Got swarmed by flies
One of my fav places for biking
A good place to come and chill by the lake. Plus there’s a 8Km+ for those who enjoy walking and hiking. The only minus is the excessive amount of flying insects that are there.
Its have hill in back and good for drone shoots.even beach is good. But on hill too much flies
Quite place surrounding by lake ontario. Nice views can be enjoyed from the top of the hill. Very good place to have a walk and cycling. Free car park available there. I enjoyed walking on the dam on the bank of the Lake Ontario
Hidden Gem! Walked in with no expectations and now it's been my go to place during hot summer days. Amazing place for a small hike and enjoy the views of nature and beach.
Awesome hike along the lake
This place is near the lake Ontario.. so the sound of waves and cool breeze is good and the view is incredible.. i recommended all to visit this place
Lovely little gem. There's a lookout to the lake and a path to walk along the shoreline towards rouge beach.
quiet place with an awesome view. it's windy but worth the view!!
Lots of open spaces for taking long walks or walking the dogs in general. Brought my bike here as well and it was very pleasant!
Great place to play ball. Fields are nicely maintained. Best diamonds in Toronto bar none.
Beautiful bird sanctuary located by the bluffs. Plenty of parking and loads of nature to see
Wonderful trail and wonderful beach
One of the hidden gem in Scarborough. There are hardly any visitors during winter or summer. Haa a good trail for walking. Free parking spot, great place by the lake for evenings.
A must visit for every season.
Cool place near the city relaxation
Gorgeous ???? glad the park is open one sailboat that day
Naturally boost up ur mind.love this place
Great place for walking your dog, nice scenary. Pretty cold even in summer of there's winds. A lot of bikers, some aren't that polite and will just whiz by without warning so keep your eyes up if you have your pet or a small child with you.
Wonderful trail and beautiful beach. If you're lucky, you may get to see white tailed deer! I saw one crossing the trail.
Nice field, a little hard to find but great spot
A place you should be when you want to bike or walk. It sits on the South the shoreline of Lake Ontario and you can climb and look on a hill the beauty of nature. You can enjoy walking on the sand as the shoreline of East Point Park extends to Port Union. An afternoon walk during a clear sunny weather is a good exercise for the mind and the body as you inhale fresh air right from the lake.
Fall colors and golden light are such a treat here!
Picturesque spot. Unexpected and a hidden gem.
Nice, quite and calm, good hiking place. Enjoy the lake from high ground
Great trail. Toronto has it's own seaside, what a view.
Kind of tucked away from the city, this park is interesting as it's right beside a water treatment plant where you can see billowing steam coming out from the smoke stacks. This park connects to the bird sanctuary on the east side. There's a nice hill that over looks the lake. A small sandy and rocky beach that connects further down the trail. Personally, there's too much garbage lying around both the bird sanctuary and in the beach. Bales of straw hay left on the beach? This park is good for cycling. Not really much to see.
Very beautiful trail, one of my most favourite place in Toronto
Wonderful place to walk. It isn't fancy but it is quiet and you feel relaxed. Beautiful views and varied terrain. A true gem in Scarborough.
Beautiful place for a walk and bird watching.
The place looks beautiful but today September 3 2018 the water looked very dirty and there was dead fish washed up on the beach.
GREAT TRAIL ALONG THE WATERFRONT!!!
narrow trail surrounded by lush vegetation, lots of cow parsnip, nice trail though, not for everyone
Nice place to walk around. Wear appropriate shoes for the weather;)!
It is basically escaping the city rush
RIVERDALE PARK...GREAT PLACE TO JUST ENJOY THE BREATH TAKING VIEW OF THE CITY & RELAX.
This is first time I went and I love it. I’ve hiked for two hours around that area. I’d love to go back again.
Trail had beautiful views of the lake! It's a relatively shady trail for a hot August morning.
doesn't say you have to walk through mud and will get eaten by fire ants
Riding along water front trail is amazing.
