The University Arboretum is a lovely place to visit and walk around. You will find rows of beautiful trees. The one downfall of this place is parking.

Nice place for a relaxing stroll. Lots of different trees and shrubs. You access the garden off Preston Ave so biking there is a bit tricky.

A beautiful and educational gem within the equally beautiful city of Saskatoon. Well worth setting aside an hour or two for a peaceful stroll, where one can see plenty of examples of prairie hardy (and not so hardy) woody plant material. The arboretum is well maintained and constantly added to. It is very gratifying to see a living collection of different species and cultivated varieties of trees & shrubs, some of which are not used any longer but certainly stand as a reminder of what was used in decades past. The lilac collection in particular is really impressive!

Beautiful garden to walk around in. Great for pictures.

Nice place. Some of the shrubs and trees are lovely and some are trying to survive. I like the concept of the place and it is worth a visit but it is tricky to get to, very close to the freeway, and it's appeal starts and ends with the shrubs and trees. My sister likes to go to photograph insects.

Great little hidden gem!

Beautiful garden located across from the university

Jackie Price

A nice quiet place to enjoy nature. There's a bench and a few wooden chairs to sit on so you may want to bring a lawn chair or blanket. It's the university's research garden so there's a lot of beautiful tress and flowers to look at with lots of room to walk between everything.

This is an amazing little gem, tucked away in the middle of Saskatoon. My understanding is they have one of every species of tree / bush that grows natively or will grow year round in saskatchewan. Always find something new!
