REVIEWS OF Wine Glass Falls IN Quesnel

It's ok for a 1 time thing. It's not marked so if you don't know how to get there with out directions from someone who has been there you may not find it. Google maps took us to the wrong spot and trail and ended up way off where we were supposed to be. The falls it self was "cute" but really nothing spectacular.

It's nice and serene. It has a fire pit. Pack a lunch and ask her to marry you. Had a shower in the falls. Was pretty darn cold. lol

This place is pretty and is fairly easy to get to. There is a short walk into the falls if you can 4x4 into the main trail area, otherwise it's and extra 5 minute walk. These falls are small but beautiful because of how it streams down, hence the name wineglass falls. Other than the cave that allows you to walk around the backside ,there is not much to look at and it is more about the scenery on the drive in. It can get steep to get in and out but there is a rope that will help you get down

There are no decent instructions on how to get there so here ya go: Google Maps is correct up until a certain point. It doesn't direct you through private property anymore. Or at least, we found no signs for it. At the red dot on the map there is a fork in the road. Take the right. The road signed "Branch 16" is the wrong way. At the yellow dot on the map is a large pullout and a fork. On the right is a trailhead with pink flagging tape. This is the start of the 4x4 section (or walking if you don't have it). It's a very easy trail down. Beautiful falls, a little fire pit. If you have the Gaia GPS app, I've well marked the trail on there. Just don't follow the whole trail as we bushwacked and got lost.

Very cool! We didnt even know the waterfall was there until we were literally right on top of it! You can drive all the way in, make sure you have high ground clearance. The falls are very neat you can walk underneath and see the sealed tunnel for where a mine used to be.

A 40 minute drive from Quesnel you will find a small waterfall and unique erosion the falls have created over the thousands of years. You can almost drive right to the small water fall, the last 500 or so meters the road gets fairly rough and is better to park along side of the road and walk the remaining few minutes it takes to get to the falls. Part of the trail runs along a cliff that drops down to the creek below. I added a picture of a map leading to the falls, Google maps directs part of the trip through private property, I added a screenshot that bypasses the private property and only adds a few minutes to the trip.

when I got to ten km away from the falls following the directions from Google I reached a fork in the road. On the right was a farm and to the left was the road to wine glass falls. unfortunately, there was a blade from dozer left across the road, so clearly I could not drive any further. I started walking up the road after ten minutes a truck drove up all crazy i moved out of the way and he turned and drove towards me again. Just a little scary a old man got out of the truck and said I was trespassing on his property. I said I would leave not looking for any problems.
