We've got all the information of people who have information of the products and services of Wascana Place (Tourist Attraction) near to the territory of Regina (Canada).
Now the firm receives a rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is almost the highest, and it is based on a very large number of scores, so we may think that the valuation is quite accurate. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction belongs to the category of Park.
Nice park in the center of the city. Walking, jogging, canoeing, etc. are all activities that can be done here. I'd give it at Star rating but the water does get quite ripe on hot days.
An amazing walk with family. The weather was gorgeous and the lake was beautiful. Definitely a blessing to have within the city.
nice place for a Sunday afternoon stroll
Just a beautiful place to be with nature. Have loved this place for 26 years.
A great Park for all the family, you can walk, run, talk or whatever. It's clean and security.
A Perfect Walk'n'Roll on Mother's Day 2019
Great place for short hike , run or just hang out outside during the summer :)
One of my favorite places in the city. Such a great place to go for a walk or jog. Usually busy on weekends and after 6. My recommendation is to visit in the mornings when it's quite.
A park with something for everyone. Great walking and cycling paths.
Really nice place in the city to enjoy nature. good for walks, jogs and picnics.
A excellent place to walk, bike, and see wildlife. Wheelchair accessible as well!
Wow a beautiful view
Nice waterfront walking/biking trails
Amazing walking trail.
Good food, great view, but slow service waited 15 minutes jus for my coffee and ice tea then my food came within 5 minutes of that
Parks, playgrounds and a pool surround a walking path with a great view of the lake and government building. Play centers and the pool are dated and could stand updating but they are lots of fun and the kids enjoy them.
Terrific location for a picnic lunch The group picnic area near Wascana Centre is very well kept - clean with BBQ grills several picnic tables grassy area Lots of parking a 4 min walk away. And a Pile of Bones sculpture!!
Amazing view mesmerizing location loved it
Beautiful venue, the walking/biking path and pedestrian bridge across the Wascana lake is a great sight and makes for a pleasant stroll. There is a beautiful view of city hall's domed roof, an artificial waterfall and fountain in the middle of the lake.
There is boat rentals available at this place other than that there is a small kids park and some water fowl. There is nothing much to do here apart from whatever i have mentioned above.
Lots of space . Nice place to relax and get outside
Lovely place to visit, beautiful lake, great walking and biking paths, shady trees , lots of activity around and on the lake. Our dog really enjoyed the walk too! Lots of Canadian geese with babies which I enjoyed but with them came the goose droppings. Good parking areas, a food truck was there and accessible washrooms. All in all we throughly enjoyed the park
Very relaxing place. Awesome view!
The Wascana Centre is suh a beautiful place. The trails are beautifully kept as are the fountains, and the views of the Legislative Building are inspiring. Make sure to paddle on the lake too as it offers a different view of the landscape. The pelicans are definitely cool to watch!
Beautiful walking path with monuments to look at.
Beautiful for a walk around the lake, through the gardens, or to just sit and people watch! There are playgrounds, a pool, pick-up games and often an ice cream truck in the summer. Just beware of the geese! (They are not very friendly!!)
Like to spend time with my friends and go for walk around the lake. Beautiful park .
Nice place for wedding shoot
Great place to walk. The flower gardens in front of the Legislature building are worth viewing. The walk around the lake takes about 50 minutes. There are some interesting historical monuments that are worth exploring for.
Checked out the Arboretum Park addition to Wascana last night, great spot for a walk! These paths were laid in 2017, they are smooth and probably a couple KM of paths to walk. The diversity of trees is great, some look like they are over 50 years old, some newly planted. The arboretum park is located between the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre and the tree farm. Wheelchair accessible as well. Check it out!
My place where I can walk & meditate and forget my troubles, worries..I find calmness in my heart and recently took my dog "Kooper" here for a walk. he loved it. ❤
Well I have say that I am impressed You are able to rent canoes, life jackets!! Beautiful site when you get a minute to just hangout. Please join me for a adventure I was wondering if I could get a hold of you and maybe we can talk about becoming apart of a Paddling team. We spend two evenings with our family and friends, experience a great deal of exercise with a whole lot of laughing ????
Great paths for walking, wonderful place to go for family walk. Lots of goose poop is the downside ????
Its a lovely park with nice walking paths, and generally a clean place. Nice little lake in the city :)
Had a great boat tour with Don! He shared a ton of knowledge about the lake, the monuments, and the going ons of Regina. Was a perfect way to spend the afternoon in the sunshine!