Really nice park for walking along the bluffs
Nothing much for you to roam about and also beware of the rouge. I saw some when I came there once alone.
Scenery is beautiful
"Port Union Waterfront Park features nearly 4km of lakefront trail from the mouth of Highland Creek to Rouge River with views all the while. The area can be accessed from many different points including East Point Park to the west, /from Rouge Beach Park on the east /or through the pedestrian tunnel at the nearby Rouge Hill GO Station. "
Lovely hike from Rouge Go Station along the beach and then over a hill with a surprise hang glider, then into a forest/bird sanctuary.
Wild scenic trails and good to walking.
Great place to go for a walk.
The best area for sunrise and sunset. Just to enjoy or your favorite photos. There's a walkway straight down from the parking lot to the beach areas. Parking lot is more than big enough and free. At one time it was a popular spot for nude bathers but now signs posted no nudity. Just west of the park is a bird sanctuary. You can follow the paths east by bike or walking. Enjoy my photos
Lake views are stunning and there is a wide trail along the lake with lots of grassy areas to sit and enjoy the views. Nice spot to see migrating songbirds in the spring. Wish it had a restroom or even a portapotty.
Nice little park, good for evening walk, Lake views are beautiful and there are bird sanctuary pavilions for people can watch birds.
Beautiful landscape, relaxing
Nice and quiet place.
Nice & quiet little park with great view of lake Ontario both from atop the bluff & along the sandy beach. Met a bunch of cool guys who built a big wooden fort / hut on the beach.
Great view but not a great place for taking kids. And people there were being so inconsiderate, they were doing bbq on the trail!?! Lots of mosquitoes, so can’t be there when it’s close to sunset. And also while we were returning, we saw some drunk and probably “on drugs” public just got there. So won’t go back with my kids. Nope ????
Beautiful place to visit.. Go with your loved one, have a drink, enjoy the music.
Great place to bring dogs
Trail and view of the lake is amazing but the beach area was smelly and dirty.
Not long after the train tracks there's a parking lot on your right. We had originally parked there and saw at least 2 baseball diamonds. This didn't seem like the right place for a trail right beside the lake so we got back in the car and drove down the road for another couple of minutes. There's a treatment plant and another parking lot. We parked there and followed the paved trail towards, what we hoped, was the lake. It was very foggy that afternoon so the lake and sky blended in together and looked the same. A bit of the way down we started to see a small strip of sandy beach. We saw lots of geese but no other wildlife. If you continue on the trail you'll come to a fork. The trail that continues alongside the lake is to the Port Union Waterfront Park.
Great place to play softball. Has 4 large diamonds with fences. Well maintained.
Lovely place to visit. Lots of stuff to explore, visit and enjoy. One of the best and scenic bike trails, beach area, walking trails, birds sanctuary, calm and quiet atmosphere. This place is 15 minutes away from my home but i often go there for my bike rides strolling the trails with my family. Amazing place to spend time here with family. Beautiful Lake Ontario's beach and greenery will make you calm and relax.
Clean and well maintained ashphalt path. Plenty of dirt paths to walk through the woods and uptop of the bluffs. Great for long walks, peace and serenity with a nice breeze from the lake. When walking of the regular path, be aware of the cyclists that come speeding through as they dont slow down nor are most of them cautious.
Osm Location for click photos ????
Very relaxing view and place????
Beautiful paved trail right beside Lake Ontario in the East end of Toronto. Almost bordering Pickering, this trail can stretch to the Pickering waterfront. The trail is wide enough for bikes, pedestrians, bikes, children, etc. The Go train is also beside the trail and the further you go, you are nearby more residential areas. A great spot to go for a walk outside of the downtown core!
Nice peaceful park
Relaxing and its good place doing fishing!
Nice place. Safety in water must for me.
Serene, untouched and beautiful. Not too crowded
Well kept grounds
I like the place due to its location, just above the Clif where you can do a bonfire at night and BBQ in afternoon.
