Awesome place to be with kids during summer. One should come with a change of clothe, plus towels when coming. Because the kids will definitely want to play in the water. I had fun with my kids.

A nice place to cool off in the south east part of town for the most part. Unfortunately it is also an attractive location for Canada geese who deposit landmines all over the place, specially in the early part of the season. Further into summer, it's never really an issue.

Medium-large sized park adjacent to Island Lakes Elementary School. Park Features a Splash pad with shade canopy and picnic tables. There's also Tennis and Basketball courts. The park itself has a couple open area walking trails that wind through a very small (read: tiny) marsh area and end up at one of the Island lakes man made lakes, aka retaining ponds. There is a playground at the school as well.

The concrete is so smooth and flat I wasn't worried that my one year old would trip. Area was very clean. Will be going back.

Take incredibly hot weather, three grumpy kids, two tired parents, plus one sizeable splash pad and you end up with three wet but happy tired children and two way more relaxed adults. It is like a source of sanity for grownups when it is hot and the kids are on their summer break from school.

Super fun splash pad for the kids. It was a great alternative when we decided to go to the Dakota Splash pad and found out that there was a capacity and a very long line to wait that day. A pavilion is there to give you shade while you watch your kids play and if it's busy like when we went, then you can always just lay down a towel or beach mat and sit close. Lots of space and a play area that's near as well.

A gorgeous community with wonderful people and a beautiful nature preserve. The school nearby just cleaned up all the litter and it looks amazing. If you plan on coming down, bring a garbage bag and help keep the community looking pristine!

I love the splash pad but move that elliptical, It is a hazard to small children it attracts to it. Move it over to the basketball area.

Fun splash pad, I like that it's not sprawled to far so it's easy to watch your kids. I like that it has 4 picnic tables under a roof for some shade! I also like that they have a good size parking lot and that it is very close to the water!