Regina has a nice little gem with this park. Very beautiful with the lake, a couple of fountains, some islands, nice bridges, picnic areas, trails and "stalker" geese within and around it. It also has the Saskatchewan Legislative Building and gardens (unfortunately was under renovation when we were there), Royal Saskatchewan Museum and Saskatchewan Science Centre within or nearby. We especially enjoyed the affordable boat rentals (close to Willow on Wascana restaurant). There didn't seem to be a limit on where on the lake you could go with the boats. Visited May 2016
Must visit place, when you visit Regina. Beautiful landscaping, view of Saskatchewan parliament. Relax yourself . You can walk around. It will take one hour to walk. Very good information on the walk way. Lots of gheese. One ghoose island. You can do biking. Museum is close by, no fees to enter or small visit. Please donate to museum because it's free It's almost middle in the city. No one can avoid wascana . I like this place. Queen visit Saskatchewan parliament and around area five times so think about you.
Great walking path. Lots to see and beauty to behold. Park for the kids and geese for them to chase.
Such a gem. There is always lots of space to get away from people if that's what you want. Safe and well taken care of. This is one of my favorite places in Regina
Nice place for a late night stroll
Roadtrip. Good place for pleasant and easy walk around Wascana Lake, area has a lot of trees, public washrooms, paved walkways and plenty of parking spots. Fountains, Legislative Building as a background and a few small islands make this place a good spot for walking (my type of recreation) or jogging. Note: Canada Goose are mean!
I have been Driven through this Area before.. it’s a Very Beautiful Park Area, I wasn’t able to walk ????♀️????????♀️and Really enjoy ???? it ...Lovely .. Place to get away & have a picnic with Family get-away ????????❤️????
A walk around the lake is a nice, semi-scenic way to get some fresh air and exercise. You just have to watch your step since the hordes of geese leave droppings all over the sidewalk. There's a nice park with plenty to do and plenty of space for the physically inclined. This is where a lot of big outdoor events, such as Canada Day, take place. If you've had enough of being active around the lake, grab a canoe and go through it - there's a canoe/kayak rental place along the lakeside. When it's cold enough, there are opportunities to walk or skate on the frozen lake, as well. Wascana Lake is a good excuse to leave the house when it's nice outside.
Beautiful park to walk around! I also love the affordable canoeing, and other on-water options :) The pool was not open the other day, though. The website said that is was. We went to Evraz.
Really nice place to walk breath and relax .
Still a great looking place. Good for wedding pictures. Amazing flower garden !
Laterally good atmosphere and environment. Public washrooms available. Lake is awesome. Playground is good. Museum is for everyone interested in. Swimming pool available. Enough space available for walking. Jogging, running cycling. Tennis courts available for everyone interested in. Fireplace bench and enough space available for picnic and hanging out
Great path system, awesome view of the leg as well. Has lots of benches for relaxing as well as an information center. Would recommend checking this out if you are in the area. Also stop at the legislative building to check out the flowers.
One of the nicest mid city parks I've experienced. Well built and maintained. Well developed but not overly man-made feeling. A beautiful example of nature in an urban setting.
Willow Island is a great place to spend time! We especially enjoyed the boat tour around Wascana Lake.
Such great people! I came to Regina for the Nationals (canoe /kayak), ended up volunteering, and fell in love with the lake. Amazing walking paths, beautiful fountains, and So many birds! (A few to many, but amazing). If you have a few hours to spare... Take a walk around the lake. Peaceful and beautiful. Take your bikes, scooter, hover board... Doesn't matter! Well maintained and peaceful.
A wonderful green oasis in this otherwise unremarkable city. It's a reminder of the passion that we prairie folk have for making the best of the little we've got. Imagine Regina without wascana park... ????
Our cute beautiful lovely park!
I'm from Brighton Ontario. It was a beautiful sunny day . The scenery was great
It's so much fun to walk or bike or jog around cause the lake is so pretty at all times of day and is the ultimate place to go for a picnic day because there's so much you can do. You can canoe around the lake. You can walk around the entire lake and you can have a nice picnic or bbq at wascana center it's so much fun I go personally all the time. You should defiantly go for a day hope to see you there.
My favourite place. I walk the lake every day. Beautiful scenery & wildlife.
