The park is very well maintained. When I was there it was full of staff planting flowers and a variety of homeless people sleeping on the lawn or moving to different sleeping locations on the lawn to get away from events and staff. Littering and day time drinking by the homeless is always a people watching delight. More money in flowers then for funds to help the homeless I bet. Good Job Red Deer! Ignorance is bliss.

It's not bad the flowers smell terrific but if you are allergic to it it's a death trap there is a lot of different flowers there that you want to get familiar with because another lifetime of them are actually wanting to know if flour you're never actually going to take time to look at it and smell it just like part of life. To remind yourself of what you need to look at before you want to look at it just saying that's my own opinion of this city hall Park because they had a shet shiter appointment there or I mean our old house

City hall park is ok for visiting if you are not planning a day with friends. There is a policy for loitering. This applies to mostly tjose that ate of young adult and as well part of the homeless community. If you do mot fall into those catagories you are very welcome to go to the park and stay for as long as you will like.

Christmas lights in whinter and flowers in summer time. It's beautiful but we don't go there a lot. I have two little kids abd I'm scared of what they can find on a ground or in fall leafs. Downtown is not for kids any more unfortunately.

Nice park with benches and lots of flowers in the summer, in the winter the lights are beautiful. Shares a lot with the library which is great for kids, my daughter likes to pick out a book and then go out and sit in the park and read it. Great place for pictures at Christmas time.

City Hall park is a very beautiful place all seasons. Beautifully covered in great smelling flowers in the spring and summer, in the fall you get to see them leaves fall in preparation for winter. Then in the winter the park is beautiful/made up and filled with gorgeous Christmas lights. I love how every single tree in the park has lights all over them. Perfect for photos. Just moved to Alberta from New Brunswick a few months ago and it's very pleasant to have found out that I'm in a new city that cares about the Hollidays just as much as back home. There is one Giant Tree in the park that was spectacular. Such a nice place to be for Christmas.
