Excellent historical landmark that welcomes visitors to Prince George. Located at the intersection of two major highways, can have different flags to recognize or celebrate various community events. Nice simple park adjacent to allow visitors to see statue up close.

Mr pg man himself .. last time I was here my purse got stolen out of my car I took a picture of Mister P G man and the guy was riding his bike away with my purse I didn't notice until it was too late. I wonder what's in his time capsule in his chest I still think we should have something cool like a giant eagle but Mr PGman is trademark city of Prince George. He was here before me. It's really noisy intersection.

It was nice to read the story behind Mr. PG. One weird thing though is that the flag he is holding is not a Canada flag, the symbol on it is the outline of a cat I am guessing. Does anyone know why?

We were greeted by this friendly wooden character driving in so I decided to see exactly who he is! Mr. PG is a lovely landmark and has been greeting guests to Prince George since 1960!!
