River Landing is one of Saskatoons main attentions it hosts many of the cities events year round. It is located in downtown Saskatoon along the Meewasin Trail and the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. You will find many people walking running cycling or even just hanging out enjoying the beauty of the area year round. A few other things River Landing has is a spray park that is on in the summer and I t is designed as the the South Saskatchewan River and explains the city and towns it runs through as well as the weir samba fish and more. It also has a a concession that is open in the warmer parts of the yea. It has numerous different snacks such as ice cream and food. Their is a seating area there with a few tables as well. Just up from there and visible from a long ways away is the Remai Modern Art Gallery as well just to name a few things in River Landing

Saskatoon is a great city to run in. Trails along the river are paved, clean and well maintained. The Bridges are all accessible, but my favourite is going across the train bridge for a view of the whole downtown, then along the east side of the river to the old low bridge by River landing. Running from downtown this is about 8km.

Such a beautiful place. This is a reclaimed area, and it's absolutely wonderful. There are so many events that get held here, and so many activities that you can do. There is a water park for the kids, bathrooms, chess boards, benches, art and architecture, and a beautiful few of our lovely river. I would strongly recommend walking across a bridge or two. There are fun buildings all around, so nobody could get bored. Anyone could spend a full day here and not get bored!! Make sure you check out the trails :-)

Nice busy place, really lively. it's got fun artwork, windy paths, lets you fly down on a bike or stroll to the side watching the river flow. Buskers and dance groups, pokemon players and skate boarders all turn up along with families and young lovers.

Absolutely beautiful park! Wonderfully groomed, and such gorgeous landscaping are architect. We all loved the artwork that was done professionally and impromptu. The kids loved looking at the painted rocks and choosing their favorites. But the star of it all was the absolutely fantastic splash park! It was gorgeous, fun, and informative! The smaller kids adored the replica of the lazy Saskatchewan river, and played with it for hours. The bigger kids had the time of their lives in the more intense splash areas where the water tumbled off the umbrella or shot at them. Us adults loved being able to walk around and enjoy the informative plaques that were sprinkled around the area, and still allowed us to see all the kids. Personally, I loved the eco approach to the water waste, and use of grasses/reeds to clean and purify before it's final journey back to the river. Was definitely the best slash park we have ever been to, and will hold a special place in the kids hearts.

People that live in Saskatoon like to complain about how lame Saskatoon is but lowkey riverlanding is pretty dope. Really nice places to walk, beautiful views, decent attractions like the remai and riverlanding snacks (I prefer the latter because I love milkshakes). You get a little taste of nature with all the parks and river views and a little taste of city cause you're downtown and stuff. Also as a parkour athlete, riverlanding has some pretty dope training spots like the pump house or those stone benches by the remai roundabout. Yeah I dig riverlanding for sure, no cap.

Love it and question it ... It's awesome that the city has preserved the riverfront ... Sort of. There is a plaque in honor of Joni Mitchell. Her song was a reminder NOT to pave paradise for a boutique and a swinging hot spot. And yet, look at what the city has allowed right in view of the plaque along the river.

The food was just ok, nothing special. We had the fixed price menu...one had the celeriac Caesar and chicken salad, one had pierogies and the tourtiere, desert was chocolate turine. Perogies were good, the bonito flakes were just ok as a topping. Couldn't figure out where the apple and horseradish was in the Caesar salad. The chicken salad had huge pieces of red and green cabbage which were hard to cut. The whole chicken breast looked perfectly cooked. The tourtiere was ok, the best part was the roasted veggies. Came with 2 packets of Heinz ketchup.....when we asked about them, we were told it's kind of their nod to homey, rustic food. Uh ha. The dessert was weird....it came with a yellow sauce that had no taste. We were told it was cold pressed canola oil. Why?? It added no flavour to the dish but made your brain think it was getting something lemon. The chocolate turbine was very good but the sea salt, oil and ity bity piece of meringue on it were not needed. Maybe a mixed berry coulis would have tasted better. Service was very good. Location kind of a mixed bag.....on one hand you have the river, on the other hand, you're looking at the freeway....

The river is my favourite place to be in the summer. The trails are beautiful and theres usually some kind of event happening. Shakespeare on Saskatchewan, the Childrens Festival, Taste of SK and of course the Jazz Fest just to name a few. I enjoy walking there at night listening to the faint sounds of water rushing with the lights bouncing off the water and enjoying the fresh air.

This is a wonderful outdoor experience, walking along the river, bike, or skateboarding. There are good sitting spots as well as areas to grab an ice-cream, workout in a public activities area and also a waterpark for the kids. Access to the river is also there for those with boats and jet skii to who wish to engage in water sports or activities on the river. Away from the river are the coffee shops, Bagel shops and a Farmer's Market. There is something for everyone in River Landing.

Great place to go and watch hipsters in their natural habitat. Last time I was here I watched a group of them gentrify the surrounding neighbourhood in a matter of hours! Within minutes of arriving they had built a bar that only serves local craft beer, opened up sixteen cafes in a one block radius, and a restaurant where hundred dollar meals are served on the lids of trash cans! Om nom nom. I was also lucky enough to watch two hipsters vie for the attention of another by seeing who could recite more poems from Bukowski. 10/10 Don't Try

This is a huge part of our local tourism. The boat is a Restaurant that goes up and down the river, I've never been, but I hear it's lovely. The art museum and a good portion of river landing are also in the background. There was an orchestra playing in the bowl. It's awesome.

Fantastic park, close to farmers market, bike rentals, ice cream and theaters. Always something happening down here. If you want a nice adventure, Saskatoon did one heck of a good job on this. I venture down here every week. Go out for a ride or walk!

River Landing is a very pleasant park especially in the summer. Like all downtown parks there is limited parking and you have to pay during weekdays and Saturday during the day. Very close proximity for restaurants, coffee shop and bars. Every year the Potashcorp fireworks festival is held here.

Aside from the adult spray park night not being a thing it’s a pretty great place. If you’re looking for rocks to throw into the river I might suggest walking to the west side of Idylwyld Bridge and hopping down onto the big rocks. Walk towards the water and there should be some good ones there. Don’t throw them onto the bridge though.

The city of Saskatoon is a beautiful place to live or to visit. Our river is full of beautiful architecture and landscaping. River landing offers many activities and little treats along the way like the concessions and outdoor gym. At this location there is a spray park for families and very kids friendly. Public washrooms and water fountains are located alone the beautiful river. Don't forget our amazing bridges and sky high views of wonderful buildings. I recommend every one visits our river and our city and its beauty

A lovely place to exercise, stroll, have a snack and enjoy the views! The snack kiosk not only has traditional food like hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream, but borsht, Ukrainian plate, and even fresh popcorn with real butter! The exercise machines in a springy foundation offer challenging or easy workouts. Instructions are attached to each machine. The Chinese pavilion is beautiful and the tinkling wind chimes nearby are interesting to see and hear!
