My girlfriend and I booked the CRO tour online. The place is really special, we were in this forest where all the animals are free to come and go (don't worry the tour is safe:) ). In the middle of the tour we arrived to a wonderful lake where we paddled with rabaska canoe, i will remember this place forever, the quiet and the beautiful nature are simply overwhelming. Also super nice to see black bears in their habitat doing breakfast, so cute! Thank you very much to our guide Noemi, she is really passionate!

Vicky, the guide, was just amazing. She explained everything in a really amusing way and she was very funny. But, to be honest, when you pay such an important amount of money in order to see the black bear, it is quite disappointing if that doesn't happen. We spent an hour in the shelter waiting in absolute silence. It was boring. I know is mother nature but...it was disappointing

For example, how to react if you come across one: give it its possible food (it eats everything but especially fruit - it loves blueberries;)), step back facing it but without looking it in the eye, do not hesitate to speak softly to calm him down! That they are not aggressive and that they should not be feared ... Etc etc. We can watch them in some sort of watchtower while they have their snack (right now leftover chocolate cakes, qd I tell you they eat everything!). In the summer they don't need it to eat it, it's less certain to see them ... They are absolutely not dependent on this snack. But in October, just before their overwintering (and not overwintering!) Each calorie is good to take when they come! We were able to admire them for a long time, the solitary males and 2 mothers with their 2 cubs (the only ones who are aggressive -dc flee if you meet cubs in the forest, the mother is necessarily in the area and will not appreciate the all your closeness to her babies). To book absolutely (there is only one slot per day - at 3 p.m. - and with only 4 places per slot). A superb experience that I highly recommend :) (Original) Pr plus d'avis, regardez trip advisor ! Sinon moi j'ai trouvé ça vraiment génial, on apprend énormément de choses sur les ours noirs. Par exemple comment réagir si on en croise un : lui donner son éventuelle nourriture (ça mange de tout mais surtout des fruits - ça raffole des bleuets ;)), reculer en lui faisant face mais sans le regarder dans les yeux, ne pas hésiter à parler doucement pr le calmer ! Qu'ils ne sont pas agressifs et qu'il ne faut dc pas les craindre... Etc etc On peut les regarder dans des espèces de miradors pendant qu'ils prennent leur collation (en ce moment des restes de gâteaux au chocolat, qd je vous dis qu'ils mangent de tout !). L'été ils n'ont pas besoin de ça pr manger dc c'est moins sûr de les voir... Ils ne sont absolument pas dépendants de cette collation. Mais en octobre, juste avant leur hivernation (et non pas hivernation !) chaque calorie est bonne à prendre dc ils viennent ! On a du coup pu les admirer longuement, les mâles solitaires et 2 mères avec leurs 2 petits (les seules qui sont agressives -dc fuir si vous rencontrez des oursons dans la forêt, la mère est forcément dans le coin et ne va pas apprécier du tout votre proximité avec ses bébés). À réserver absolument (il n'y a qu'un créneau par jour - à 15h- et avec que 4 places par créneau). Une superbe expérience que je conseille vivement :)