Great place with beautiful statue of Elizabeth 2
Very pretty park area. There are rentable canoes and kayaks and plenty of paths to walk or bike along. One of my favourite places I went in Regina.
Ive jogged all over the world but have to say that Wascana is one of the better trails and I do love it. A few times around the lake is both scenic and refreshing either by foot or bike. However it would be nice for them to clean the path on a daily schedule.... too much goose poop.
Lots of space, several parks. The kids love the geese and other critters. It is pet friendly and it’s usually pretty clean!
nice place to walk and spend time with the family
Absolutely love this place great for family outings. It's beautiful in the summer time lots to do ???? a must stop place if touring regina
I'm so glad they decide to put money into cleaning up the park. Its absolutely beautiful to walk around the lake now.
The only problem I see in people walking around was an centre is about the 1 % is wearing masks ..I consider it very dangerous idea
Went canoeing and had a great time! Peaceful
Best place for a walk or to enjoy the afternoon sunshine.
Amazing beautiful park. I want to come explore every day! Must see if you visit Regina
Beautiful place! Excellent to visit any time of year!
Nice photography place. Water is beautiful.
Beautiful place. Wascana center and wascana lake is having beautiful fall colors
The largest Inner City park in North America! Did you know that? Look it up... It's true! It's beautiful, clean and just a nice Escape in the middle of the city.
I really enjoyed spending time at this park. It was my first time and my sister, who lives in Regina, took us on the walk around Wascana Lake. As it was Canada Day it was pretty busy but would definitely like to go again.
A beautiful place to go for a walk. You can rent canoes and kayaks or go for a tour on a pontoon boat. There are also tours of the Legislative Building, and the Museum of Natural History is right across the lake.
Big enough to offer some fresh air from the city... As long as the lake doesn't stink
Great place for long walks, bikes and etc...lots of trees and benches for rest. Lots of Geese chilling around in the summer...(dont get them upset) excellent place. Check it out
Great place to hike awesome trails...
Always a great outing and watching the many geese and ducks owning the park.
Beautiful Park, huge new outdoor pool being built for 2023. Great walking/biking path. Lots of nature. I just wish it was still a beach like it started as.
Beautiful park. Only downside is the amount of geese, but that's not controllable. We had to stop our vehicle a few times just to let the geese cross the road ????
Beautiful place to walk around... Lovely and peaceful environment...
Nice clean park. Careful walking small dog's, I saw two wolves searching for food and try to target a lady walking her little dog. I love the ???? ducks are around.
Wonderful walk around this area!
A Jewel in the Heart of Regina always great place to gather ones thoughts
If you're looking for a nice 4.5 Km waccana lake is wonderful with beautiful spots all around the lake and magnificent art and statues
Wonderful and beautiful. Flowers were in full bloom and pretty. Recommended for seniors to get a breath of fresh air.
Beautiful park!
Beautiful park! Excellent to stroll with children and pets.
On our visit on 24 July 2021 the place was hosting an East Indian function with around 200 people. The noise created by their loud speakers could be heard for more than a mile as the speakers were installed near a water body. The obnoxious noise ruined the quite calming atmosphere we were hoping for in this otherwise beautiful landscape.
Wonderful place for a nice walk, weather permitting. Well maintained and busy.
Beautiful place to take a walk around Wascana Lake! I also thoroughly enjoyed the Royal Saskatchewan Museum here. So much history to learn about the area and all of Saskatchewan.
Best daycare around! And absolute asset to the campus community and it is run by phenomenal people!
A nice place to enjoy time out on a nice warm sunny day!
time spent very well walking along lake
A very relaxing and tranquil place to unwind, hang out with friends or just go running. In the summer the flowers are very beautiful for family or individual pictures
Love the park so much! Its our own "central park"
Beautiful spot that is hidden in plain sight. Nice, clean picnic areas. A little noisy, as it is surrounded by major intersections.
Beautiful place to visit. If you love kayaking that is the place for you. We saw many teams getting ready for games.
Excellent place for a walk. The lake need cleaning though...
Unexpectedly pleasant place to spend some quiet time with nature :)
The place is now back with bustling activities after being dormant for sometime. It is a nice place to walk or run . Also, it is a nice place to just hangout and see people gather around.
There is a good sledding hill right on the corner of broad and winnipeg st. Perfect for young kids as it is still high enough that it is fun, but not too high that they cant walk back up alone.
