I enjoyed the trails and the fresh air. Would have never guessed underneath the grass is a mound of garbage. Glad we could restore the appeal to this so called "dump". Fun times in the kits.

Darshan Mistry

Taghi Farmani

This is a large bowl shaped park in the middle of the city near Brock university. It's free and so is the ample parking. I was disappointed by the lack of picnic tables. The trails are mostly grassy and not a lot of trees, but it's interesting seeing nature reclaim this spot.

Tammy Kingston

This is a beautiful place to go for a walk. And see different types of birds and fish..

Adam Caverhill

Beautiful hike, unique in that while it's firmly in nature there's almost no trees making a nice hike of rolling hills. Great views of the city, some surreal structures.

Cam Johnson

Really enjoyed my first visit to Glenridge Quarry. I went mountain biking with my girlfriend on the trails and we really enjoyed ourselves/views. We even got alittle close and personal with a couple deer. Will definitely be returning. The main trail could use some markers but it is what it is.

This is nice and quiet place not far from the city. There are few trails which are clean and educational. There is a pond and a wooden deck with some benches to enjoy that quiet moment. Fishing is not allowed. It is a large area and I have not explored it yet but soon I will go there and update.

Siddharth Pathak

A nice quite place right behind the quarry view residence of brock university. The place has educational set up where children can come and learn about different atmospheric and geographic phenomena. It also has a hill from which you can actually see most parts of St.Catharines.

Sara Scott

Great off reading trails, not great for a regular stroller. I needed my jogging stroller with larger wheels.

sweetpea gauthier

the place is nice but as all good yhings go people have over taken this tranquil piece of nature snd turn it into a dumping ground and dog park - thete is a by law to leash dogs but very few do - urs out of control out thete

First time here, it was a good clean, pretty clear path for hiking. There's several different paths that lead up to the same area or centre of it. You won't get lost. Cool view of the pond area and people go there for skating around this time. It was nice to see.

This is a great place for an easy hike. The paths are well maintained and are quite extensive so you won’t be stuck to taking the same walk every time you go. The childrens play area isn’t what it used to be but there’s still fun to be had there. I love heading to the pond to see all the fish.

Quan Than

Jessica Derzak

Jordyn Leppard

Great place for a walk, especially if you have babies. The path is great for strollers or early walkers. They also have a kids nature area with tunnels, informational boards about the weather, play spots. At the back, there's a nice fenced dock to feed the fish and birds. There's also a gazebo with picnic tables. There are usually a lot of dogs here, but almost always on leash. There's not a lot of cover from the sun, cover up and bring sunscreen! The full loop probably takes about 2-3 depending on your speed.

Dan & Nancy Andrews

There are a few well hidden homeless encampments at the West end of the Park but it is remarkably clean. I was very displeased to see no fishing signs near the pond. A sign warning of toxic fish and catch and release only would have been more appropriate. The pond is teaming with catfish and is a great place for children to learn angling as long as they catch and release. The park also needs a lot more trees along the trails. Savannah is a very important habitat also but this is a long wide open park for a hot summer day. They have some cool sculpture and items around the children's playground. Overall a pleasant place to visit but still nowhere near a natural area.

Patty Park

Went out for a walk here for the first time with the kids and loved it!

Derek Hounslow

Best hidden gem... I've driven past this place for 20 years... Told about from a friend as it's huge and easy to social distance during covid... Kids love it.. Always very little people.

Sheldon Macdonald (Shelcase)

Used to spend a lot of time here at night

Caleb Moffett

Great for walks or jogs, couple different structures for children to play on and around, nice pond and the Bruce trail cuts through a section leading to a nice mountain bike trail, definitely check out this spot!

Jeremy McMaster

Nice place to go on a hike. That said, stay on the gravel paths. Ticks are everywhere in the long grass.

Lord Open

A very nice place for a hike.

Delaney Hansen

Nice trail with lots of options and different paths!

TriloTigger

Great place for a short nature walk, very popular with dog walkers. Just stay to the gravel paths and check over your dogs before you head home because there are definitely ticks in the grass

Kelley Evans

Easy scenic walking. Location is in town with great trails. A map of route options is conveniently located at the start, and parking is available. Have an hour or so? It's worth the visit

Aaron Belding (thatABDguy)

Awesome park located behind the student residences and Shaver hospital on the mountain. Educational interactive pieces for the kids along with great scenery and hike path for all.

Swithin Pais

Quite peaceful park with decent trails, keeping in mind that the trails lack adequate foliage so avoide visiting on hot sunny days unless you're fine with that. There's sufficient parking for about 20 to 30 cars. Still a lot for me to explore.

Adrian McNair

Great place to bring the kids for a soft hike always good to get out and stretch the legs in the evening!!

Daniel “DankDruid” Fenning

15 years ago, it was a dump... Not its an Eco Park. Very nice upgrade, if you ask me!

