(Translated) The Royal Square is a little heart of Sorel. The trails have the shape of the English flag (union jack) and welcomes the market of old Sorel on Saturdays during the summer. In winter you can skate and enjoy the Christmas Market. During the festival of the gibelotte (renamed Gib Fest probably to make you younger or save the length of the banners) there are a multitude of kiosks and various activities such games for children, terraces, sidewalks and "courses" with music groups with singer with derailed voice. Often decorated with the occasion the square to a magnificent kiosk which unfortunately unfortunately never serves ... But where is the orchestra or the fanfare of Sorel-Tracy! It is a quiet place in the city center where it is good to stroll. (Original) Le Carré Royal est un peu le coeur de Sorel. Les sentiers ont la forme du drapeau anglais (union jack) et accueille Le marché du vieux Sorel les samedis pendant l'été. L'hiver on peut y faire du patin et profiter du Marché de Noël. Pendant le Festival de la gibelotte (renommé Gib Fest sans doute pour faire plus jeune ou sauver sur la longueur des banderolles) on y retrouve une multitude de kiosques et activités diverses telles jeux pour les enfants, terrasses, ventes de trottoirs et "stages" avec groupes de musique avec chanteur à la voix dérailée. Souvent décoré selon l'occasion le carré à un magnifique kiosque qui ne sert malheureusement pratiquement jamais...Mais où est l'orchestre ou la fanfare de Sorel-Tracy ! C'est un endroit calme en plein centre ville où il fait bon flâner.