Nice park, have trails great place to go for a walk.
Just walked down this afternoon and I saw some guests throwing breads to feed the geese but i know it's a no, no! While there were group of teens throwing or stoning the geese. I hope the management will put a notice to educate the people and your contact numbers in case they are violating the rules and regulation of the park.
Nice enough park, sculptures and a bandstand, but the lake smells foul.
Lovely park inside the city. The lake smells like there's so much ammonia or nitrates or something idk. Just gross. Don't touch that water
Very scenic and lovely place for people who want to enjoy nature in the heart of city
Really nice sunset walk, bit of mosquito's but, people jogging walking laughing adds to this location.
One (if not only) of the best nature places to be at in Regina. Great for a long walk around the lake, ducks around and water is nice and not smelly. Friendly atmosphere and great for escaping the city life for a little bit.
Lovely path around a beautiful little lake. Lots of beautiful flowers and plenty of places to sit and relax. Path itself is paved and in good shape. Lots of geese and ducks around. A few doggy poop bag stations around the path in case u need a spare.
Pretty busy on the main loop, nice and empty otherwise. Some trail users could be more courteous of the people using the trails
The park is wonderful. Great place for relaxation and social fun. I recommend it. I would recommend though NOT top be there at dark. Especially alone!!
It's okay, the path isn't very wide and unfortunately there are no bicycle specific lanes so as a pedestrian walking a dog, you have to be vigilant. But then as a cyclist, you have to keep it slow because of the pedestrians. I wish there was a doggy fountain somewhere! I won't let my dog drink that lake water because I know what's in it.
Look at this beautiful Kwakiutl totem carved in 1971. All resplendent in new colours. And to think it lives here in Regina to brighten our lives
Wascana Park is in the heart of Regina. There are many spots for parking, and the pathways circle the lake. You'll enjoy short cuts through the park to washrooms, statues, fountains, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, Speaker's Corner, the Legislative Building. Whether its summer or winter there are many things to look for; decorated trees and wildlife like rabbits and the geese. In the summer there are concerts and other events. A wonderful place for so many reasons. Walking paths give you lots of great views for pictures, mediation or just talking as you walk, run or stroll.
Lovin' it! At the park for the Canadian National Dragon Boat and Regina Dragon Boat Festival competitions. Spending more time on the water, and so far so good.
Beautiful scenery threw out the entire park lot of space for the kids to run and play and great monuments to look at and learn about .
Wascana Centre itself is an office building accross the road from Wascana Lake. The top floor has a small art display open to the public. Summer garden with benches in the back of the building. Twice a year a guild art show displays on the first floor. Space rentals are available for whole or part of this open space. Contains a small office kitchen with a fridge.
It’s easy to take the Park for granted if you’ve lived here for a significant time. Wascana Park is definitely something I’m proud to have in our city. Grounds are well maintained, there’s always upgrades being made to facilities, and there’s so much going on all year round :)
Had a wonderful boat tour from a gentleman named Don. He was an amazing guide and it was a great experience. Would highly recommend!
Peaceful and beautiful place on clean, well groomed lawns. Love the geese, any season. The walking trails are great, though bumpy in places for wheelchairs.
#nice place to hangout #long walk #nice side seeing
Great park for a bike ride or a walk around the lake or to get away from the every day.
I enjoy going for walks through Wascana Park. It's nice to drive through as well. There's lots of places to park and just enjoy the view. It's always nice to go interact with the geese also.
Walked around the lake before sitting on the lakeside restaurant patio. Great experience.
Nice walk around the lake, very pretty legislative building.
Nice and quite place to relax
Great park, nice walking paths, fountains in the lake lots of festivals and events there as well.
Very nice views here. You're doing yourself a disservice if you skip this.
Beautiful park with relaxing path and interesting stops along the way. A must if visiting Regina!
I love this place. Though we live next door, we been inside just once. Lot of nice things to see inside.
Love walking this park, but sometimes handicap parking can be hard to find, we need a larger parking spot to fit equipment.
It's a gorgeous lake right smack dab in the middle of the Queen's City. If you want to enjoy the sun watch beautiful women jog on by, the Wascana Lake is the place to go
Whether lying on a blanket for a nap or to read a book; perhaps a walk around the lake for leisure or exercise; maybe some quiet time to sit on a bench and enjoy nature; jump into a kayak rental to explore Wascana Lake. Whatever you want to do, Wascana Centre offers it.