Once a Municipal landfill, now a beautiful eco park

Henry Zwolak

Coming here, is to escape the city. Yet,you're still in the city. Walking here with your kids, with your pets, or significant others, is a pleasure. The trails are everywhere. There is a beautiful pond here ( no fishing), that you can sit beside and enjoy. If you walk to the highest point, you will be rewarded with a great view of lake and Toronto in the distance. This is another one of St.Catharines best kept secrets.

CoCo Shonell

Beautiful outdoor scenery. Had an amazing walk and enjoyed the pond as well

Chinmay Patel

Debb Wayland

Beautiful space for a walk, fine gravel trails, gentle rolling hills, awesome deck to look out over pond, playground with theme for kids, and did I mention the Naturalization areas? I walked on a rainy fall day, which ended up being more misty. So glad I explored there with a friend...plan to return and explore another trail segment. Fall colours are beginning...

Wide open fields, big duck pond, access to the Bruce Trail along the top of the escarpment. Only downside is the highway noise.

Theresa Solomon

A relaxing walk with beautiful scenery. I spent the afternoon taking photos and walking Rylie. There is a very scenic place to sit and rest as well. It is a pleasure to see how well kept it is. Love this place!

Alison Stagg

scott barnsley

Nice view of Niagara.. Can easily see Toronto from the peak on a clear day!

Hendrik Van Harn

Unexpectedly pleasant respite in the city. Watch our for ticks.

Rachael Nalunga

It was beautiful both in the fall and early winter. The routes are very manageable and aren’t too step- though some of them are more of a challenge than others. In the winter there weren’t as many people so a lot of space to yourself. Provides a scenic view with which you can make as many memories as possible. You can bring dogs along and they seem to enjoy the walk a lot.

Theavy K

Really nice trail. Long trail, wide path with rocks as base. Little kids discovery area. You can make the hike as long it as short as you desire. Not really any trees for shades. Nice look out point. limited parking. Lots of ticks there so stay on the path and away from tall grass. Noticed about a dozen on both my dogs combined. It would be worth 5 Stars if it had more trees and NO TICKS!!!

Mark Denee

Great place for a walk on good paths. Awesome views of Niagara and beyond from the summit.

Alexander Preiss

Really nice restored area that makes for a great walk. The trails are well maintained and are clean, and include a pond, children's area, and observation point. Just make sure to keep out of the grass, as ticks are very common here.

justine busken

Beautiful place, great for pokemon go!

An awesome place to visit! Great for pictures, but it's sad to see how much damage has been done to the kids science area. Would be great to see it with a fresh coat of paint and the informational signs fixed.

Great place for a stroll or hike. Perfect for young families with strollers, wide flat trails and activity area for children to play...also a pond with a board walk. Trails also go up and over large manmade hills of dirt for a more challenging workout. At the far end of the park the trail connects with the bruce trail and can be hiked through the woods towards Brock University...something for everyone. Perfect place for some activity followed by a coffee or food from the near by fast food restaurants. Enjoy.

Rachel Fraser

A fun area to hike around. You feel as though you are miles from the city. Though parking was hard to find and everywhere we tried seemed to have tow away signs.

Great for nature walk run into to deer lol everyone who walks there is friendly lots of different level walk paths

Love this park! BUT unfortunately the people who come to this park, thinking it's an off leash dog park, make it very unwelcoming.

Beautiful walking park. Great for family walks or take the pooch for a stroll. The pond at the back is supercool for the kids, packed with golden carp, catfish, frogs and all kinds of birds.

Sandra Wiley

Amanda Mason

An amazing place to walk around, gravel pathways, lots of loops, a great pond, small pavillion area with picnic benches, and even a forested area to walk through. There is also an area that has art features that are designed for children to interact with and educate them about various things. A great repurposing of an old area. Only issue is that there are A LOT of ticks. Do not let your dogs go into the tall, grassy areas here. From a single day I found four ticks on my dog and my friend found nine on hers. Otherwise a wonderful area!!

Keith Tam

Beautiful site, and right beside the Brock campus too. Can see Toronto on a good day.

Julie Reichheld

It's a nice area to relax and go for a short walk. The only complaint is on many instances I have seen people with there dogs not on a leash despite the sign saying dogs must be on leash.

Larry Cohen

JOHN ROCHE

Well maintained trails. Quite a relaxing trail and very nice scenery. Only issue was a 30-50ft section where we caught a bit of a methane breeze, but other than right in that specific spot it was excellent. Lots of off leash dogs though, not cool when you're own dogs are on leash.

Tommy nguyen

Great place to go for a walk/run/bike ride

This park is just beside the Quarry view residence of Brock university and the highway. There is free parking available right beside the site. It's so close to the city but it feels like it's so far away at the same time. It is great in all seasons for a walk. During summers, it's a great place for biking and winter time for trekking. Kids love it! There are several educational parks for kids about weather events, solar system etc. Especially the lake area is spectacular

Karl Daigle

Great accessible trails for walks. Lots to sniff for dogs. Many path choices for either short walk or long.