Its a nice place no parking charges two min walk to water great place for kids to play but much grass or park where u can sit .. logs and big rocks near the water where u can it.
I decided to check out part of the trail system as I had only been on the beach before. The trail that I took was muddy in some areas but it allowed for some very scenic overlooks of Lake Ontario. There is still so much more to explore here but I will save it for another day.
The water is so calm and beautiful here, however the sand is not clean and there is a lot of algae. It's near a water treatment plant so there is water gushing out of a big wide tunnel which I personally like to watch. There are spots with big rocks to rest by the water. It's not a busy place. Lots of parking. Hard to bring down a kayak though but the water would be nice for that if you want to go thru the short downhill hike. Some parts of the hike are steep, but you can find easier paths down.
Great place to just get out for a walk and enjoy the lake views.
I definitely loved it because it is so peaceful despite it's small size. But it has nice views on lake Onrario, and great for biking.
Enjoyed alot. Had Good memories
Nice spot ! Mosquitoe central once the it starts getting late, especially by the bluffs
Nice park with beautiful view
Nice and calm during the weekday. Need more forest paths and pond access.
Had to walk little to reach here!
We love East Point Park! Paths and beach access, always a lovely and often interesting hike/walk. Very often, lots of migratory Summer and Winter birds.
Gorgeous park with an amazing view of the bluffs and Lake Ontario shoreline.
Nice view.
Beautiful place. Not so crowded. You can get to the lakeshore and listen to the waves, very relaxing.
One of the best gifts of Mother Nature.
Great spot to watch the sunrise! Not much people.
Amazing public space, worth the the long ride from downtown!
Awesome beach if you can stand the old nude men.
Great place to watch lake Ontario east side from hill top. But sometime it's a bit smelly from a near water processing facility.
Nice trails and scenic places...
Epic views at East Point Park in winter ????
Absolutely beautiful!! Great place for a picnic or walking/biking the trails. There's a park and splash pad for kids.
Very nice views
Love this park, very nice for walking always !!
If u love silence nd nature this is the place for u
Good prices
A wonderful park with lots to explore and see.
Nice walking and cycling trails.
I live close near to this park so I usually come here for running or just a stroll. This is undoubtedly the one of the best trails and beach area in Scarborough. The sunrise view from here is breathtakingly beautiful.
Nice place to walk around too bad the water level is too high at the moment
Nice place for a short hike!
Beautiful walk, lake views and bird sanctuary is delightful. Highly recommended.
Very nice place to sit beside water.
A narrow beach with a fantastic view of Lake Ontario. Big wood trunks and rocks to sit around. From Parking area to lake, about 3 min by foot via pathway.
Beautiful view
Beautiful park for walking , hiking in waterfront trail and sports
One of my go to locations for sunset photography.
Not so clean but nice place
This park is one of my favourite, beach, walking trails, bluffs, bird watching, all in one park
A nice beach with great views of the cliffs. But the beach is the real reason to go.
Cool calm place with lots of greenery and serenity of the beach. Excellent place for meditation.
Love it
amazing mother nature ❤️❤️
Peaceful ....scenery is beautiful my son always takes me there we like to watch the ducks fly by
Beautiful place! Watch out for the flies!
One of my favourite parks in Scarborough. 100 times better over Bluffs. It's usually very quiet and private. Great for riding along the trail as well.
Great place to go for a hike, a lot of scenery and views. can be there for a few hours and explore.. bring some water to stay hydrated and snacks when having a pit stop.
Nice and fresh come and see your self.????????
Perfect place for a nature walk
Amazing place. Can walk on the beach or on the trails. A decent walk to where colonel Danforth park ends at the lake.
The parking lot is rather a far walk from the trail. Thus you should drive past the parking lot until you see a lot of cars parking along the curb. The best spot is where the rusty sign "East Point Park Bird Sanctuary" is erected.