Beautiful park. You can walk all around the lake.Nice things too see.Nice parliament building.
You've got to come for a walk or a run, Oasis in the prairies. The flower gardens in front of the legislature are beautiful ❤️
Lovely! Fall colors just starting in the trees and flower beds still in full bloom, sublime lake and grand architecture of government house capping the scene.
One of my favourite parks in the world
What a beautiful park! Highly recommend a morning walk if visiting the area! Beware of wasps!!
=huge and beautiful park for everyone =
Nice place for family and friends ????
Great public park in Regina Free parking, in multiple different sites. Park leads into major attractions in the city such as the Legislature Building, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, and many other public accesses such as a rowing club, visitors Centre, etc. Excellent for running/walking and photo opportunities
Cleaned up fresh and green. Occasionally there is a smell but this time everything was perfect. Breathtaking views of parliament. And cute water features
The gem of Regina. Beautiful walkways; scenic views; and plenty of opportunities to make this a perfect 'staycation' spot for friends and family.
Beautiful walk around the lake. This park is amazing during summer. Must visit alone or with family.
Beautiful park with many attractions. Great place to visit
The best place in the Queen City :)
Most well kept and laid out public park anywhere for at least 600 km. Too many good events to list and architecture in landscape and buildings too good to not mention.
One of the most beautiful spots in the town:)
Peaceful, beautiful and perfect place to visit to destress and relax. Man-made lake surrounded by trees and path to walk. With some amazing shots to capture.
A great time. Lots of friendly folks out today.
Had a great time with the geese. Even got a nod from this one.
The lungs and heart of Regina, a lovely park to walk around. If you can, get on a boat and start paddling. Was here for the 2019 Canadian National Championships of Dragon Boat
Very nice place ! A must visit if you are in Regina ....
The geese might steal your kid to feed their own young; there's refuse and goose poop everywhere and the sprinklers only water the side walks, but hey it's outside, and there's water, so I love it.
Visited Wild about Wildlife, loads of animals and lots of children activities. All the non profit organizations for nature conservation did a fabulous job!
Wascana lake is a great place to spend an entire day. You can rent kayaks and canoes at the center to spend the afternoon on the water. Enjoy a delicious meal at the Willow or pick a beautiful spot along the green space for a picnic.
Beautiful place. Perfect for jogging walking and or biking.
It's one of the most interesting places to visit in Regina. You can visit the building inside in a free guided tour and they explain you very well the origins of its construction as well as the different rooms and paintings. It also has a little museum.
Stupid excessive amount of geese were a problem, but we survived. Move them.
The one direction social distancing is convenient. Always a beautiful morning view and walk.
a beautiful 5k walk around the lake. several stations to fill a water bottle and a lark for kids to play at.
Beautiful place by the lake and the legislative building. Great for family outings. Only issue was that I haven't seen any public washroom.
A very beautiful gem (in all 4 seasons) forming the large heart of Regina. Quite unique in any city and well worth a visit, especially in the summer.
Take in a free tour of the Legislative building, check out the war memorial on the West side of the building or take a walk around the 5 km trail. Lovely scenery in the summer with a huge garden of flowers and a few statues including one of Queen Elizabeth. Canada Day celebrations are held here. There are also canoe/kayak rentals and food truck.
This place is stunning beautiful views and a lovely resturant over looking the lake. Great walking and biking trails. Well worth a visit ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful park surrounding the Wascana Lake. There are observation decks at some places providing amazing views. The lake is frequented by geese, ducks, sea gulls and other birds. Excellent for occasional visits as well as for regular fitness activities.
Beautiful! The walkway goes all the way around the "lake", and there's so much to see! Geese, ducks, people. First time here, and I loved it
It was a really beautiful experience i had there..
