Went to try disc golf here. It was great. The course is fun, and pretty challenging for a beginner. The water obstacles were nerve wracking! Would highly recommend.

I come here for the swimming pool on hot hot summer days doing laps is a relief. Plus its less busy so you have less of a chance of a foot in the face. Also the creek and walking paths are peaceful just noisy from the constant traffic along Marion and Archibald

I'm a beginner, and found the course to be enjoyable and challenging. Most of the baskets are straight ahead, but there are enough obstacles around and the creek to go over multiple times to keep you on your toes.

Great Disc Golf Course if you are looking to work on your upshots. 9 baskets with 18 tee pads. The city also replaced the ancient playground and have been adding trees. Nice improvements.

This is such a nice, peaceful park, with lots to do! There's disk golf, a public pool, and a playground. Personally, I roam around here with my doggie because he loves to go down to the creek and get dirty, as usual.

A great disc golf course/playground/pools/walking path/// near everything. Need a coffee? Cross the street. Convenience store next door. Need to let off some steam, cause you had a rough round of disc golf? Tae Kown Do a block or 2 away. Car broke down, or you don't drive? Transit will drop you off a discs throw away.

Splash pad not open, get folks its summer holidays , some of us have little tykes that can't go onto the pool. Only open Thursday to what Saturday, or Sunday. Why. We had to get everyone back into their carseats. Very unimpressed

Best disc golf course in the city! The course is short, but has starting pads for each basket which provide some variation. The park is generally well maintained and with the hills, creeks and trees packed into it's small footprint, lends to some challenging and fun play! The park also has a small skate park, outdoor wading and swimming pool (summer only), and a play structure too. I've also spotted a number of folks fishing for catfish in the Sein river!

Happyland Park or Island Park as my kids like to call it is "Awesome". You have to park on a side street to get to the park. It's away from traffic surrounded by the Seine River and a public pool. The windy road to get to the play structure makes it look like a Dora the Explorer story. The structure is newer and has a lot of different options for kids to play on. Climbing, slides, sand, swings. I just found out that a long time ago this used to be an amuzement park that even had a ferris wheel The kids loved it and always ask to go back.

Pretty basic pool, but admission for the summer is free, which is great! There is a cool park with play structure and frisbee golf course, making this a great place for kids. Nature is nearby.. we saw a deer run through the park and across all the street.

Lived here almost all my life & I am embarrassed to admit that up until very recently, I had never visited this wonderful park. 'Happyland Park' is its name, and it sure made us happy. While out for a cycle on one of our recent hot Summer days, we were in need of some shade and decided to check it out. What a delightful surprise to realize the strange looking, free-standing metal stands (seemingly randomly scattered throughout) were specifically made for Frisbee players! I had never, ever, come across a park in our city that actually caters to Frisbee players. It even has a Frisbee Course you can play (like in Golf). So the randomly scattered metal posts were not so random after all lol. Way to go City of Winnipeg Parks & Recreation, for seeing the need & accommodating those people who enjoy a round of Frisbee!! There is ALSO, a great playground for kids of all ages (even the adult kind lol), a big swimming pool (the old fashioned kind with the deep & shallow end), and the Seine Creek (River) running right through & around the park. Add in the beautiful landscape with its rolling hills and nice walkways and it just gets better & better. And AND!!....we also discovered a couple of firepits. (Not the 'ol rusted metal ones often found these days, but the big solid cement firepits that are now on our list of things to do this summer. (Hope I haven't ruined our chances because of this little review lol, but whatever ????.) It is meant to be enjoyed AND shared. What a gem in my opinion.

Went to Happyland for Doggy Days of Summer that was put on after the last day it was open for swimming. It was clean and fenced in with a secure gate. No bench seating so be sure to bring chairs/towels to sit on.

This was a fun little playground. The equipment is new, and in good condition. It is right next to the pool and the wadding pool. Great way to spend an afternoon with the kids. Only drawback is the river runs through the park. I loved it, my kids loved it. But if you have kids that don't listen well around water, or run off on occasions. This might not be the park for you.

Stopped in there with my grandaughter. Drove by there many times. Beautiful greenspace in the St. Boniface area of Winnipeg. The park has a playground, a 6 foot deep outdoor pool and disc golf. Where you aim Frisbee type discs at pole baskets from a distance. Interesting to watch them play. Would go again.

Little bowl for bike and skateboard, nice play structures... tiny bit of brush near river for supervised exploration. Lost 1 star because of high speed traffic you cross to get there and some trees for noise barrier would be nice

I tried disc golf for the first time at this park and it was enjoyable. The course seemed a little simple but still fun. The park was clean and the grass is cut. I didn't like the cut off metal posts in the ground from the old disc golf nets. If your kids are running around, they might get hurt. The "Skateboard Park" is very sad. Unfortunately, it looks like most of the trees are going to be cut down because of a beetle.

Nice park with a lot of things to do there for a park of its size: two outdoor public pools (wading & a deeper one), play ground, disc /Frisbee golf, bbq pits, and benches. Nice little creek that joins the Seine River at the park where you can fish. A couple of nice little toboggan runs in the winter.
