A marvel! I felt it’s Eiffel Tower taking a power nap (horizontally). It’s remarkable to see how to developed nations shares border and most of it with fresh water, and lives in harmony. The water is turquoise blue on a clear day. Very close to get to from Sarnia Town Center.

Clearly one of the best attractions in sarnia. For the fry trucks, the incredible scenery, and just being able to join up and meet new people.. Two border patrolmen entering Canada. One was super nice and seemed interested in my trip. The other was very rude and kept asking me the same question over and over. The repetitive questions may have been compulsory but the patrolman was not welcoming at all.

The “BLUE WATER BRIDGE”, is a busy international border crossing between the US and Canada. The massive architecture of the “Blue Water Bridge” acts as the main focal point. The blue waters of Lake Huron and the clean, swift currents of the St. Clair River, provides enough composition to make this a masterpiece for the Port Huron, Michigan and Sarnia, Ontario landscape and skyline’s. It provides excellent photo opportunities and is a marvel to sit and gaze at.

This is a great place to go for evening walks. The river is beautiful and you can see the other side of border. This is my favourite place to go chill and unwind. In winters this place offers great views of ice chunks clinking and flowing down the river.

Please remember that this a NO idle Zone. Love the view and watching people fish. Do not like the constant sound of the A/C kicking on/off as well as for heat for colder nights. Lights are really pretty. Great place to watch the weather too.

There are two times that we had to wait. The first was to pay the bridge toll, which was $3.25 cash. We could not use the E-ZPass. The second was to pass through the border security. Total wait today was about 45 minutes at 2:00 pm.

Great place to get snack from the vending trucks in the summertime. Great view especially if you don't have to drive over the bridge to the USA, lol. Watch the water, various boats and seadoos drive by, some silly folks jump off under the bridge into the strong current waters and just people watching, and if people on the bridge could see you as they are waiting to go over to the other side "wave". Don't miss the pond with trout. If you have any kids (or a big kid like me) I enjoy feeding the trout from the $0.25 dispenser and watch them go for the food pellets. Nice place to go fishing as well - note: just stay away from other fishermen as they are very aggressive and don't like it when you are new and in their vicinity.

I have been there for the first time. I really amazed by this place. It is nice and beautiful. You fell as if you are literally in Canada. Water is blue and is a visual feast. You could sit on the rocks planted on the banks. Cool water touches your feet and it's really a pleasant Experience and stress reliever. People does boating on this river. There is no cruise available here, all you see are the private boats. There is a small light house here.

Views of the Bridge, River and Lake are stunning, any time of the year, but some seasons maybe better suited for a swim. Fish and Chippy Wagon offers tasty food. What an amazing place! I came here with my friend and we enjoyed the fries, poutine and hot dogs from the food trucks. The water in the river runs a beautiful blue. There are beaches all around and parking is free. The walkway path beside the river is lined with flowers. Will definitely revisit next time I'm in Sarnia! Enjoy!

The Blue Water Bridge is one of my absolute favorite places on earth and it's very easy to see why when you go. It's the most calming place wherever you sit. I personally like to sit on the rocks right beside the bridge and watch the boats go by and the waves crash (Its a lot of fun when the waves crash onto you). The bridge is quite beautiful itself, when it gets dark out, blue lights come on. I find that so wonderful. I can't wait to go back. :)

I lived in Port Huron for about 15 years but moved away 7 years ago. Recently I had the opportunity to come back for a day. All I can say is wow. When I left there was very little activity on the water front. There were some walkers and some fishermen but nothing like that day. I'm not sure what all the bridge area has to offer but the food truck "what the fry" was busy and there were people everywhere. Good job Port Huron

This park is a nice place to walk with good views of the bridge to Canada. The bridge usually has bumper to bumper traffic on both sides. Needless to say, there was no traffic when I was there during the pandemic! I was in Port Huron to get my COVID vaccine and just stopped by to enjoy the view. The water was a beautiful turquoise and moving very fast.

A beautiful place to enjoy your morning coffee! There is always people walking their dogs, going fishing or going for a run and there is a reason! Day or night, it's stunning! If you opt out of walking, pull up one of their many benches and watch the frieghters go by. Some other features worth mentioning are the statues, informational signs about the areas past & historical photos, and purplely-blue lights that decorate the bridge at night.

It's probably the best thing/place that Sarnia has to offer. Parking by the bridge is something that many people do as couples or singles (hit me up ;)) it's very peaceful and calming. Watching the water flow by with loads of boat traffic In the summer along of all the photographers too. People are fishing, it's honestly really nice. If you are lucky there is a guy in the summer that rides here on his bike with a large bird and he will let you hold it. I took these pictures as I wrote this too. There's a park for kids along with a fish farm too. And a fry truck.