A Little Known Toronto - Scarborough Park We love East Point Park for family adventures. Nestled along the Lake Ontario shores between Morningside Road and Port Union Road lies this little oasis. East Point Park has everything you need for a nice day with your family or a great way to spend the day with friends or your partners. It just happens to be one of Toronto's largest parkland areas along the City's east waterfront. Did you know It is also a migratory staging area for monarch butterflies and over 178 species of birds. There are many trails to explore and the park also has two level softball centre pavilion, washrooms, showers, change-rooms, umpire room, indoor lounge and outdoor patio. This is also one of the Parks that run along the Scarborough Bluffs. Like many of the parks along the water, there is always a nice cool breeze coming off the lake even on the hottest, muggiest days. Just off the trials, you can make way down to the beach, part sandy and part rocky shore. It's great for wading and calling off but be careful of the waves and the currents, there are warning signs everywhere, so swim at your own risk. You can also bring chairs and food so you can spend the day chilling out. East Point Park is a great way to spend the day.
Beautiful segment of the Scarborough Bluffs
One of the best softball complexes in Toronto. All 4 fields are properly maintained and groomed.
I think it’s a grrt place for cycling.. we just walked around , saw the beach ( which is really dirty ) and then clicked a few pictures from a mini cliff and done ✅.. the view is fine though
I stumbled upon this park by chance, and I am so thankful that I did. Not only is this park stunning, but it also has a trail leading to a forest, with the beauty surrounding it from all sides. The parking is free and decent. The entrance to the park was closed, but the butterfly conservation area was open. The trail leads to a small beach. It’s about 2 kilometers long and not very tiring. The exact route also leads to a more considerable parking lot and a water treatment plant. There is a small hill here which gives you vast views of Lake Ontario.
Nice place
The view is SPECTACULAR. We found a lovely vantage point in the bird conservation area - not many people either. What a gem. Amazing way to clear your head during the pandemic - please wear masks!
You can get a good amount of walking/biking at this Park but the path isn't maintained that well
Love this place, very peaceful.
Great place. Very beautiful
Was just a softball field. Or at least I wasn't able to get to any park or beach. But it was clean and peaceful so we had fun.
Beautiful place for getting away from the busy city. Breathtaking sunset and a magnificent view of Lake Ontario!
Nice paths. A bit muddy. We went on a coldish day in May and the air was totally thick with bugs. You will want to wear your mask unless you like inhaling 100 bugs every time you open your mouth! Will defo try again when it's warmer. You can go right down to the water which is amazing.
Beautiful
Really a cool place has little trail to walk or cycle great if some looking to climb mountain has great view on top.
Toronto has over 1000 parks. That said, East Point Park is not well known. This park is a bird sanctuary with a few main trails and a pond that has a super cool rusted steel concrete sitting area. In addition toy can access the lake and experience pebble beaches that change to sand littered with lots of interesting drift wood. Also there is even read sand. And the beach walk has amazing views of the bluffs in varying stages. But use caution inn the upper trails as the bluffs are naturally eroding and can fall. It is best to stay behind the safety barrier. Also, if you are in the beach make sure you get off while there is still light and don't get caught in a storm as some times tides can tarp you against the bluffs.
Happy to live near
Nice quite trail to walk and bike yourself and your dogs. Private beach too.
Beautiful trail on top of the bluffs and access to beach below. Very nice park to walk in. Connected to other waterfront parks by paved waterfront trail.
There are more beautiful places compared to this one. Although, if you are around the corner, you can give it a try. :)
Good trail for an evening walk.
Fantastic park, been coming here for years. Nice paved path, and excellent scenery.
Love it. Go for a 10k run with Betty, my dog ????, every weekend. If the smell from the water treatment plant is to be ignored, I would say it's an amazing experience.
Very good park the fields are kept in great condition washrooms always open and available
Great park to spend time with family and friends.
Not a busy park with picturesque bridges. Good place for a stroll and/ or biking and bird sanctuary for bird watching. There are certain areas where portion of the paved trail were damaged more likely because of the rising water level from the lake. It is close to a water treatment plant so it has the faint to strong sewage smell depending on your proximity to the plant.
