We've got the opinions of people who are using the products and services of RCMP Heritage Centre (Tourist Attraction) in the area close to Regina (Canada).
At present the firm gets a score of 4.7 out of 5 and the rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is nearly the top, and it is based on a high number of scores, so we may conclude that the rating is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction belongs to the category of Museum.
Wonderful facility, interesting and interactive museum display. Great for events
This is the most beautiful and unique experience of our past and present. Really appreciate it and I am going to try to make some time before Christmas to go and take the tour.
Good place for to know about of Canada history, its people, customers and police evolution. Nice place.
Very informative and interesting
Jingle bell clippity clop horses at Jingle Bell day.
Ana amazing experience. Great exhibits for kiss and adults.
Catch the Sergeant Major's Parade Tuesday to Friday at 12:45 pm at RCMP Academy, 'Depot' Division. Guests MUST register at the RCMP Heritage Centre by 12:00 p.m
Had a nice tour at the RCMP, very nice and cool place to learn about the Canadian police forces. Going around you can find memorial cathedral, church and cool gift shop as well. Over all great experience!
Great experiences and history lessons to be found. Enjoyed myself thoroughly.
Had a good time today. Was our first time there. Had our 2 kids with us aged 4 and 1. Our 4 year old had a good time. Asking lots of questions about all the artifacts. He loved driving the police car. Me personally, I thought there would of been a little more. Looks bigger from the outside. There was a theatre in there as well, could not enjoy it as the kids attention spans would not of handled it lol. Maybe next time ????
(Translated) Interesting and very educational for both official languages (Original) Intéressant et très éducatifs pour les deux langues officielles
Learn something different really good place
It's a pretty small museum but there's a lot to see and read, we spent around 2 hours inside and left a lot of reading undone. Highly recommended.
Good service and experience, worth to visit
This place is great to catch up on some history.
Exhibits are well done and interesting. Though some videos in the heritage center are out of date and could use updating. But the history displayed generates a tremendous sense of Canadian pride. I am deeply proud of my country and feel like such a patriot when visiting and reading about the RCMP's history. If you're in Regina, it's worth investigating.
Interesting exhibit pieces. Worth checking out.
This museum showcases various artifacts and exhibits relating to the history of the RCMP and its predecessor org the RNWMP. The museum also includes a virtual horse riding and patrol car driving experience. Visitors can also join a tour to the nearby depot where cadets are training to become RCMP officers. Witness the Anglican chapel, the first building in Regina, as well as a daily parade of cadets and scenario training.
Great museum. We spent an hour here and could have easily used another hour.
A must visit place in Regina
Fun museum full of information and some interactive exhibits.
Really cool museum if you're curious about the history of the RCMP
Not the most entertaining place.
Interesting history and displays. There is a lot of information presented and you could easily spend a couple of hours looking at all of the displays. Its not interactive at this time due to covid, one area was closed completely, which really makes this dull for kids unless they are into reading and history.
If your interested in the rcmp this is the place to go. Great!!
Very interesting!
Great exibits , good tour. Saw the parade mid day, definitely worth a visit
Great tour, makes me proud of our police force.
Love it!
Everyone should see this place to see and understand the history of the RCMP
Prairie history and in all its splender.
Great place to see and do with lots of history and displays.
This was a treat. I remember seeing the Musical Ride as a child and thinking that’s what I want to do when I grow up!
Very cool museum with interactive exhibits. Go early and watch the Sargent Major's parade of the Cadets.
(Translated) It was very interesting, very family friendly. (Original) C'était super intéressant , très familial.
Amazing everyone of the RCMP start here! Never knew.
This is a shop full of fun items related to RCMP, Saskatchewan and Canada.
A must place to visit in Regina. The RCMP HC museum is very interesting.
Wonderful history of the RCMP and its predecessors.
Great sense history.
Good place to learn about the rcmp
Very interesting place
Pricey for a minimal amount of content, but the content was Great!
Very cool, mad trappers stuff was worth seeing.
It is free and very good place
Friendly staff!
Definitely like to see, if you get a chance stop by
Always fun with the kids. Play the driving simulator and try to not hit the cones. Interactive displays with lots of history to learn. Perspective from many sides on events involving NWMP and RCMP. There is a discoloured horse ta boot.
It provides an amazing look into the history of the most recognizable Canadian icon. It's very informative and loaded with great visuals and artifacts of every size - from original RCMP vehicles to regional duty badges. I found it interesting as someone with a investment in law enforcement.
Very interesting, friendly staff and a nice gift shop with good prices!
