There was no veterans discount for general admission and the prices seemed high in contrast to other northern Ontario museums.

6 Dollars to get in, which is steep to walk through a building and look at old stuff. There is rich history, but it's just as interesting to visit some of the old landmarks.

Budget 2 hours - there is a lot to absorb. Lots of info on logging, fur trade, homesteading, even World War I. Neato displays are very interesting - not just words and pictures. Buy the package which includes this, the "Old Stone Houses", and Bushplane Museum.

Janice Lam

Attended the museum for a special music night, it had a lot of interesting exhibits and lovely performers. My favourite part was the gift shop, it had free art kits and neat vintage buttons. I wish there was more signage to help direct the flow of people. Overall I enjoyed my visit at the museum!
