One of the better parks in Quensel, also has a great hill for sledding during winter. Lots of community events go on here pretty regularly such as Billy Barker Days Festival in July.

Billy Barker Days is always a good time. Lots of rides for the kids at the festival grounds. Bring your lawn chairs for the live music and come early for a good spot. Lots of food trucks and the minidonuts are home grown!!!

With a great big field you can always find some space to yourself while in public. It's got a great big stage that we like to put to use for outdoor concerts. Don't forget the water park which makes for a great time for the whole family.

It's a waterpark..what more do I need to say! It is an excellent place for every family member and friend to cop-a-squwat whether it be a picnic or a family time out or a one -on one..It is my place to cool and take in the manicured yard. I enjoy the green space and fresh air.

The new updated playground is excellent and a lot of fun for children of all ages. When events are hosted in the park there is room for all! Love the stage and that the bathrooms are kept in great condition and locked in the evening.

Not my favorite park but great for children ages 1-10 abouts. New playground, spray/water park, washrooms, a gazebo, stage, and many picnic benches some of which are provided with shade from trees. Soft sloped hill, good for sledding. Large, open field and a baseball diamond. Shiraoi House and Twin Arena's are right beside.

Such a great park! Water/spray park, playground, bandstand for live music museum, and so close to downtown! Such a great kid friendly location

Well kept park close to town featuring a museum, modern playground, water park, out door stage, little league baseball diamond and sledding in the winter months. Also home to the famous 'million dollar bathrooms' with attached Shiraoi House honoring the twinning relationship between the City of Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada and its sister city, Shiraoi Town, Hokkaido, Japan.

It's a beautiful park! My friends and I enjoy Pride in the park! Billy Barker Days! I played Ladies Fastball for many years back in the 1980's and 90's. Its got so many things to offer at the park. Museum and tourist information. A playground for kids. Quesnel's sister city in Japan has a house there displaying Shirari Japan and their customs.

I like the water park. The outdoor stage and festivals are amazing. This park got a brand new playground in the last three years. The playground is accessible and has a glider.

In summer there are many family events concerts(music)with well known groups & a rodeo for example Billy Barker days ,July wk ends,winter dog sled races,Barker ville,events all summer & winter surrounding the Caribou gold Strike; check it out at the town museum, open year round;

Like a jewel in Quesnel's crown. And it's loyal subjects police the park along with the help of rcmp. If you are a junkie and think you can contaminate our park with your filth, you will be dealt with promptly. So far so good.
