You have the feddbacks of real people who consumed the services and products of Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park (Tourist Attraction) in Prince George area (Canada).
Right now this firm has a score of 4.5 stars over 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is almost the highest, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the rating is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction is classified in the category of Park.
Great place to walk regardless of the time of year but the past couple times I've been there, there has been discarded needle packaging along the path.
Nice park with walking path along the outskirts and throughout. For children there is a large area with swings, jungle gyms and benches for the parents. There's a water playground during the summer as well to cool down at. Exploration Place and the Little Prince mini train round out the activities to be found here.
Great walking paths. Small gauge train ride. Water park. Nice paths along the Fraser. Good playground for kids. Exploration Place Museum.
Really well kept park beautiful river trail. PS the museum is for kids and you will feel awkward going alone as an adult male.
Im pretty sure i have a chicken bone barried in that park....guess its my park now
Beautiful park filled with history, some of it quite violent. Loved the path. I'd recommend it to all those that come through this area.
It is absolutely stunning this time of year. The park is maintained with love and care that shows throughout the park. There's a water park for hotter summer days and a miniature train whose cars can comfortably carry one to two adults and a child. The museum dates back to the early years of Prince George and shows pictures of locals like Jack Meda and Wassa Leon. Put Side a whole day to explore Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park as you will need it. Enjoy!
We toured the memorial botanical gardens that were stunning, especially for so late in the season (Sept). The area was fragrant, the plants & shrubs so pretty and the park trees and space was so peaceful. That was only a smaller area of the entire park so I hope to see more after COVID. I think some of it goes along the water & there’s a science Center that’s closed for now. Plenty of space to explore!!!
I'll be honest the place was kinda empty and sure it might be winter but today was quite warm and there was broken branches everywhere some of the garbages where too full and honestly not a fan of the name change
Great place to spend time for families with kids!
Only water park in town, and a great playground for the kids. Canada Day Celebrations are amazing down there, lots of food vendors and merchants, crowds galore
This is our park this is Prince George’s park, also has a great little museum that really will surprise you. a waterpark and lots of places to hang out with your family or for your kids to play
The best place in Prince George to view the river. Especially if it's your first time in the area.
Lovely park with Water park and regular playground for kids and there was more. I was there with my 2 year old grandchild and we loved it! Well thought out!
Very beautiful, and pretty, especially in the fall
Beautiful, clean and well maintained park with large open space for picnics, walks or bike rides. Great venue for open air meetings too! Love it!
Very nice and easy to get in
Such a nice, peaceful place. Lots of seating, clean water park and fun for the kids
This is a lovely park. Unless there's an event going on, it's pretty quiet unfortunately. Having travelled to places like Indonesia, you do t have amazing parks like this there. So we should be so grateful for such a park like.this here in prince george
Very well maintained. Nice playground and water park for the kids yet enough room that if you want peace and quiet you can have that to.
It’s really nice to sit here and watch the river during all seasons ☺️
A nice park to walk or play outdoor games in. The volleyball courts are very good and the park in general is well maintained. The only downside is how busy it can get at times.
It is a beautiful place. Very well maintained.
Another wonderful visit in mid fall! Very mild weather and beautiful colours now!
There's a decent amount of activities here for most anyone. The Exploration Place has exhibits and historic value for touring thru, the Heritage Trail allows for dog-walking (please keep in mind the Heritage Trail is the only section of this park that allows dogs,) and there is a jungle gym of sorts and water park for kids located here as well. Canada Day celebrations usually take place as well as other events at the Pavillion area.
We spend a lot if time in this park. Biking, walking and playing pokemon go. There are a lot of stops here which can make it a busy place at times. They also have regular events for families that bring lots of people in. We always have a good time here. Lots of people have dogs on the walking trails on and off leashes.
Peaceful and beautiful setting. Love the trees and trails and that it is part of a larger trail network. Very historical and sacred place with the graveyard of the first nation children. I am always amazed that more people do not use the park. If it was Europe it would be absolutely packed. There is something for every age group.
Riverbank strolls, iced water flows, celebrations and recollections, grassy picnics, child friendly water park and the best little fire truck that ever was on the playground.
Beautifully maintained park, nice that at least part has been returned to the original people's, and grateful for their willingness to share it
Great park any time of the year. Lots of parking. Pet friendly on the riverside paths. Seasonal miniature train. Museum/ science center. Large playground
I grew up on Cedar Street so spent most of my childhood at the park. We always spend time here when we visit Prince George. The park is large with so many great areas. The playground has something for every child. There is also a spray park, a narrow gauge steam engine to ride and museum. I have always loved all of the green space, trees and pathways. There is a stage for concerts and other performances as well as a large covered shelter for picnics. There are two sets of washrooms at either end of the park. The main trail/road of the park continues on through the neighbourhood to Cottonwood Park. It's a beautiful walk!
very good and fun park my kids loved it
No matter what the time of year or who im with- this is my favorite place to go. Beautiful scenery and wildlife, the kids playground is great and the walking trails are even better!
