One of the oldest stone houses in Northern Ontario. The Ermatinger Old Stone House is part of the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site. Definitely a place to visit!

It's a cool, historic house to see, inside it is left as it would be from the late 1800's. Can see the rooms, and go to the basement to see what it was like. Very cool down there, nice on a hot summer's day. On display are heritage and vintage items that belonged to that era.

It's the story of the Sault... definetly worth the visit. It's a charming atmosphere and you learn a lot about the city!

Had a family dinner ???? in the old stone house. The 2 ladies that greeted us were fantastic people. They were both well knowledgeable about the past of the house. The food was fantastic and fresh. It was locally grown vegetables and the desert was cooked in the wood fireplace. I cannot say enough how pleasant they made the experience. I highly recommend for everyone to at least try it once. Thank you for the amazing time.
