Nice area to swim on a hot day. The beach is close by.

Carolyn Wells

Is a nice spot to bring kids to cool off untill people come and dont clean up after themselves..

allan espiritu

Limited places to park but plenty of things to see, wildlife, and trails to hike. Beautiful conservation area.

Capt. John Swallow

Nice natural area, lots to explore. Can be a little muddy after rain.

Janagen Ruban

Found cool stuff from the devonian age

Essa Kanji

Lovely walk around the abandoned quarry

Cheryl Morris

An amazing place to explore and enjoy. Fossils are around 400 million years old!!

Kailene Anger

It was a great walk with my mom beautiful scenery. But some stupid kids broke into my mom's car and stole her purse

Carlton Todd

This location is not overly busy, especially in the fall. Great place for family walks and dogs! I do however only recommend this location during daylight hours because it's not a lit location. Some areas are novice hiking grounds and there is also a gravel path :) there is also water location that is good for fishing and some decent swimming spots.

Crystal Fisher

Just a quarry to swim in. But a great quiet spot. No lifeguard. No parking.

Ethan Strauss

Great place to go for a walk, hike , or ski.

Mustafa Trips

Definitely a good place to walk your dog but not so much as a beach setting to sit and enjoy. Make sure you bring flats or something to walk through sand and rocks with ????

Diuvert Lopez

Desert pleasant beach. Interesting spring water lake in old mine. There is a good horseplay nearby with galloping tours available.

Claire Lam

Wainfleet conservation and beach area was a nice place to relax and get some sun. We reat enjoyed the quietness (that was not crystal beach or the likes). Found parking easily and a short walk to either the Quarry swim area or the beach further south. It's a shame that there seemingly had a lot of beer cans, garbage, cigarette butts, etc in the conservation area / wetlands.

Lori Carter

Would not recommend you take your dogs on this hike. Appears to be the local party place Broken glass everywhere. Very disappointed.

Annie Mike mike

I think is nice place to visit be for all snow at the beach gon

Kevin Jaskiewicz

Cool spot for some cliff jumps

Caroline Wharton

Beautiful, clean spot to enjoy the lake...depending on the current there can be algae

Kevin S

Great place to fly my drone and get some great cinematic video.

This is a lovely place, for cliff jumping, relaxing, swimming, please stop littering (it's not bad but there is glass where you would cliff jump so bring water shoes)

willy chambers

Lots of algae on the shoreline and water. Ok for a quick stop for a picture of the bay

Sarah Kleinendorst

Its unfair that non residents have ruined the most enjoyable parts of the conversation area. Can no longer run or bike the loop around the conservation area or fish in the nicest area. A big ugly fence and threatened with being on camera instead of able to relax. Heartbreaking as I live within running/biking distance. I had to find another local place to visit.

Jeff de Koning

Hidden gem, historic and one of the few places in Niagara where you can still get lost! Can be very muddy. It is a big after all!

Amanda Grimaldi

Went very late winter/early spring, dreary but still beautiful! Would like to go again in better weather!

Chris May

Very nice and peaceful spot. Saw lots of birds.

Braydon Dayz

Nice quite place for a short hike or swim

Alexander

Great place for a hike, there are trails along the water and Camelot beach can be accessed heading south down Bessey road.

Brian “TrueScotsman” Ruxton

I am so glad that I took the day to visit here, as the water was nice and warm. It is one of those undiscovered Treasures of Ontario

Dylan Hardman

Very cool. Many fossils to find and lots of wildlife. Good hiking trails.

Doug Carter

Nice and quiet. Some trails to walk.

Daniel Ferdinand (WingManDan)

A short boardwalk hike through the marsh and an overlook tower to climb. It is well cared for and worth the effort to visit. Canoe rentals are available but we didn't have time for that.

Gordon Smith

My wife and I enjoy going there to relax and get some sun. The water at the parking end of the old Quarry is bathtub hot.. Most of the kids hang out at the far end because they enjoy jumping off the cliff in to the cooler waters. The parking lot takes about 8 cars. It is called Gordon Harry Conservation Area. So peaceful and a steady breeze off of Lake Erie. Take a short drive down Quarry Road and at the end of the road is a small public beach right on the Lake. Use Highway 3 as your main road to Quarry Rd. About a 45 minute drive from the Falls areas.

Tracy Michael

relaxing n nice

Erika Weisenberg

Another beautiful part of Canada, great for a little hike and taking the dogs out!

Trevor Proulx

Great place for teaching kids about fossils and the world of the past. Just be sure to leave all the fossils you find behind for others to enjoy!

Tyler Kiernander

Great place for a cool walk! Very quiet and peaceful.

Samuel Noble

It's an old quarry that filled with water, the water is clear and beautiful with lots of nice rockface surrounding it. Three stars because it seems to attract a rowdy crowd, loud people broken bottles everywhere. Needs a good cleanup and supervision.

Patricia Shedden

Had my second shot here. Very well organized

Scott Hutchings

Pretty great views and some beautiful pictures can be had here.

Michael Laski

Trails not maintained, both adding and taking away from the experience. But make sure to watch out for ticks afterwards. The area is infested with dog ticks. The bog is nice and has large 1-2 feet fish swimming in it. Other spot able animals are canines not sure which one I glimpsed/heard, cranes, deer rodents etc.

Chris Courville

Very beautiful. A lot of young man hanging out which “can” be dangerous but other then that I want to go back...awesome!

