We had very good family time .good picnic spot, swimming in fresh water make you feel touch nature. Hidden gem which have huge parking , toilets, garbage disposal...wat else we need ..????

Great spot for a Walk, picnic, or swim on the river. Big open area for catch, frisbee or other activities. Lots of old pine trees. Great place to walk the dog. Water taps throughout the park haven't worked in years.

Such a beautiful and peaceful park. The river is always great for a cool down and lots of kid friendly trails for bikes.

Beautiful park I've been coming here since I was a little kid and it hasn't changed at all. I was slightly disappointed that the small natural fountain that filled with water on its own has been destroyed and turned into a garbage can/fire pit.

Our shepherd loves this place, starts getting excited about 3 exits before we actually get there. We always stop on our way to and from Cape Breton to let the dogs out, very picturesque down by the river.

Another pictou county provincial park that is well maintained. Two levels .. road side and river side. Some nice walking trails and road side and river side picnicking. Great to place to visit and enjoy nature in it's best. You won't be disappointed.

Always love taking my dog for a walk here. This spring there are a few trees down and lots of uneven ground (both of which you're warned about at the parking area) very underutilized as well, so often have the park to myself :)