This is a nice spot for either a leisurely walk through the Bird Sanctuary to the right of the parking lot. As you walk you will have lovely views of the lake in a more wooded rustic walk. To the left of the lot is a paved path that too follows along with the lake. There are many benches and garbage/recycling bins available. Along the water is a sandy beach area at some parts. The path travels east and break into 2 forks one leading to Port Union Waterfront (right) and the other to Colonel Danforth Park (left). I enjoy this location because I feel far away from the noise of the city and the sounds of the lake give me peace and calm. The only one downfall is the water treatment plant is right there, but to make lemonade out of a lemon it can make for some interesting photography.
Great for walking, biking etc along that stretch of lake Ontario. Skip rocks or just sit and watch the usually calm water. Great trail connection along the lake in east-west directions as well as north to and beyond the UofT Scarborough campus.
Nice small park for family or couples to spend some time.
It's an excellent point. Less crowded beautiful scenery
Awesome and Quiet
Lots to see and paths to explore, great views. Bike path is really good.
Hidden ????
Great park with beautiful Lake Ontario views, good fo cycling and hiking. Waterfront trail is really gorgeous. Free parking lot, no public washrooms. Usually not very clean grounds around…
It took me two years to discover this place! It's a tiny gem of a park in Scarborough's East end. Lovely tiny beaches, a hilltop for sunrise/sunset view, biking/hiking trail that take you all the way up to Port Union and Rouge Beaches. Plus, it's not as much crowded (Weekdays are even better!). There's adequate parking spots too.
The trail was nice and well kept and there were some nice views, however there were lots of bugs and a large portion of the trail smelled like dung and sewage.
Excellent place with a secluded little patch of beach with wonderful views.
Beautiful place.. been there during sunrise.. amazing experience
Place is nothing but full of mosquitoes. People who are allergic to mosquito bite, please be careful n take precautions before heading to this place. Otherwise it's a nice place for walk or biking or running.
There were so many nude men walking around on the beach. Is there something we should have known?
Be mindful of territorial ants, muddy/unclear pathways, broken glass and littering people. Otherwise this is a lovely place.
Great place to ride, run, take pics and just relax
Great place, not the cleanest of beaches however
Peaceful trail located right near lake, amazing view, quite, not too crowded, can easily get free parking
Nice quiet place with water great for dogs as well.
Locals only go to port union
Muddy
Peaceful
Beach is nice and very peaceful. Free parking. I went on Sunday and still it was not that busy just few people and kids playing with water. There no maintenance of this place whatsoever. You’ll see bottles cans and garbage everywhere so be careful. Other than that it’s very nice and quite beach.
Wonderful, gentle hike down to the beach
Beautiful especially on a sunny day ????
Pristine, calming, fresh
Lovely beach area to relax
Very quiet and not many people visits here. View is amazing. Truly hidden gem!
Amazing place , doesn't matter the time of the year.
Very nice beach and park for the family
Beautiful trail leading towards Pickering frenchmen's bay. Good for hiking if you're wearing proper shoes. From there, You can see beautiful view of lake ontario.
Great view of the lake.
Beautiful waterfront trail and beach!! Good place to walk and enjoy picnic!!
Lovely views, walking, riding trails.
Fairly well maintained for a public park
Beautiful walk thru the woods .. Lots of birds .. Shady walk along the path .. Loved it!
Beautiful VIEWS
Its beautiful.. so relaxing to be out there.. it's a nice place to go for walk or run and breathe the fresh air..
My favorite biking destination so far
its my special place when i need to chill out with nature and the hikes arent to strenuous on the knees ,you also have a beautiful view of the sea
One of my favorite places in Scarborough. I love going there for a walk.
Nice trail with a good view of the lake along the cliffs. One of my favorite spots.
Beautiful, not too many people. Don’t go please :)
This beach - when the lake level recedes! - is the reason we Guildwood residents don't have to move to Vancouver. Lovely, secluded place to stroll, picnic and walk the dog.