Stopped to rest here on a motorcycle trip. A lot of people were hanging out at this location and we met some and it was a pleasant experience. Haven't crossed the bridge as I still have to get my license upgraded. We were in the area on an unplanned motorcycle trip with friends on the 4th of July. Riding at night because it was in the 90s with high humidity during day. Highly recommend it. ✌????

Great to visit year round. Enjoy a walk along the riverfront and stop for lunch at one of the Chip wagons by the bridge. You can watch the ships pass by or if you are an advanced scuba diver visit the Marine life under the water.

If you are in Sarnia, go to the bridge. Nice view great breeze. A few friends told us to visit the Blue Water Food Truck while at the bridge. Sorry to disappoint my friends but the poutine is nothing special and a little on the expensive side at $9.50 for a half clamshell.

We go here every year for some food truck fries right before the school year! It's so nice to sit and watch the boats. The path takes you down to a big hill and it's become a tradition to run down the hill Every year. I definitely recommend this for families looking for something small to do on weekends or summers!

Sarnia crossing is the best option to visit Canada from Midwest side IMO. The other option is Detroit tunnel which is pretty crazy with all the trucks and traffic.

What an excellent example of what to do with your waterfront. The park is a perfect place to have a picnic, scenic walk, going fishing, and the bridge is a structurally pleasing marvel of engineering.

Feeding the fish, playing at the playground, midnight stroll, longboarding, biking, eating poutine, concerts, splashed, basketball, river runs, watching the boats pass by, offering tobacco... the best place to visit for any reason... and I think the souls memorial is a very beautiful tribute to the Aamjiwnaang people's sacred ground (also was an Indian burial), I love visiting it at night.

Awesome location for a concert. Major downfall was the EXTREME lack of bathrooms for the massive amount of people. Same goes for the beer line. Just a massive mosh pit crowd, pushing hard towards the front.

What the Fry, is where I stopped under the Blue Water Bridge. Great Smash burgers and Fries, the burgers reminded me of a double decker slider and the fries where a cross between carnival fries and homemade. They were both great, the price was a little high. Then again, they were parked on the property that has a well known higher dollar restaurant. Therefore the burgers had to be that price for the location.

While we quite understand this is an old bridge, as the only means of border crossing between Canada and the US it is a relic. Given the number of vehicles there must be an alternative created. With the line up to the toll booth and the line upon the bridge to the border, we wasted 2.5 hours crawling at snail's pace. Besides being a waste of time it also is a waste of fuel. Not to mention the pollution all these vehicles must be creating. However as a piece of engineering marvel this bridge is great. And the view around, when on the top, quite priceless.

Beneath the blue water bridge on the canadian side is a beautiful park. It's a great viewing area for watching the ships coming in off the lake or heading out to the lake. Lots of parking and a couple French fry trucks if you're looking for a quick snack. The casino is next to this park if you wanna try your luck.

The Blue Water Bridge is a twin-span international bridge across the St. Clair River that links Port Huron, Michigan, the United States, and Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. The Blue Water Bridge connects Highway 402 in Ontario with both Interstate 69 (I-69) and Interstate 94 (I-94) in Michigan. We went to this place by 8oclock and damn it was soo wonderful there. Bridge have blue lights which reflect in the water and the water gets with the blend of blue yellow and white light just makes it glazed water. It's very clean and hygienic and the second best thing is the USA and Canada flag showing secularism both the end got both their flags. This is must visit place

Views of this bridge and from it are spectacular. Traffic is usually a bit slow but to be expected when crossing borders. Only have pics from below as sadly i was driving and not able to take pics from the topside. Obviously the summer pics are more fun to look at and during better weather container ships and freighters are always cool to watch. They pass through here about every 15 mins or so.

Around mid day, it gets unusually busy, in particular on Fridays to enter the United States from Ontario. Early morning or late evening works significantly better when there are less lines.

This is the better of the border crossings between Ontario and Michigan. I've never had much issue at either the US or Can side of the crossing and, for the most part, the agents are either in a neutral or positive mood. The lines to cross (pre-Covid) were longer but not entirely off-putting. I would recommend this crossing over the one in Windsor any day!

We take a drive to this bridge Everytime we go visit family that live not to far from it. It's so beautiful and peaceful at night time. My kids love to watch the big trucks drive over the bridge and the boats in the water.

When we want to get away from Ipperwash Beach for an isolated drive, quite often we sit in our car, under the bridges to Port Huron and watch the pleasure craft and the monster size lake freighter go by. I never get tired of looking at these ships. It is a simple, safe escape from being locked down.

Beautiful place to be, I personally prefer sunrise. The air is so clear and fresh coming off the lake right down the road you have Gratiot park or in the other you’ll find light house beach. There’s modern art adorned and if you look at the bricks beneath the flag poles you’ll find names of locals who wanted to be apart of the board walk forever.