DNA Gregory

Great calm place

Generic_Shell

Went here once and found some exposed fossils, including an ammonite. The water is nice and cool. The only downside is that the dung left by horses (ridden by riders) is not cleaned up.

faith S

Perfect family friendly location. Not too busy. Beautiful location.

Theo Man

Great hike, lots of water bring your boots. Lots of ticks!

Don Tanguay

The quarry is nice, lots of room and a few minute walk to the beach, Lake Erie.

Tylor Skinner (SkinnyT)

Good place to swim and jump into water. Lots of fish swimming around

Bob Liddycoat

Good now but how long before NPCA turns into anothet of its Disney projects?

Arawina Hagerty

So glad it exists. I wish we had more of these locations in Southern Ontario.

Diana Woehl

A beautiful walk with the dog, you could easily spend a good amount of time here. The friendship trail runs beside it so enjoy both. Planning to bring the canoe back in the summer

n t

I noticed this spot in passing during work. I totally intend on taking my family and friends here to explore. Locals swim here and have so for decades as I'm to understand it.

Jeff Ballin

Beautiful place. One of my favourite places. Newly expanded north parking lot and portable washroom. Walking and cycling trail off the Gord Harry Conservation Trail and quarry for fishing, paddling. Sadly became a party place with lots of trash left behind, but the fencing and closure of the former south end entrance seems to have solved the party and garbage issues.

Nicolas Vocal

Nice spot but beach should be maintained a bit more for natural debris and litter.

Jay Haywood

Easy 45 min walk. Beautiful area and the path is nice.

W V

Nice area to walk around,a bit muddy around certain areas on the trail though.

L Rand

Great place to go for a walk....Nice beach to swim sometimes. This beach is becoming more and more undesirable. The horses are pooping everywhere and no one seems to be cleaning it up. It is becoming known as stink bay.

Laurie Filson

Beautiful nature at its finest

Suzanne Steenkist

The quarry will never be the same since putting a fence up.

sarah roadnight

Great small hiking opportunities or fishing, swimming, and letterboxing all here!

Catherine “AlwaysARedhead” Burden

Would be a wonderful place to take children exploring.

Jen Jeff

Absolutely beautiful place!

ZomGitsKG

Tide has risen to the point there is no beach left, water is mostly muddy and swanpy

Cody Brooks

Nice gravel trail to walk the dog on through the nature reserve.

Michael Velzy

Just an amazing place to swim. Period

Chris Roth

Would have given 10 stars as it's a great swimming spot but getting a parking ticket on the hottest day ever is not acceptable

Brian Daigle

Beautiful scenic trails and many different wildlife species .

Chris j

Please pick up after ourselves can keep this Conservation Park beautiful

Bobbie Teneycke

Very beautiful quarry

mark s

Very pretty area. Guided tours on Horses were trekking through

Rachel D

I love this spot for its versatility. Nice hiking/path trails to walk the dog. There is also a beach area on the lower level to one side and the rock quarry to the other, both suitable to spend a day swimming and lounging. Parking can be a bit challenging at times in the warmer months, however there is more parking on Lakeshore Rd if you're comfortable with a 3-5 min walk to the quarry.

Colette Vallieres

Beautiful spot to visit .. Take the trail .. Parking is limited .. Enjoy!

Dan Kennedy

We were out for a cruise in our hot rods ans saw all the horses in the water . Lookedlike a lot of fun and we will definately be a customer at another time .

Great place for a hike. Wonderful views

Jean Murphy

It was my first time there and it is beautiful viewing and a relaxing place

Justin Pritchard

Beautiful area. Perfect place for a walk/ easy hike.

Barb Pare

It's very peaceful at the beach .listen to the waves and stargaze

Tammy Hodges

A group of us came out with our dogs...we all enjoyed trails. All the pups loved playing in the water.

Michael Fang

Great place for hiking and bird watching.

Ian Emmons

This place gets very busy in the warmer months with swimmers, the Northside of the quarry can become very smelly with the black sludge at the bottom.

Ed Morawski

Excellent place to go in a heat wave. Especially for our two dogs. ☺

CC “Princess35”

Hidden gem along the trans Canada trail. We found it while bike riding the trail . It’s a nice little rest stop before you continue on your way .

Lorne Bennett

We loved this place. Catch n release..gorgeous area, clean, massive rock.

PotatoLord75000 hwgd

Love it. Great trail. We has coffee and relax.

Kelly C

Great walking trail! Nice amount of parking for off season use.

Ian arch

Great place to take in the Solstice

Cory Leitch

Great place to walk and hike and nice swimming hole and good largemouth bass fishing.

Arman Mahmoodi

Cool place to visit for nature and nice quarry

J R

The hike around the quarry is nice, lots of broken glass though in certain spots.

Ai Mon

Very nice and quiet but tiny beach. Water is bit dirty and its worth if you like little privacy and quiet beach.

Jim Vanderhoek

If you are interested in a hike in the wetlands, this is the place. Bring heavy boots and watch for rattle snakes.

frank Notarianni

Wat a scenery wow

Jen Weatherson

What a great night ????

M Cafik

Wonderful shared trails. We take our horses and the parking can be a challenge. Very flat since the trails are an old railway. Footing is great. Accessible year round.

Bruin

Amazing swim hole

Rachel Robertson

A bit smelly this time of year, but a nice quiet stretch of beach to sit and chill

jongwon lee

Nice public beach