South Fort George Park was great. Weather was totally awesome & had great time kicking a ⚽️ around with a good friend ????.
Beautiful ???????? place and nice to able to enjoy the walks ☺️ and sights and pay my respects Peace full sitting by the river Good to get away from it all and Get grounded and meditate on goods things to happen ????????????️????????
Great park in Prince George. Kids have fun. Hope exploration centre reopen soon.
Beautiful day at a beautiful park n thanks again to the lheidli Tenne' for allowing us LBN members to use their territory to conduct LBN elections all candidates forum.
I like this park very much, just by the river. You can walk, run, and bike here.
Great place. Friendly for all ages. Clean. Fun. Safe.
Nicest place to visit within the city. You've got the occasional people drinking or using drugs in there but it's a big enough place to mostly avoid them. The ice cream at the train station is good but a bit over priced. Not sure if the train runs anymore. The museum there is really nice
Aka Fort George. This park has a ton of history and I don't pretend to know much of it. There are plaques talking about the fort and the Hudson's Bay trading Post that was here. The trail runs down the side of the river.
Go play with the kids everytime we go through PG.
A nice park, sidewalk not accessible and a path around, albeit a ring surrounds it and the seating areas inside a huge natural setting next to a ball park. Power mobilty devices may have to search for access to use this park, visual challenges may need a guide
Amazing for a walk with fresh air and fantastic vibe!
It's a great p)ace to visit have picnics ect.
Its a nice place lots to see and learn about great ppl kids love this place my son had to much fun lol went there as a school good job to the ppl that work there THANKS highly recommended
My experience here was wonderful it's quite a beautiful park especially on nice sunny clear days :) I recommend this to everyone have a goodnight everyone.
Great place to bring the family or just chill under a tree.
Fort George park is fantastic, with A lot of different areas to use. We just spent the evening there, driving RC cars along the paths with the kids and then played for a while on the large playpark they have in the centre.
Nice park! Playground is awesome and the water park is fun.
Love the park very beautiful land withba nice veiw over the nechako river
A beautiful, clean, safe place for families to enjoy a picturesque time by the river.
Fantastic gardens and a great walk. Watch for bears.
Great little park and has a Canadian national historic site plaque
Nice place to soak up some good vitamin D.. Nice scenery Friendly people
Great for kids and adults. Many play areas, a water park for the warmer days, and a mini working steam train. Also great for a quiet walk around the river but bring bug spray for mosquitoes. If you're visiting PG, definitely check it out. Should be good to kill a few hours. Don't like that they changed the name, so it'll always be Fort George Park to me.
The kids always have fun here. I like the amount of yes here so it's easy to find shade. I personally wish the ground at the spray park was rubberized like the one in New West. Drinking fountains - unless there was some and I just didn't see them. Also basketball hoops for older kids or adults so they can have some fun too.
An absolutely beautiful park, with clean washrooms and amazing play equipment for the kids, the water park is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended!
There isn't a lot of security in this park. For such a large popular playground and waterpark the presence of police or security is nearly nothing. In the winter there doesn't appear to be any maintenance at all. The walkways aren't cleared of snow and the parking lot appears to be done on an infrequent basis.
Great place to take the kids .lots of fun, just playing or getting yourself soaked. Plenty of shade and places to sit. Well planned out park.
Beautiful park. Great for all ages. Water park and playground for the kids. Band shelter for celebrations and some live performances, aboriginal cemetery, museum, many nature trails and it's dog friendly on one side too. Lots of places to sit of it's not too busy and a great view of the Fraser river
First impression of the park I had with my daughter in the winter and it is amazing. I am confident that in the spring this is top place to go with kids and enjoy wonderful views over the river.
I find this park serene. To enjoy casually wandering through I am amazed at the happy faces. There would be more happiness if accessibility standards were more in line with CSA ADA standards on accessibility standards. For instance people with mobility devices like scooters or wheel chairs are hard pressed to get a genuine view of the river. This could easily be changed if only there were more colors access routes like the ones made for the lawn maintenence people. So when designing please think of who might have the greatest challenge in accessing and design to meet their needs and suddenly all of society gains. Thanks for reading this and please always think inclusively!
Lheidli T'enneh Park is a wonderment. It used to be a village for the local First Nations so be mindful of that as you enjoy this great park. It runs alongside the mighty Fraser River and as you walk, you can see this powerful river. There are public restrooms at either end of the park, two playgrounds, a beach volleyball court, a band shell and the lovely Exploration Place Museum at one end. There is also a waterpark for the kids and adult kids. The best time to come is generally summer, but fall brings out the best colours when the leaves change.
