A nice little park in downtown Red deer.

My Day Off

Very beautiful tribute, this is the first time I really stopped and had a look while walking through downtown. Read the stories, take some family pictures and show love to our veterans! There are alot of benches, some in the shade or choose a bench in the sun. Sit and have a visit and coffee with a friend. There are alot of places to eat in the area too. Good job Red Deer!!

Thej's Life

Veterans' Park is a beautiful spot in the heart of downtown Red Deer on Ross Street. There are lots of trees, flowers and benches. Such a nice place to sit and reflect. Around the monument there were tons of little rocks with poppies painted on them. A great gesture of remembrance.

A monument dedicated to our fallen heroes in a small strip of an area stretching a block long situated in the middle downtown Red deer. It also has changed a lot dramatically.