(Translated) Very interesting. (Original) Très intéressant.
Great place to bring family to see historic displays. During the summer take the trolley tour.
Historically Excellent
Such an incredible and informative experience. When I first came to Canada I knew nothing about the origins of the RCMP and what they do now, but I left awestruck by the feats they accomplished across the NW territories and about their history. This is an experience that is worthwhile for anybody young and old!
Excellent! Great view of history.
Amazing place exhibits contain so much information. The one that requires you to solve the crime was extremely interesting. It so helps you to understand the history of the R.C.M.P. and what they have done for Canada in peace and war time. They are the greatest police force in North America.
Rich history of RCMP, recommend visiting it
Great place to visit. Very informative, and fun.
Enjoyed the tram tour of Depot Division training headquarters and were fortunate that our timing coincided with the 12:45 daily parade which included a marching band of recruits. The interactive and other displays were informational and nicely organized. Glad that we watched Courage in Red beforehand as it reminded me of the great legacy of the RCMP, something currently challenged as the organization works towards improving and changing itself as it has had to do so many times before. The street named after officers was poignant and meaningful. Surprised to find a gorgeous lily garden close to the Heritage Centre and loved the interactive musical ride.
You will learn everything you wanted to know about the RCMP but were afraid to ask. Plan on 3 hours if you intend to do the parade and visit the depot. Very good gift shop.
An interesting museum that is both informative and fun! They have interactive exhibits (not currently available due to covid-19) and engaging collections, that should prove to be amusing for all ages. They made sure the strictest protocols were followed due to covid-19, so rest assured I felt safe during my visit. The gift shop also has many nice and beautiful RCMP items, makes for a handy place to buy unique holiday gifts.
We enjoyed our visit at the RCMP Heritage Center. The weather was good enough that they were doing trolley tours around Depot, the name of the campus for RCMP training. The only other building that we went in was the chapel which for my tastes was less interesting. I would have liked to see the gun range and the driving course but obviously for safety reasons those were off limits. We did not see any mock arrests being made which would have been more exciting to but you can't anticipate when that might happen. It was very interesting to see the makeshift City where there are houses and boats in a strip mall to practice policing situations. The Heritage Center was more of a museum with old uniforms and tools for policing. There were lots of historical lessons above the Northwest Mounted Police that predated the RCMP. The driving simulator that was there I must say was almost undriveable but I'm sure it's not the one they use in actual training. Worth the price of admission for sure.
We had a great time, very interesting to see how the RCMP evolved and contributed to the history of Canada.
Great facility, we enjoyed watching Aladdin and found some gift shop items on sale. Highly recommended! Friendly staff.
Exhibit gives a good glimpse into RCMP from beginning until now. The uniform display is interesting. There are also uniforms available to take your own pictures. Some games for kids as well.
Just a beautiful historical place to see
Extremely excited place. Parade of cadets is awesome. Everyone have to visit.
We went for the Canada Day celebration Family Mountie training. It was a lot of fun: obstacle course, remote car racing, dress up, family mug shots etc. My only complaint was that it starts so late in the morning that we had leave after 45 minutes to get our kids down for naps.
Very informative and family friendly
Great learning experience
An amazing part of the Canadian identity presented in a way that everyone should experience.
Very nicely displayed and interactive lots to see and do.
Nice informative museum. Indie the police dog is there and she is very well trained and fun to play with. The gift shop has lots of gifts that are great!
The tour of depot and the video about depot was the best part.
Historic. Well laid out. Interactive. Fun for kids.
Great info and history
(Translated) Before I visited, I thought it was just an ordinary museum. After the visit, I found that the photos I took were not enough. Indeed, its volume can not be compared with the Tianzhan Pavilion, but the layout is exquisite, the movement is clear, and the rich exhibits and interactive experience are everywhere. awesome!
This is a great museum for history nerds. There's lots of artifacts, very neatly arranged and clearly labelled, highlighting some of the more fascinating episodes in RCMP history like the Great March West, and the Mad Trapper of Rat River. Though some parts are closed due to covid, that makes the museum quite empty and gives you time to linger around your favorite parts
Great exhibits, awesome play!
Informative and kid-friendly. We are living in an age when people are demanding to “defund the police.” Regardless of our political stance, it is important to understand and teach our children the history of policing as well as the role it plays in our society.
Ok
A must see when visiting Regina.
Must see
Sunset Ceremonies are impressive.
Great museum celebrating RCMP service to the nation. Good place to take your guests for a visual treat and for visiting the Academy. Perhaps you can be on time to watch the parade in the morning.