The park is so good for spending evening time The park is so close to TTC transit The park has a kids play area The trail along the waters were so pleasant and beautiful ????
part of Great lakes waterfront trail
Omg ticks like crazy! Be careful guys. They are out hard this year
Worth the drive off the main road. A very short walk to get a terrific view. Grab a coffee at Shirley Delicious before you go
Beautiful spot - small beach but nice trails around it.
Good ball diamonds. Although it would be nice if there were concessions
Very nice park with a nice trial to walk on. Also very close to the port union waterfront trial which is also beautiful
Very nice place to spend a summer weekend
Nice place for hike.
Very beautiful trail.
Nice place for a casual hike, nice breeze from the water.
You see the beauty of the Creator, Abba Father. You find peace and solace....
I went there this summer. It’s a beautiful park. Plenty of free parking spaces. You can walk down the well decorated walkways or through the trail in the jungle and reach a small beach. Some people come here for bird watching.
A great place to have some peaceful time
Beautiful park, nice walking or bike trail. Kids loved sandy beach and picking sea glasses...
Wen't here to explore a more secluded portion of the Scarborough Bluffs. The scenery is exemplary. Taking a star off for the plethora of fire ants around a large portion of the bluff and beach area. Also another for what appears to be several male 'naturalists' who seem to roam the beaches alone....
Very good place for biking and evening walk.
Lovely park, clean beach! A little walk from parking but definitely worth it !
Beautiful place very peaceful
Nice location couls use some improvements around trails.
The beach area is pretty good. I think this is the attraction at East Point Park.
Beautiful park by the lake. All amenities closed. Too many people everywhere to really enjoy. Very hilly and not easy walking in places
Awesome, if you don't mind the smells)))
Lovely views of the lake
Great place to walk, bike or hike on the many trails.
Nice place but it looks like the water levels of risen resulting in limites beach space to setup a place to relax. And the bugs have are a lot worse after 8pm. Even Fter bug spray
Beautiful undiscovered wilderness area.
A nice urban park with lake view. Very pleasant and fit for strolling.
Lovely water & trails
This Park has some very nice trails to walk along!!.
Beautiful park grounds .. Great views for photos . Lovely scenery and feels private...there is also a beach
Well-maintained park with 4 softball diamonds. Lights at night and washroom facilities on-site. Lots of parking spaces. Can sometimes have issues with geese, or a funky smell from the water treatment plant nearby. Can be hard to find.
This is a very nice and sort of secluded park that not many people go to. Probably because of the area (factories and what not) but it's really nice! I'd definitely recommend it if you wanna go for a hike and follow a simple trail with some really nice views. The breeze is always nice here too!
Its was a.nice place very calm and quiet
Great Lakes Trail - Another gem in Toronto!
Nice place to relax take fresh air.
Its nice place to see in spring and summer. Now the parking is closed but can park on road side and do walking.
There is an unofficial nude beach behind the Baseball stadium, but to get to it will require walking down steep cliff. Alternative is to take path from parking lot to beach and head west. Watch out for red ants and annoying mosquitoes.
It was a great visit, it might be covid, but everyone was taking all distance precautions and the water was beautiful. Perfect for a weekend walk.
Great trails to walk!
Great walk through the trees!
One of the most beautiful views alongside the south eastern bluffs of the GTA. I always stop by during my hikes/bike rides to admire the view. You will see many wildlife like deers, falcons/hawks, blue jays, and rabbits. Always a joy walking through here and meeting like-minded people who also appreciate this gift of nature.
Beautiful view so peaceful watching the beach give you such seranity
It was a beautiful evening my friend and I decided to go for a walk. It was a gorgeous end.
Lots of trails and secluded spots on the 3 mile long beach
Nice view over Ontario lake.
Incredible location. Ball diamonds are kept in top top shape. Nice and cool by the lake as well.
Always love to come to this place
