Very difficult climb. Not for the faint of heart, the unfit or those who are older. It is very steep, there are alot of steps which are broken and it is easy to fall. We did not make it because our group involved those who could not climb well. The views were beautiful and it is a wild waterfall, but again this is a very difficult climb which is something to keep in mind for those who have never been

(Translated) The water was very cold before 2019, but since Spring 2019 the dam is no longer functional so the water is a bit warmer. This natural site is unique. It is necessary to use the pedestrian work site to access and descend many steps. Parking is on the other side of the street where there are condominiums and Mont Ste-Anne station.
(Translated) I hear several people say they went to this trail to go see the beautiful fall but for us impossible to get there ... the steps are very poorly maintained and steep then a tree blocking the trail near (kind of) vantage point ... We turned around unfortunately. Too bad there are no more indications, because we seem to be able to see a beautiful fall.
(Translated) I find everything that I am looking for with precision (Original) Je trouve tout se que je cherche avec precision
(Translated) A beautiful place, even if you can't get down to the falls! The stairs have been closed for a while and it is impossible to descend to the bottom of the falls. The surrounding trails remain pleasant and offer magnificent scenes. PS: if the steps are open to your visit, make sure you are relatively fit before going down, because it is a good climb!
(Translated) Hiking spot or just to go and relax near waterfalls and falls. A perfect place for any landscape photographer. To have!!
(Translated) Beautiful trails and the fall is worth pursuing to the end.
Nice place to spend time hiking, sunbathing and a picnic. And the waterfall is beautiful to see.
Free parking, easy-intermediate hike on natural rugged terrain.
(Translated) Trail with 386 steps to descend and of course to climb! The falls are magnificent!
(Translated) We found a waterfall from a photo in Google, it turned out that the stairs to it were abandoned, but people climb there anyway, because the waterfall is worth it. To get there, you need to drive a couple of minutes ahead from the point indicated by Google, cross the bridge and park at the first exit-parking. The parking lot is wild, right in front of the field. Enter the field and immediately take to the right to the forest. Descent to the waterfall - also keep to the direction of walking through the forest, you can hear the road on the right. It turns out that the descent goes under the same bridge that we passed.
Found stairs closed. Looks permanent.
Closed at the moment
Pretty, easy trek
(Translated) I loved these beautiful but do not go after a rainy day (Original) J'ai adorée ces magnifiques mais ne pas aller après une journée de pluie
(Translated) Beautiful fall, access is still prohibited, the staircase is prohibited from access but in full renovation, tradesmen are refurbishing it, the work is well advanced, it should be completely renovated from spring 2022 To be continued !!
(Translated) Magnificent ! (Original) Magnifique !
(Translated) Place with beautiful nature, but the staircase is very poorly maintained and is extremely dangerous. There is a real risk of falling and serious or even fatal injuries. I do not advise tourists. Nature: 10 Entretien escaliers: 0
(Translated) Very pretty place but be careful going down the stairs because many are in poor condition and you risk falling (Original) Endroit très jolie mais faire attention en descendant les marches d’escaliers car beaucoup sont en mauvaise état et vous risquer de chuté
(Translated) Impressive Falls! Despite the closing of the stairs???? (Original) Impressionnantes Chutes! Malgré la fermeture de l'escalier????
(Translated) Magnificent place where you can even swim at the bottom of the fall.
(Translated) Superb, one of the highest falls in Quebec apparently. You have to be in good shape to get to the bottom and come back up. Tip, do not stop at the observation decks during the descent. You would greatly benefit from it during the ascent!
Wow!!!
(Translated) The staircase to get to the bottom and see the great fall is barricaded for work. However, the path that leads to the stairs is still functional (despite the presence of signs indicating the opposite). You can easily get to a small, modest, but nice waterfall. Even with a young child, it just takes 15 min. This portion is entirely in the shade, although the heat remains present. If you go with young children, the use of a stroller is strongly discouraged (unless you have very large wheels), because there are rocks everywhere. The parking lot is a large empty field at coordinates: 47.076494818589204, -70.89920614947724. We see the sign announcing "St-Ferréol des Neiges". If you passed rue simard, you missed it.
(Translated) Canyoning practice on the site! (Original) Pratique de Canyoning sur le site !
We did not actually make it to the waterfall, it looks very beautiful though. However getting there might be dangerous. We tried from the west where there is a steep path down. Avoid the wooden stairs as they are old and rotten, so the are likely to break once you step on it. We only made it to the tower. It was struck by lighting and it is also extremely dangerous to go there, just look at the pictures. If you want to get to the waterfall, get help from a person who knows around the area.