On our way Calgary AB - London ON, my family planned a visit to this museum. My child used to dream to become RCMP member so it was lovely opportunity. All of my family really enjoyed the time spent in the museum: exhibition itself with simulators, RCMP movie, tour in a wagon through the training center with knowledgeable guides (it was a young guy with as young lady), my husband really liked visiting church during this tour - you could feel a spirit of the time and history of Canadian generations in RCMP live. Thank you RCMP for educating people about who you are and for all your work you do for people.
Museum of RCMP. New, large facility. Good-- if you are interested in this topic. A bit pricey.
Excellently displayed and preserved exhibits, with a walk through of the storied history of the Mounties. Some interactive displays and a "crime scene" for young and old alike. Friendly bilingual staff, and a quiet park for after. Stellar experience.
Excellent history of RCMP and Canada
Amazing for kids and adults. Free parking spots as well.
We enjoyed it
This place was good fun! Even enjoyed playing tug of war with the doggie behind the counter! Sadly I never won..... I guess I have to go back and try again
Pretty good museum.
What an excellent exhibit of RCMP heritage. Well worth the stop. Check each audio station for interesting stories. You can get cute uniforms for the kids at the gift shop. We went a couple of times during a recent stay in Regina.
Good place,worth to visit.
Went here for a school trip. The focus on how great the RCMP is, yet, they seem to block out some facts about First Nations and Canada. You need to be cautious of what your learning here because they are wanting you to think about how positive the RCMP are. Also if you look outside there is a medicine wheel made out of rocks. There isn't any sign or indication of it which is quite weird.
Very informative and interactive. I would definitely visit again.
This is an absolute must for anyone visiting the city of Regina. Here you will see a detailed history of the RCMP, putting the service into perspective. There are a variety of exhibits from items behind glass to large life-like items and vehicles in the open. There is also a theater where you can see a short documentary. There is plenty to see so plan at least an hour. Lots of parking and a gift shop on site.
I learnt a lot about the history of RCMP. I would love to own some of the displays. A must see when in Regina.
Well done history museum.
(Translated) It's good! And there are little memories (Original) Es bueno! Y hay recuerditos
I wanna become a police officer
This place is so much fun with a little guy or gal. The stuffed animals and all you can learn is great.
(Translated) Here is the Canada Mounted Guards School and also a museum dedicated part. You can enjoy one of the military stops they make if you match 'schedule. Curious to see instructions given in English, but also in French. In the museum you can see different objects of this peculiar police and also to know its long history by all the territory of Canada.
Car simulator is buggy and bad but the forensics exhibit was cool!
I visited the RCMP Heritage Centre by 11:30 a.m., and I was able to watch an introductory video called "Courage in Red." Then, I was offered to watch Sergeant Major's Parade at 12:45 p.m. I had to give them my ID and check my bag prior to watching the parade, so arrive early to have plenty of time. At 12:20 p.m. or so, the group was escorted to the parade grounds. The guides gave us a bit of history and life in the Depot. The parade was excellent. Then, we went to the chapel, being the second oldest building in the province. Finally, we were escorted back to the RCMP Heritage Centre. At the centre, I walked around the museum at my own pace. The displays provided a history of the RCMP, and then offered an interactive component. I spent almost half a day there. This is an excellent attraction for the entire family. Be sure to arrive early to catch any parades and tours that they may have in the secured areas.

Took the family here. Piles of interesting history. Definitely geared for school age and older. Could have easily spent more time. Would like to see the horses next time and hopefully the video patrol cars are maybe working.
Tour was informative. Staff Sergeant Parade was great. Chapel was historic.
Every one it's really good

Great presentation
Why not
Great place to visit if you're a visitor in Canada. It was great to learn about the RCMP and the rich history of the organization too!
Very informative displays and hands on driving experience. Definitely recommend the RCMP Heritage Centre.
This place needs our care. They survive on visits and gift shop purchases. Great place for families.
Would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to know more about the RCMP! Loved seeing my great uncle's name on the pillars outside
Fun informative
Museum was nice... parade was fun.
Was an awesome place to check out. It had a lot of old stuff like guns, vehicals, canons, uniform, clothes etc. Overall this makes it an awesome place to check out.
Wonderful museum. Informative displays. Great staff. Adults and kids really enjoyed it.
Very cool! If you have any interest in law enforcement or it's history in Canada this place will wow you. Good quality museum style exhibits.
Visiting the prairies and want to learn more about our national policing then the RCMP Depot is a must. Wonderful gift shop, lots of neat things.