The City of PG considers this a "destination park" and it shows. Generally clean and well maintained. Large park down by the river with large old trees, a fair sized water park, a large playground, and tables and benches everywhere.
One of my favourite places to go for a walk. I really love the wide pathways that accommodate multiple people. They have lots to offer for kids, including a splash park, playground, and the Little Prince Train.
Many memories at this park growing up and now I take my kids here to play at the kiddie park, go for walks along the river trails and they bring their bikes n longboards too
Pretty and peaceful walk by the river.
Only explored about half of the park due to heavy rain. Park is beautiful and made a great start to a first date 10/10 from me
Was great day keep the grandkids busy
Really nice playground. There are public washrooms available and plenty of parking. Interesting variety of playstructures. The playground has wood chips covering the area so best to play with closed toe shoes.
Beautiful park. There is a big play ground and water park for kids to enjoy. Well adults can relax under covered seating or enjoy watching their kids play at the multiple benches around the park. The also have a train that goes around the park during summer hours. There are also trails running all through the park for you to enjoy.
Awesome park in winter or summer. Lots of space to kick or throw a ball around and to find a little slice of peace in the city. Lovely trees and we'll maintained.
Great park with lots to see and do. Park for kids, and a water park in the summer for them to keep cool. Amazing scenery during any season, and overlooking the river with many places to stop and admire it
Lots of events through the summer. Great walking trail around the park that is dog friendly. The park itself however is not pet friendly. Lots of flowers, trees, picnic tables and water park and play ground for children.
Beautiful park. A lovely place to connect with nature. Nice trail along the river with trees lining the path.
Gorgeous and prestine to say the least! Great place to host a picnic or a birthday or just to let your kids blow off steam at the playground or on hot days, let them cool off at the water park! I highly recommend this place ????
Great place to play at with the kids, water park and playground, also has icecream, train rides, great walking paths and grass areas to roam around on!
Wonderful place. It includes a museum, waterpark, stage, and is probably the most beautiful place in the city.
Nice place to walk the dog and see the trees changing colour across the river
Its a beautiful place to walk and hang out with friends
Lots of space to relax with family and friends. Very well maintained. Can't wait to go back when the Exploration space is open again.
Nice place to go for a walk. Beautiful trees and lots of space to play around.
Beautiful park all year long .Safe distancing is not a problem with it being a large recreational park with trails and paved walkways.
Big park, lots of trails, pet area, playground, Miniature train with historical info, small science museum. Wheelchair accessible. Restrooms. Paved paths, picnic tables and of mature trees for summer shade. Great for everyone.
Awesome park downtown. I wish PG had more large parks and greenspaces like this. There's a Waterpark, playground, bandshell, fountains, washrooms etc. No pets allowed except on leash and only on the paved road next to the river!!
Very beautiful park, has lots of trees, grass, flowers, paved walk ways, water park and playground for kids. Out door theatre, wash rooms, museum and lots more., Worth checking out!
it was a little icy in places, of course, but the sun was shining and glimmered on the river and hills. beautiful place to walk ????
I got lost trying to find Fort George Park and ended up here instead. ???? Grounds are well-kept. There's lots of paths, open spaces, different areas sectioned off by tree walls, a covered area with tables for events, a pretty swank water park that's way better than anything we had growing up, and some massive gorgeous trees.
This is a fantastic park to take Family.Ther is a old woodfire train that you can take rides on,also a playground for Children.Baseball diamond and trails lots a room for walks.I highley recommend this park for a hour or a day outing close to town and amenities.
Nice area to take your dog or kids. Water park and museum and train for the kids.
Beautiful park and so much history.( A must see )..
Enjoyed the park until my husband had to go to the washroom and it wasn't wheelchair accessible. A nice lady helped me get him into the washroom and a gentleman helped with getting him out. We all were wondering why its not handicap accessible, this was my husband's 1st outing since covid. Hes a amputee so its hard to get him out.
Beautiful place to walk and see the river. There is also a playground ,aswell as some educational aspects aswell. We stopped and had a picnic lunch with our family.
Well maintained and a beautiful park to do anything from playing beach volley ball to reading a book on the grass
This park is amazing! It is very large. There is plenty of parking. If you want to be alone there is no problem avoiding people. Beautifully set by the Fraser River. The walking paths are nicely paved so families with baby strollers and people in wheelchairs have no problems getting around. Wheelchair users would have a much easier time getting into grassy areas of they brought a small ramp. The walking paths do have curbs.
Great place for a family gathering and kids all alike.
It's a great place to go to whether you wanna walk or sit at the tables and have a picnic.
A beautiful park to stroll around and take in the views of the Fraser River and also connect up with Cottonwood Island park
