Yet another stunning viewpoint on PEI. The entrance road is unpaved and really hard to see, especially when coming from the South. Be sure to be looking for it closely and/or have GPS guidance. It's also only wide enough for one car, so if you meet another person, someone will have to back up. It should also be noted that there is no beach access. If you want that go a little further down the highway to the pier. A great stop if you're in the area.

Nice little escape off the beaten path. Beautiful clear water below the cape. A short trail to the north of the light house leads you to a path down to the water.

Very cool point to visit as you can see for miles and it is very high up. Only downside is that you cannot go to the top of the lighthouse.

While not having signage to direct you on your way, finding this lighthouse made for amazing lunch stop as we travel the Island today.(We actually found directions while at the Glass Houses). There were only two other vehicles there, and we sat out at the edge of the cape for a picnic. They're beautiful views of the southern coast of Prince Edward, including some great rock formations.

Really beautiful views. The lighthouse itself is still a working lighthouse but is starting to look it's age. You can't go inside. The road down to the lighthouse is an unpaved road and is very narrow however seeing the cliffs and the ocean so close to you from that high up is amazing!

Fantastic hidden gem. Nothing fancy, no parking lot. Just a clearing and a lighthouse. Have a picnic in the grass on the cliffside in the shadow of a lighthouse.

The road is a bit rough, but totally worth it! The lighthouse itself is in rough shape, to be expected. It's the views that really make this place. Prince Edward Island has so many hidden gems tucked away in every corner of the province, and this is definitely one of them, if you're willing to get your car dirty while you seek them out! If you're visiting the Bottle Houses, or on a road trip along the North Cape Coastal Drive, perhaps heading to West Point or North Cape, be sure to make a stop here. You will not regret it.