Excellent
Not only showcases the history, but also has many interactive activites for the more hands - on experiences. This includes a VR station, a driver simulation test and several interactive displays concerning actual policing.
Kid friendly, very informative and interesting
Awesome place to see.
Awesome place to visit.
Great interactive exhibits. I really enjoyed solving the murder mystery and driving the police cruiser. The RCMP Heritage Centre definitely exceeded my expectations.
What a fantastic way to spend a couple of hours, this was a spur-of-the-moment visit that I will cherish for a long time.. there's brilliant displays on the history of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that will take you through its Inception and into the present... I can assure you that you won't be disappointed with a visit to the RCMP Heritage Center.
Spent two hours here, but it didn't feel like it
Beautiful, educational and well staffed. Great hands on activities for kids. Beautiful gift shop and love the theatre
Halloween party was great the kids had a wonderful time
Very enjoyable guided tour- informative and educational. Watched the noon parade and learned the hierarchy of cadets through full-fledged RCMP. Lots of history here- something Canadians should appreciate.
Cool Place lots of Static Displays to walk Through and see, Maybe time for a little update.
Nice facility - they do space rentals as well for events. You can fit a ton of people in the largest event room.
It was a great experience. Lot of displays and VR experiences. The investigation was a great experience too. The only issue was that the movie was too much to swallow. Overall great! Worth the visit.
Amazing!
Great experience! Full if history
Website said center was open and sergeant major parade on beginning of Jan but found out it’s closed until the 15th.
Tells the history of NWMP and RCMP. Pricey for a museum.
It is very informative for people curious about RCMP heritage, and provides fun facts throughout the museum. Here you can learn a lot about indigenous people working together and becoming RCMP members.
Interesting. Enjoyed the visit and the tour. I’d recommend this.
One of the best Canadian museum I have ever seen. Worth every penny spent on donation. Thanks to stuff to keep it tidy and nice!
I enjoyed how interesting this museum is and how well put together it is and how they take you on tours of the barracks and how you get a chance to see the chapel and a few very cool things! I also enjoy how they have a section for you to try on outfits, as my uncle is an RCMP so that's another reason I love going.
Great for private functions!
A must to see in Regina. Good explanation why how the force formed. Child friendly
Very cool little museum. Nice gift shop. Very child friendly. Can easily go through in 30 min if you wanted or 2 hrs if you really looked at every exhibit
Historical RCMP museum
Good venue for all ages and includes artifacts
Great place to learn about Royal Canadian Mounted Police heritage.
Wonderful experience for my family. The man at the gift shop was very friendly and full of knowledge. Really enjoyed the visit!
Awesome experience! I found out I wouldn't be a very good driver in a car chase! I loved being in the VR Musical Ride! The history is awe inspiring! Don't forget to stop in the gift shop for a hoody, a pair of mitts, or a Christmas ornament! The tour was part of an incredible weekend attending my nephew's RCMP graduation. It was the chance of a lifetime!!!
Our group really had fun and learned how much work goes into becoming a ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE
Proud to be Canadian
Learning the history of the RCMP was amazing and lots I never knew about them. Amazing stories, a must see and learning experience.
Great place to visit. Tours/museum /gift store was fantastic spent 3 hours here.
It was great!!
Nice
Beautiful facility for wedding pictures
Well done and very educational, great for the whole family.
Very informative
Great history of the RCMP. Well worth a visit. Cdn military, active and retired are free to enter.
Majority of history and reading material in this museum is available already on wikipedia, but this place has a lot of good display of historical items. A easy museum to walk around, can be in and out within two hours.
(Translated) Very well informed (Original) Très bien informé
Enjoyed a fantastic day here. So much to see and do. Very informative and interesting. Lots of hands on, interactive displays. Great way to spend 3 or 4 hours.
A true national treasure with world class displays. They tour the Depot providing information in both official languages. As someone invested in TRC it was difficult to see the Indigenous items in police hands. However, RCMP-GRC is an important part of Canada's past, present and future.
Wonderful look at the history
Great private function! Amazing food and excellent service!! I highly recommend.
Loved it here!
Very interesting
Everything
Wonderful museum about the history of the RCMP. Easy to navigate with concise information and historical artifacts. Interesting to learn that history of western provinces and territories are so closely related to the history of the RCMP. A must for anybody interested in law enforcement and/or Western Canadian history.
Found it underwhelming. Order of exhibit was not the most straight forward and the Black Museum was a disappointment.
A look into the history of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They also have a cadet parade around 12:45pm
(Translated) Super interesting. Small tour in the mini train. (Original) Super intéressant. Petit tour en mini train.

