Sunset fishing charter- David is excellent captain, he knows where to catch fish and how to catch various fish in the ocean, he is the best teacher for the first time fishing trip. We caught a big halibut under his helps and had an impressive day with David till sun down. See you next year David! Highly recommended David- the best captain!

Truly the best Charter operator my family has ever had. SUPERB EXPEREINCE!! Most comfortable, capable boat I have had the pleasure to fish on. David Eng who is the Charter owner and operator/guide was very very capable. A pleasure to fish with. I learnt more about west coast fishing from him than any other charter I have been on. He worked very hard for us and made the experience a joy. My three girls enjoyed the time on the water and I would recommend Sunset Charters for someone looking to bring the family fashing. Fishing and weather were great and it was nice that Dave offered opportunities to look at seals and whales during our two days. He listened to what we wanted to do, and he delivered. That in of itself is truly amazing. We were able to do what we wanted, when we wanted and he only offered best suggestions to accomplish those requests. This was going to me my last chance at hiring a charter, if this one turned out to be like the others I was going to buy my own boat. Luckily for me I get to fish on the cheap now and just pay Dave at Sunset Charters for my future trips. Save your money and don't buy a boat, just hire Sunset Charters.

I suppose I should start by saying that I only have one other charter experience to compare Sunset with, and they are not in Prince Rupert. The reason I haven't tried anyone else is that from my first three-day with them to my most recent trip I haven't had any reason to shop around for a different outfit. My time fishing with this company and its staff over the last five years has been nothing but exemplary. From their solid understanding of the ocean they fish to their ability to put you in some amazing locations with the best chances to catch fish I continue to be impressed.

That was the greatest fishing charter i have ever been on, I highly recommend but now I am only worried you will pick my dates that i would pick so maybe go someplace else. Our captain Steve was great and when I book again I only want him. My only regret is that i never had enough money in my wallet to tip him what he really deserved

Sunset is excellent option when in Prince Rupert...captains know how to catch fish and have fun. Boats are great size and have cabins that allow you to get out of the weather if needed. Highly recommended!!
