Google maps took me to the wrong place. Look for cranberry street and crown avenue. At the end of the road, you can park and then begin your climb up the mountain. It’s a nice quick hike with the Dog and not many people. Beautiful view from the top.

Christie Mitchell

A great short, uphill hike with a fantastic view.

John Nicol

Very nice hiking spot although some tough spots. Very pretty

So many unmarked paths in this park. Rewarding hike no matter the path. Recommended at least seeing the "stairs" if you don't go up them.

Great clime up the old stairs. You enjoy a view over the mill and see all the little Islands and Vancouver Island. Do the loop and you see Cranberry Lake, Powell Lake and the coastal mountains. Just beautiful>

Super easy hike with a beautiful view.

A good hike, lots of verticality without taking too much time out of your schedule unless you are constantly pausing to catch your breath as I was. Take your time on the stone stairs up to the top, the rise and run of them are all over the place. Very satisfying to get to the top, nonetheless.

Monster “Monstermash” Mash

It was a beautiful hike up the mountain. Easy enough for kids but please keep a very close eye on them as there are no safety rails at the top, only on the steep stone stairs. Once at the top you can overlook Powell River and get a clear view of the Ocean and mountains and the Paper Mill. I recommend this to anyone who loves hiking and can appreciate a beautiful view. Please pick up your garbage though.

Quick grind up some cute rocky "stairs" to a stellar view at the top! We enjoyed a picnic on a picnic table at the top while watching some cute hummingbirds and jays play around us, and soaking in the amazing view! Everyone should do this little walk.

Francine Martineau

Short little walk with some neat stairs and pretty good views from the top highly recommend if you have a spare 15-30 minutes to wander around and it's dog friendly as long as you know your dogs are ok with cliffs even so bring a leash to be safe!
