This was our third time aboard the Carolina Girls fishing off the beautiful west coast, out of Prince Rupert. Black tide adventures is awesome at what they do, from the thorough job booking and planning of the trip to ensuring a great time is had by all on the water. John is a very knowledgeable guide and knows the waters and the fishing spots for all species of fish. Prior to departure Michelle meets with the group to answer any last minute questions the group may have and provides times to meet on the first day. We have fished out of Rupert for the past 7 years and fishing with Blacktide adventures has been the best experience so far. John changes things up and try’s new spots if the bite is not on and has often stayed longer on the water to ensure you come home with fish. The fish is professionally cleaned and bagged at the end of each day and Rupert’s meats is the place to go for packaging fish for transport. The boat (Carolina Girls) is a very nice Grady white which handles the waters off the coast very well, it is very clean, comfortable and has the best fishing deck hands down, lots of room to play out the big fish. John and Michelle both give it 110% to ensure their clients have an enjoyable fishing charter.

Everything with this company is top notch. From the first phone call with Michelle to book the charter to John’s knowledge of where the fish are is second to none. We have never caught so many fish. Both John and Michelle wanted us to have a great experience and we did. Definitely would come back, we are going back and we would definitely recommend this charter company. It was a great day!

Fantastic trip with Black Tide! My wife and I ended up with a few unexpected days in Rupert in July, and John and Michelle accommodated us on short notice for a 1 day trip, even using up one of their rare personal days to take us out on John’s birthday! He put us each on a big halibut, which was our number one goal, plus lots of salmon! We felt safe in the very comfortable Grady White, even though the day was blustery out on the water! I was impressed with Michelle’s quick response time to questions, John’s professionalism and fishing knowledge, the willingness to stay out a little longer to give us maximum fishing time, and the quick cleaning and bagging of our catch at the end of a great day! Before we had met Black Tide, we had booked one day with another company up there, and we just booked with Black Tide again for 2022 because of all of the above! Thanks again for the great time!

We highly recommend Black Tide Adventures. Making arrangements was easy & thorough. They were on time & wasted no time getting the 3 of us to the good fishing spots that John was very knowledgeable about. He showed us how to catch & bring in the fish & kept a better eye on our lines than we did. He baited the hooks for us & made sure the bait was still on there. He kept the boat very clean & ensured the best catch possible while keeping us safe. He cleaned the fish for us and made sure we knew what to do with it. He followed all the regulations as well. We are planning to go back.

We had a fantastic day on the water with Black Tide adventures. The boat was extremely comfortable in some decent swells and had all the best gear. John was a lot of fun but also very professional. He took us to heaps of good spots and had all the tricks to get the fish in the boat. Michelle was very responsive in answering all the questions we had ahead of the trip, and was there waiting on the dock when we returned to help us with getting our fish packaged for transit setup well hey are a very professional outfit