Most residents and visitors to Regina have made their way to Wascana Park for one reason or another. As a focal point within the city, it’s popular to enjoy both the natural and historical features of the park. But few are aware of some of the park’s interesting features, facts and record-breaking accomplishments. Here are five facts you might not know about Wascana Park: It’s one of the largest parks in North America Bigger than the 405 hectare Stanley Park in Vancouver and 341 hectare Central Park in New York combined, Wascana Park is one of the largest in North America at 930 hectares, or 9.3 square kilometres. That means there is more than enough space for residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors - right in the middle of the city. Location of the longest bridge over a narrow channel of water Although unconfirmed, but popularly declared by several official sources within Regina, the Art Deco ornamented Albert Street Memorial Bridge on the edge of Wascana Lake is rumored to be the longest bridge over the shortest span of water in the world. At 256 metres long and 22 metres wide, it bridges Wascana creek. Built in 1930 and designed as a relief project during the Great Depression, it employed 700 men and was dedicated to soldiers who fought and died in World War I. Perfect to stop and smell the roses Backed by an impressive view of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building, the Queen Elizabeth II Gardens offer a colourful display of flowers to enjoy throughout the spring and summer months. Approximately 25, 000 annuals are planted in the garden with an additional 5,000 planted throughout the Legislature grounds. The entire Wascana Centre Authority (including the University of Regina and Research Park) is home to 50,000 plants. Definitely worth stopping to smell the roses. The park provides free grain to feed the birds The Waterfowl Display Ponds are a series of three ponds located across from the Conexus Arts Centre. It’s a lesser known area within the natural landscape of Wascana Park and visitors are welcome to feed Stella the swan as well as the resident geese and ducks. The Wascana Centre provides free grain for the birds but also encourages locals to bring leafy greens as bread isn’t healthy for the birds.
This is one of the best things that there is in Regina. It is a huge park with trees, grass, a lake, walking and bicycling trails. The highlight is the Legislative Building and grounds right in the park. This is a must see if you are in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Well maintained. Clean as you can expect with wild animals all over.
We had a nice drive through the park and went to the willow restaurant a nice afternoon
A great place to take the family. Be sure to take the pathway all the way around the lake (approx 4km) to get a good overview of it's amenities. Explore & experience both sides of the lake as well as the off shoot of the park to the east of Broad street. Check out their website online to find out all it has to offer.
The boat tour was really refreshing. The captain and tour guide were friendly and knowledgeable young ladies. I regret not asking their names. The experience exceeded my expectations and I recommend it to everyone. Our group consisted of 4 generations. Young and old.
Beautiful, picturesque place. One can enjoy a peaceful walk. Get awesome pictures.
It's so beautiful, it's somewhere that I love going just to get out of the "city feel" it doesn't really feel as much as a city to me.
We have an incredibly beautiful, well-maintained, park in the middle of our city. This is something of which we can all be thankful, and proud!
Beautiful gardens, lovely walk around the lake. Only downside is the goose feces!
The best place to chill at Regina is Wascana park, the place is huge and has a very scenic view with great bike lanes and walking paths. Spring and summer is the best time to visit.
great trail. love it.
One of the best parks in N. America, but watch out for rude speeding cyclists and skateboarders. Need more police presence there!
Beautiful view and nice for a walk.
Beautiful green space right in the heart of Regina. Great path system for running, walking, biking, rollerskating - part of the Devonian pathway system. Nice to have that much green space!
Beautiful place with lots of biking trails!
Such a beautiful park. Each season brings a different look and feel to the area. I love the great views as you walk around the lake. Every time I go to the park I notice something new or different.
Beautiful park next to a small lake. The park was in good shape with a few flowers
Something needs to be done about the number of geese; there are way too many in the park, they wreck the grass & can be aggressive. The park used to be much nicer. For a park that is supposed to be the jewel of Regina, some of the roads are a wreck.
Nice place and has long walkway. Favourite for cyclists, joggers, and for those who wants spend some relaxing time after tiring day. Serene and refreshing place.
Very well maintained and beautiful place in summer time.Best place to visit in Regina
The walk around the lake is very nice
Had a little picnic down by the boathouse. Beautiful spot.
A beautiful park that encompasses the majesty of the Legislature, the caring of the bird sanctuary, the seemingly hidden gems of sculpture, family picnic and play areas, lovers nooks and lookouts, walks and strolls ...something for everyone, laid out in the nurturing beauty and healing elegance of Nature...all under our amazing Prairie sky!
Had an enjoyable time kayaking.
Great place to go for a walk to clear your mind. Always lots to stop an enjoy ☺️
Great to take the bike paths around the lake, walk the lake, and enjoy the legislative grass area for playing frisbee and football! The flower garden in front the the legislative building is beautiful in the summer. Tons of food trucks come and go through the summer, canoe and kayak rentals, along with some great family events! Beautiful scenery. A must stop in Regina ????
