“Day out with Thomas” every summer at St. Thomas, Elgin Memorial Centre. Fun for kids who love Thomas the tank engine. Give 4 stars because ticket is a little pricey. Don’t forget to visit the train museum if you have time, admission is included in the Thomas ticket.

I went to go get my vaccine and the process was flawless and exceeded my expectations. They request that people don't enter too early before their appointment to maintain proper social distancing protocols (walk up 5 minutes prior to your appointment time). Everything is digital and all interlinked. There was no line ups at all, and they had more than enough desks and semi-private cubicles while you get your shot. There was lots of parking available. After you get your shot you have to wait for 15 minutes in a waiting area monitored by health professionals. There is a black pop-up tent (the ones outdoor vendors have) incase you have a reaction you will also have privacy. At the time of this review they had Pfizer, and is one of the places 16-17 year olds must book at (due to Moderna not being approved for under 18 yet) so they'll probably always have Pfizer. You can even call the day of and ask if you really want to. Once you arrive you'll be greeted by a security guard / staff who asks for your name and appointment time. From there, the staff will walk you through every step of the way, some even had bright orange flags. Very well ran clinic.

It is currently Sat July 13 at 1pm and the dominos pizza ran out of pizza and the ONE food truck has taken about 30min to get fries. Was this thought out right? Another snack, drink or food option would have been great. It was just okay especially for a TV show so popular. They could have had one more bouncy castle because line up for the kids in the heat doesn't work. We won't be back.

Skate Canada gives skating lessons here for most of the year. Memorial Gardens also hosts events, such as the annual visit by Thomas the Train. Ample parking.

Went for my covid shot, it was quick and simple to get in. Everything was super clean and the lady who did mine was amazing. I'm terrified of needles even had my mom sit with me lol. Went for my 2nd covid shot. I didn't realize I needed an appt but I walked in and the security at the front door walkie talkied someone to see if they had spare doses and they had lots. I appreciated the process so much, they're doing it right there, so efficient, lots of volunteers, friendly, helpful, clearly communicating. There was barely a wait the day I went and a week later when my husband went. He took about 20 min with no appt and I took maybe 45, that's including the 15 min wait at the end. Great job, guys!
