Its a beautiful place with the exception of broken glass where children and dogs play. And it would even more enjoyable if people would clean up after their dogs. Bags are provided at both ends of the parking lot facing the lake. Please use them. There is a nice walking trail and the view is spectacular. The water is clear and refreshing.

Surrounded by beautiful mountains this easily accessible like a great place for family. The water temperature is just right in the summer and there are nearby trails to explore.

Nice place to go for a swim ,dogs must be on leash in the summer. There is also about ramp and a playground for the kids as well as bathrooms!

I like this place ALOT for swimming it has a nice beach for kids to play. Across the bay there are actually cliffs you can walk to, to to those cliffs and you will have a great place to jump off of into the lake and a nice place to relax beside the water.

It's got a small playground, lots of fun driftwood usually, and it's a great little beach for toddlers. But the name should be changed to Poop Bay because it's filled with dog poop in the winter and geese poop in the summer. Also tends to get heaps of litter and the garbage cans are over flowing often. Hence 3 stars.

In the fall dogs are allowed, the water can still be calm enough for paddle boarding and warm enough for hardy swimmers.

Took the trails to the rocks in the far side from the beach. Lots of garbage sadly. Definitely the better side to take advantage of the sun as late as possible

Beautiful park and bay. Nice dock and boat launch. Roped off area for swimming. Nice beach for sitting, relaxing and enjoying the peaceful serene view of Powell Lake. Usually a few geese in the area enjoying the beach as well. Nice playground for kids to play in with swings.

Great place to cool off from a mountain bike ride or just hang out all day. Just have to get the town to kill off all the Canadian geese!!!

Decent trail once you find the entrance. Google Maps sent us down a private industrial road closed to the public Monday through Friday 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM! Luckily we went on a Saturday. Well marked EXCEPT for the small trail going down to Mowat Bay itself. At one point you come to a T with no further directions or markers.We found many other better trails in the area and would not go back.