Very nice building on the outside and in. The kids enjoyed checking it out. Staff was very friendly as well.
The Hololens exhibit was really cool.
Staff are incredible, knowledgable, and friendly
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were able to be there for the trooping of the post I recommend making it if you can it is at noon. The museum is very interesting and will take a couple hours if you want to take time to enjoy. The chapel is beautiful and makes you feel that Western plains feel. The bathrooms are clean and the gift shop has a good selection. It is very kid friendly with items for each age group. The museum is also accessable for elderly and physically challenged. The people that work here are kind and professional. Should meet a RCMP officer they are also very professional.
Awesome experience... great place to visit for the entire family.
Real quality exhibits in a quality building. A must see in Regina.
Good place to go to for weddings, any museum has interesting displays. Some of the displays are in need of repair. It’s only two of the interactive ones.
Excellent self guided tour, historical info. Awesome virtual reality mounted ride. Fun area for children, great gift shop.
Didn't get to enjoy the museum. but what a beautiful place to have a wedding.
Excellent museum for the evolution of the Canadian police force. Truly Canadian. Salute to all the heroes who sacrificed their everything for keeping their communities safe

(Translated) Super onteressant wt well appointed (Original) Super onteressant wt bien aménagé
So much history
We'll layed out, informative and interesting
Very interactive and fun!
Interesting museum, lots of history here. However, the first thing I noticed when I came through the doors was an "Every child matters" wall, that says "Our thoughts are with Cowessness First nation and Indigenous communities across Canada. Umm...there was nothing in the museum that mentioned the RCMP or their role in residential schools. I'm sorry, but the RCMP played an instrumental part in what happened, and history has established that you don't get to use the excuse "I was just following orders". I'm not the one to say what should be said (my ancestors were on the wrong side of history too) but this was in very poor taste.
Good point to see
Learned so much ,loved it all !!
Great experience
Fantastic experience! We throughly enjoyed the museum!
Awesome!
Overpriced for a 4 room museum. Nice atmosphere, good to see our tax dollars at work.
Excellent venue for RCMP history. Great guides.
Really interesting to learn more about the history of our country!
Try to go around noon, during the graduation ceremony. Fascinating!
I actually only went to the museum to be able to go inti the depot area and watch a noon parade. The museum was a pleasant and unexpected delight. The venue is well organized with some great displays and tons of history about our nations police force. Definitely worth the low admission and something every Canadian should experience. I especially enjoyed the interactive counterfeit money display.
Must see in Regina. A piece of history that every Canadian should know about. Entrance comes with a tour of the grounds. Highlight of visit is the parade and inspection.
Beautiful and informative museum.

We were hosted here for a dinner but had an opportunity to visit the museum and learn so much about the rich history of our country and the role the RCMP has played for so many years. Amazing period photos and artifacts that really tell a vivid story.
Enjoyed learning about the history of the organization while supporting present cadets.
a great place. the museum was very good and I really loved it. there where so many activities to do. It is a grest place to take your familly and have fun. I think if you are visiting Regina You should visit this wonderful Museum. I got so many information about the RCMP. it was so fun.????????????
The RCMP is tied to Saskatchewan. In many ways it represents the province's past and its virtues. Notwithstanding current administrative issues and shortcomings the province overcomes its issues as hopefully the RCMP will. Go see the Heritage Centre.
This is a perfect place to have our Christmas Party. The venue is awesome!
Learned some interesting history.

Interesting history of the RCM
Great place to visit.
Very nice place that gives you a lot to learn
very detailed and explicit
It was a truly amazing exhibit and museum. It really opened me up to RCMP history as well as how tough these men and women are. They have fun interactive exhibits for all sorts of people, and their events vary day by day. There are also many photo opportunities. Furthermore, they have fascinating films and the gift shop isn't bad either. There are also parades that they put on occasionally.
Very informative, well laid out, easy to understand, knowledgeable staff, fair entry fee
Such a great place for tourists and locals alike.
We enjoyed the visit. It was a lots of info how the RCMP started. We met a dog in training and the souvenir shop has a good stuff.
Very nice educational place to see the hard work the disciplined forces go through to qualify.Makes me hold them in high regard .Very motivational for children to see
Very boring found it to be a waste of time
Great family stop. Kids loved the simulators. History was interesting
Interesting look at a Canadian institution. Enjoyed the tour, movie and displays. Kids liked the interactive elements (horse riding, driving a car) and the activity sheets.
Well worth a trip to Regina.
Very interesting