Wascana Park is a beautiful place to walk the geese and ducks and sea gulls make the park interesting also lots of history Visitors to the Park will also enjoy it
Great park for walking, cycling, running, with play structures for kids, BBQ grills, outdoor swimming pool, calm lake for kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding. There's a natural history museum and a 1st class art gallery. Lots of grass, greenery, flower beds and trees. Good place to go in all four seasons.
Beautiful park, very well planned and landscaped. Its a wonderful place to go for a walk, or canoe on the lake, or spend the day with the family.
We didn't make it around the entire park. We plan to return one day to do so. Park is clean and well maintained. Beautiful lake
Its a great place to explore the nature and to take ur take for a walk
Best spot in town! Ride bikes, walk, jog or just spend some quality time with family or friends!
Beautiful setting, amazing food and wonderful staff! Absolutely loved it ❤ ???? ????
A really nice walk that I have done many times. Paved all the way so it's still great if you have mobility issues. I don't but see lots out there enjoying the weather and the views.
This beautiful lake and park is a beautiful place to enjoy a kayak, canoe or paddle board. Don’t have one? There’s a marina with rentals. If kayaking is t your thing, you’ll love the extensive pathway which includes trees, legislative buildings, and playgrounds! You’ll be sure to enjoy! Such a great location for impromptu recreation, or formal events. Sure, there's no mountains, but the scenery is as good as it gets on the prairies, and the accessibility, cleanliness, and amenities make up for all that and more.
Just a great place to visit any time!
I love this park! Great to walk around and let the kids play or kick a ball.
Beautiful lake, visited bar willow there. Had couple of beers and chips awesome experience service was good
Loop trail! Takes about 45-60 minutes!
A beautiful riverside walk. There are tons of minnows in the lake. My kids spent hours catching & releasing them. They must have caught close to a hundred. There's a quaint little ice cream truck parked there too. Perfect for a hot day treat.
Winter or summer tome I really appreciate this park. Clean and full of beautiful sights. Whether you feel like an organized tour at the legislative building or just a stroll at the park, you’re guaranteed to enjoy yourself!
A paradise few outside of the province have ever heard of.
Nice place to relax and watch the geese
We had a great time!
A nice city park that is very big. We are lucky to have it
Nice to walk around and go to museum and just enjoy the day. Picnic or take kids to pool
Beautiful day in the park. Had lunch by the Marina. Plenty of wildlife a kicking (squirrels, ducks, etc). People everywhere, school bus shows up lots of children getting off the bus. A pleasant experience.
Great place to hangout with friends families and colleagues.....Really a fresh air to breath
It's very peaceful!
Beautiful walk around the lake
Always a beautiful place to visit. Well maintained.
A perfect place to spend time wether walking, biking, roller blading or driving. The park is beautiful.
Wascana Centre is a beautiful place to go to just sit back and relax. My husband takes our dog for a walk while I sit in the vehicle. It is great for just reading, a nice place to watch the geese and ducks. It is so beautiful in the summer with the flowers. Such an asset to the City of Regina!
The biggest park in the city. There are lots of walking trails, play structures for the kids and open areas to play, have a picnic or just relax. Located in the south end of the city nestled between Albert Street and Broad Street includes a large lake with a historic past. The Legislative grounds are only a stone's throw away as well which is open for tours in the summer months. It is also the place the city fireworks are shot off for Canada Day.
We took the roughly 30 minute boat ride around Wascana Lake today. I have been on the water for dragon boat races but this was something different. A slow leisurely pace. Some great information from our guides. They were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. I have lived in Regina for over 30 years and this was the first time out. Try it. You will be pleasantly surprised.
I walk around the lake 2 times lots of people with dogs. Lots of family outings very peaceful walk I like to listen to the nature. The walking area is always kept clean
Beautiful views. Pet friendly. Only thing the pathways are just one way because of COVID.
Enjoy walking around the lake, the resurfaced pathway is awesome. Best intercity park in Canada! There are a lot of events held in the park, great times.
Wonderful place to spend outdoors!
Love Wascana Centre! A gem in our city and a nice getaway after work or anytime for a relaxing walk. Perfect for a family to take the kids and have a ziplock bag filled with birdseed for the ducks and geese. Exploring the park, you'll find all kinds of tracks in the snow, especially the silly rabbits!
