I was at Powell Park for a Canada Day dog show. This is a very charming, centrally located park with a small bandstand, numerous trees, several benches to sit on, and a war memorial. It is important for every town to have green space.

Port Dover has been one of the greatest long weekend getaways for some good ole family recreational time.. walk along the Port and docks, great little place for swimming and boating fun.. cute park when long weekends happen, the town puts on a little nice market at this park.. great way to spend some family time.

The place was beautiful, but it was far too busy for my liking. Then again, that's partially my own fault for going on the Saturday of a long weekend when the weather was gorgeous.

Such a cute little park with a lovely gazebo, which would be great for a family picnic after a day over at the beach! This would be a nice park to have small art fairs or free public concerts in.. lots of open space for vendor tents for a fair, or for people to sit or stand and watch a show, with the gazebo being a great set-up as a small stage. Would recommend they install a water fountain here, as that's what we were looking for when we walked through.

I like to get vintage magazines here at the used book sale. They have a great selection of antiques. New Canadian made Art, jewelry crafts and clothes at the summer festival in Port Dover. You can even buy food in the park to eat. But I like to try different restaurants when I'm there.

This small park in downtown Pt Dover is a great place to relax. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches. The place is kept clean and neat by the city. Parking is plentiful and free. A few flowerbeds would be nice! The park is very open and plain. It lends itself well to functions, but a showpiece it is not.
