for children, bathrooms, and a shaded area with picnic tables. The lighthouse is a charming little building with a gift shop inside and you can climb to the top for a great view of the islands. There is also a couple of signs explaining the local history of the area and the lighthouse itself. I would definitely recommend stopping to relax or take a walk on the beach.

Nice little park with some simple playground equipment, a covered eating area that has several picnic tables. 2 which had wheelchair accessable spaces. Bathroom on site with flush toilets. The lighthouse is neat as well, with some stuff from local artisans for sale inside.

Just a beautiful place to visit

Bathrooms were disgusting.

Nice views, cliffs and tides

It is a beautiful place

Very nice. It was a quick visit.

Amazing views! Surprising find. Beautiful park and my kids liked the playground

Beautiful beach, easy to walk on, watched the swallows as they nestled in the sandy beach wall, there is also a great playground to keep the kids entertained. We always enjoy our visits to this spot

Wonderful place to watch the tide go out

What a beautiful spot to visit! Also, I happened to drop my wallet as I was walking to my car. When we went back for it, some kind person had picked it up and returned it to the lighthouse.

Always a wonderful time!

Nice view

Very nice

Beautiful spot for a picnic

I was here about 8 years ago and they sure made some nice improvement to some lovely hammocks and there's a lovely walk down along the beach

Great view of the tides of the Bay of Fundy, and Five Islands part of the legend of klooscap

Beautiful view of the five islands. Fun kids playground with swings. Covered picnic area. Could climb the lighthouse

Met an American couple who knew the history. Was quite cool for their end of May tough

Beautiful view of the 5 islands

Beautiful spot, beach access, look-off, info, lighthouse, large covered sections of picnic tables, raised charcoal bbq pits and washrooms!

(Translated) A breathtaking view from the top of the lighthouse. Beautiful layout: dining area under a roof, BBQ available to visitors, play area for children, all accessible by car. …

Great views. Very nice experience.

Best kept secret. We had a peaceful lunch amid the lighthouse surrounded by five Islands

In 5 islands spraying ants.now I know why viv said she'd go with me (Dianes)clams

Great views, play park for the kids!

Beautiful view of the Islands. Nice beach to walk on & great 'pirate ship' for the kids to play on. Can even go up to the top of the lighthouse!

Cool place with lots of info

Nice little park with a great view of the five islands. Try to be there at low tide for the best view.

It was nice there, but it was a little cold that day

Worth the drive

Amazing

Very interesting place with a nice view, good spaces and a beautiful red coast! A pity we couldn’t visit the lighthouse.

Loved it very friendly young worker in the lighthouse

Nothing great but a small lighthouse by the bay of fundy. Has got ample of parking spots and nothing.

Beautiful view of the Five Islands from this park as well as the lighthouse. A great place for a picnic or a walk on the beach also.

Well maintained park and a great place to walk. On the beacj

What a beautiful little park on the shores of the Bay of Fundy and along the Glooscap Trail scenic drive! Unobstructed views of the five islands, a cute little lighthouse, plenty of picnic tables including a large covered area for those hot summer days. Plenty of parking, and easy to find. Just follow the signs!

Nice to see the addition of the play ground.

A must stop if you are visiting the Five Islands area! We found this Five Islands Lighthouse to be the best view in the area where you are able to see all Five Islands. The road in/out is full of pot holes, so drive slowly and carefully. Lots of areas to explore, including the beach, the park, and the lighthouse itself. Picnic tables, bbq, and a playground were all available for use. When I went, the lighthouse was decorated with Halloween props (early October). The lighthouse is situated at a peaceful and scenic location and I would highly recommend stopping by for a visit.

Lovely fall day

Love it here...and I forgot my slippers ????

Great spot to take a break and view the Bay of Fundy.

(Translated) Very nice place to relax and unwind. (Original) …

Just a nice place to stop and catch the View. Don't miss it!

Awesome view!

Great views

Surprisingly fun. I spent more time here than I had planned but it was worth it. It was low tide when I was there and we walked along the mud. I will need to return during high tide.

The view is majestic, however the condition of the railing is a bit unnerving. A couple of adirondack chairs, ladder ball and washer toss makes for an enjoyable visit.
