It's a nice walk and you get to see some cool boats go through the canal. They don't shovel the snow or clear the ice in the winter season

Isaac Poggi

My wife and I love this little stretch, most famous for it's jammed packed streets during "Canal Days". It's one of those hidden gems, it has all the quaint little shops places to eat a beautiful view of the canal without hordes of people!

It is attached to port colbourn and economically is very important for Canada. Once a major defense city against the american uprisers now is a key port for ships transportation through Welland canal. But it is not a tourist attraction, maybe the roads and buildings and restaurants need a total renovation and medias should work more on this city to introduce it to rest of Canada and North America.

Port Colborne's Port Promenade offers some wonderul views of the city and the natural landscapes. It takes roughly fifteen minutes to walk the promenade from start to finish. The southern section could need some maintenance.

Beautiful part of the city. Nice place to eat, shop and enjoy passing ships in the Canal. I would recommend to City Hall to make West street foot traffic only and increase pedestrian traffic.

A little kitch, way low on the touristy scale and laid back are my first descriptors. The ability to get there by boat and dock at the entrance to the Welland Canal was a cultural plus!

Beautiful

One of the prettiest locations in the city. The wide boardwalk, seating and tables are welcome spots to spend some time and watch ships from around the world pass by. The city does a great job planting flowers, trees and puts Christmas lighting up. There are shops and eateries along the length of West street as well as others located close by. A jewel in the city for sure.

Debbie Szabari

Beautiful for a walk. It is just hard with all the bikes, you have to keep getting out of their way

We stumbled onto Port Promenade via TripAdvisor. It's a nice small port with a cool looking bridge (that is remotely controlled). The water is calm and there are plenty of quaint shops along the port/pier. Grab some fish and chips or some small treats and walk along the port.

Terry Finley

Nice area to go for a stroll.
