We had an absolutely amazing experience with PROWA! They not only outfitted us with great gear but they were incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help every way possible with our kayak renting experience. I can’t rave enough about how professional and friendly they were and they honestly made a daunting experience easy, safe and a total blast. They provide a top quality experience for a very reasonable price and you can tell they are incredibly passionate about what they do. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get out on the water with any experience level.

We had a great afternoon kayaking after Wade got us oriented and set up pointing in the right direction for a relatively calm afternoon on a windy day! He was focused on our safety and well-being and gave us a good rundown of the kayaks and the safety gear. We spent the afternoon exploring some of the surrounding waters and saw eagles and deer on the trip. If you're planning on kayaking in the PR area, you won't regret using Wade's business!

Wade was friendly, had a wealth of information, was very professional and safety oriented. We were offered a first bag, flares and a marine radio along with everything else we needed as part of the cost for the kayak rental. Wade was not strict about the time frame for when we needed to be back which made our whole experience flexible and relaxed. We will definitely look him up again next time we’re in town or going to Haida Gwaii and renting from him before hand. Thanks for this great experience!

Wade took us to an uninhabited island where we were able to use kayaks and paddle boards that he provided. We were able to enjoy our lunch that we brought and go shelling and walk the beach. Wade was extremely personable and easy to talk to. He spent the time to teach us about the marine life and answered many questions we had. As a visitor from Ontario, I would recommend this to anyone on vacation or anyone wanting to experience what Prince Rupert has to offer. Whale sighting ✅ off bucket list!

Excellent quality rental gear! The sea kayaking in the Prince Rupert area is second to none. I'd highly recommend Wade and the team to get out on the water. We rented two Boreal Designs Inukshuk 17s which were mint and quite spacious hauling a ton of gear and water. Will definitely be back.

A fair weather day in Prince Rupert is not to be wasted. Call Wade and let him know you're interested, and let him sort out the details. He is flexible and adaptable with the planning. He picked the perfect day and time, provided all the gear and advice for comfort and safety, and pick a great route. It was my first time kayaking, and I tipped myself over right away! Wade was there to teach me how to get back in the kayak, and then off we went. We circumnavigated Lelu Island on a bright day in October. We saw loons, commorants, and ducks and a delightful pod of harbour porpoises feeding at the mouth of the Skeena River. Wade was patient with my fitness and skill level, and I never felt rushed. I felt safe the whole time. A sunny day, snowy peaks, calm water, and porpoises. Can you buy a day like this? Not really, but Wade might be able to help you find one for yourself. Thanks, PROWAA!

It Was my first time in Kayak, Amy made me feel safe and aware . She went over safety gear how it works . A “plan A an. B . I had hands on instructions in how to get back into my kayak if I did capsize. Which I happily did not need. The kayak handled very good in open water. I’m so great full in taking Amy’s advice on Type of kayak that fit my journey along pacific coast. I will most definitely return and now that know they can offer limit but comfortable accommodations I’m all ready looking at flights for next season. Thanks so much Amy and Wade. Cheers Will

Wade keeps the rental gear in emaculate shape! Easy pick up, easy drop off, all the safety and repair kit you might need. We rented 2 sea kayaks for a week and everything went super smooth. Would fully recommend!

Wade was a great guide on our 10k kayaking trip. He provided all the kayaking gear and safety talk. Very organized and made my 11 year old feel safe and helped him when he got tired. I had an absolutely amazing day with Wade. First and foremost we when through all safety procedures and info, made me feel at ease right off the bat. Wade is extremely knowledgeable on the waters around Prince Rupert and the history of the area. He is respectful of all the flora, fauna and the people living in the remote areas. I mentioned briefly that I might want to go for a swim and he took me to the beautiful Lucy islands. I would highly recommend this tour company, It was a wonderful experience!

Definitely the best service and customer experience I have experienced in Rupert! At first, I had rented kayaks/paddle board from Amy and Wade and they took the time to answer any questions I had along with giving helpful tips and hints (i.e routes to take etc.) I found them very knowledgeable and patient. The kayaks/paddle board was in good condition and came at a good renting price for the duration of time spent. I have also rented camping gear (2 person tent, sleeping bag and mattress) on two separate occasions. All items were in very good condition and it had made the camping trip much more enjoyable! What I appreciate most about Amy and Wade is their responsiveness. In my experience they are quick to respond with any questions or concerns!
