REVIEWS OF Goodsir Nature Park IN Prince George

An incredible private park and trail. Lots of signs and information make this a very educational trip. Admission by donation, camping available on request. Private radio also available as well as an extensive museum and gift shop showcasing Canadian wildlife and ecology. Due to health of owner and lack of volunteers, as well as being a private park is a bit in disrepair.

Well worth the drive. take a whole day to walk it.

This is one of the most beautiful, educational and tranquil nature parks we have been so blessed to discover. There is also an array of beautiful birds, a beaver and other wildlife that we have viewed in the park. Camping spaces are available in an RV or tents and there is a beautiful remote cabin for rent by donation. Jim has also an astounding botanical garden, botanical museum and an amazing music archive and radio station archive. This whole place is so breathtaking and Jim Good is our hero for his altruistic work and his indomitable spiritual dedication to promote nature, conservation and the community of Prince George. <3

This place is an absolute must-see here in Prince George. Jim Good owns this beautiful property that has been turned into a combination botanical museum/nature park/music museum. We spent about 45 minutes walking the park and enjoying the wide variety of flowers, trees and various other plants that are marked along the trail. The visit was made even better when Jim and his faithful 4-legged companion Cash toured us through his music museum and the botanical museum. Even the most savvy nature or music fan will learn something new from Jim. I highly recommend visiting this place and experiencing the beautiful scenery and meticulous efforts put into all the exhibits here!

The park is beautiful to walk around, super informative, and the both museums are so fascinating. Great place to bring kids or trying to learn about plants

Beautiful park! A little wet when we went but we're excited to go check it out during wildflower season. John Good created this park on his own property and spent decades collection the plant life, it truly is incredible and I can't believe it's in our own backyard.
